I am an independent disability support worker and I took my participant to this park as he loves to walk. We walked around the park looking at all the ducks and birds around the pond area. Then we went along one of the dirt bush tracks taking in the scenery and boats on the water. He loved the view and looking at the boats and bird life. We also appreciated the toilets and covered picnic tables to eat our lunch at. There was also a play ground for young children but we didn't use it. Plenty of parking. Also the grounds are always being maintained. Beautiful place to visit.

Dog friendly, picturesque, tranquil, relaxing, out of the way hidden park with all you need in facilities!! Not as full as nearby Oatley Park. Lovely duck pond, plenty of clean covered picnic tables, clean electric(?) barbies, typical stainless steel & concrete public toilets, plenty of grass and shade to sit under or run around. Baseball diamond with all you need. Plenty of garbage and recycling bins and parking. Off leash dog area at certain times, great place to walk your puppy!! We'll be back!!

  • Simon Chiang

Good kids playground, although a little walk from the carpark. Half basketball court, ducks at the pond, decent walking track at the back of the pond for the more adventurous. The park itself is also pretty good. Turf is nice when not in sports season, so it's good to go kick a ball with kids. Usually doesn't get too busy. For some reason it's a terrible place to fly a kite. There are lots of wind breaks, and when the wind gets thru, it swirls.

A beautifully well maintained local park. There's sports playing ground, clean toilet facilities, a lovely lake complete with benches and shady spots for picnics. The park is easily accessible by car with plenty of parking along the internal roadway. There's also local footpaths and access points that lead into the park if you choose to walk through it. Great for families and lots of local events are held here.

  • Fi Roro

Huge park with sports fields, a lovely duck pond and a great bushwalk track. The playground equipment is pretty underwhelming - the kind you would see at any pocket park in a residential zone. Could also use some water refill stations.

  • Stevie Melissa Grantham

This is paradise hidden in the suburbs. Since the lake was trawled and the detritus removed - the ducks are back and the place just sparkles. Think weeping willows, playground equipment, picnic tables, papyrus reeds swaying in mirrored

  • Bryce Gainge

Several undercover picnic tables, toilets and 2 BBQ's and easy access to bins. Lots of ducks and other pond animals. Enjoyed seeing turtles and eels in the pond too. Area is pretty well maintained - very little rubbish.

  • Kate Crawford

There is a lovely kids playground which caters for a range of ages. It is great fun to watch the ducks. You can do a short bushwalk from here with some water views. Great for a picnic, there are some electric barbeques.

  • MATTHEW WILLIAMS

Toilet facilities need to be upgraded. The fields need to be manicured and large divots and holes filled before serious injuries are sustained. During cricket season the fields should be top dressed and levelled.

  • Lucy Finn

if u want to make bike trails or jumps then this is not the place to go. You will probably find a karen trying to destroy them. Pond also needs some 3 meter flatty's. Quite disappointing

  • Diane Yousouf

There are playing fields for baseball and cricket in this large park. Great walking tracks lead off from here as well. An attractive feature is the small dam popular with bird life.

  • Gary L

It's a very hidden park that separates between urban and nature. It sits in the heart of a nice area that is near a river looking from above. You may find some ducks around too.

  • Rick Pope

Nice park for a relaxing time. Plenty of covered seating for lunch. Nice pond with ducks, pleasant walks in the park, some in the bush. Nice oval for kicking a ball around.

  • peter kirgan

i often watch the baseball here ! it has a nice outlook ! only downfall is possibly the name ! why would council name a nice park after a former communist is beyond me

  • Lynley Young

So wonderful and relaxing. Something everybody needs. Just chill and watch the game. Doesn't matter who's playing and you can get an old fashion hot dog from the Canteen.

  • Vale Luo

Beautiful park, well maintained grounds. BBQ is free to use. It was not very clean as they are placed directly under a tree. A great place to sit and relax

  • Shadi Jheir

  • Jacques Zakhem

A great place to go to feed the ducks, have fun with the kids and generally relax! The bush trails along the Georges River make for a nice walk too.

  • Karl Whitty

Highlight of the park is a lake at the back of the park where lots of ducks can be spotted. Has a large oval and play toys for the kids.

  • Jenny M

Clean and quiet park, well maintained…. Has a beautiful pathway leading to epic views of the Georges River, especially at sunset.

  • Stuart Nightingale

Good park, wide spaces, trees and shade. I didn't expect to see an alligator in the pond but it provided further entertainment.
