Purchased a rose gold watch for my partner at Xmas and the colour dissolved so was taken back to the store and sent off for repair on August 25th. When we took it back, Christine, who is one of two supervisors, was thoroughly unhelpful, impolite, and lacked any form of customer service. I found her obstructive, abrupt, and she interrupted me at every possibility as opposed to letting me speak. The watch finally arrived back in store on 27th October, despite being quoted 4-6 weeks, and whenever I phoned up the store to check on progress and ask for an explanation, I was just batted off with “covid mate”. When I went to pick the watch up I unfortunately had the displeasure of being served by Christine again. I have never been unfortunate enough to be “assisted” by someone with such appalling customer service, and if she worked for me and spoke to customers the way she spoke to me she would be out on her ear. I asked her if I could speak to the store manager Chris, to be told with the usual grace of an alsation dog that Christine has that Chris wss at lunch. God forbid he put down his sandwich for five minutes to speak to a disgruntled customer. When I finally spoke to Chris over the phone later in the day he was not bothered one jot about my dissatisfaction. A thoroughly appalling experience for start to finish, and I will be emailing head office once i have finished this review.

Upsiting. My wife have ordered a watch for me as a present for our wedding anniversary, then she received a message from DX the delivery company saying that my order has been deliverd and signed by my wife. Called H Samuel did not go anywhere, bad costmer service couldn't get hold of anyone. Called DX the delivery company they told me to contact H Samuel. I don't know where is my watch and if I'm going to get or not. Ruined my Anniversary and my weekend, I wouldn't recommend That H Samuel but if you still want to Use it chose pick at the store option. DO NOT DO HOME DELIVERY. Advice for H Samuel please use a decent Delivery method or a company Don't go for cheaper options

I have had 2 engagement rings (from the same man) 1 a solitaire the other palladium with 3 diamonds (called FOREVER DIAMONDS) thats a joke because both lost the stones When i asked for a quote for repair i was told that the 3 stone was a bad design by member of staff as the stones were only held in by 2 claws I wrote to H samuels stating this and the fact they are called forever diamonds and asked if they would take liability for the design and assist with repair costs Well the response was an abrupt NO The staff were apologetic in store so i cant fault them but i would never buy anything from here again

50th Wedding anniversary last Saturday, bought wife her present from this store, Daughter went to wrap it Thursday, found it was damaged, I returned to the shop Friday near to tears, the girls in the shop were pure angels, No fuss or bother, immediate replacement ordered from another shop which was sent by courier to arrive on Saturday morning. My gratitude and respect for the staff of this shop has no bounds, my very best wishes and thanks to you Alan

Tried calling 3 days in a row (because I’m out of town) to return an item that was sent to the store. Called and seconds after calling again the line was busy. Honestly just want to return a ring I had sent there, which took 2 weeks…. So I instead bought it online and it took 24hrs to come.

Visited the romford branch to buy my wedding ring and a gold chain, had a fantastic experience with Sharon who was absolutely lovely, explained different things very clearly and found the perfect ring to match my grandma's engagement ring which was passed down to me

Disappointed! Called to reserve an item and asked what time they closed on a Thursday as in Romford it's late night and shops close at 19:00. Confirmed with someone over the phone and she said they close at 19:00, got there for 18:15 and the shutters were down!

I went in to get a necklace repaired as I have insurance and the manager was great help and gave wonderful advice (I think his name was Chris). Would highly recommend this store over other H.Samuels. He really seemed to know what he was talking about.

Staff are so friendly, was supported by a wonderful lady, she new where everything was in the store and about all the jewellery, even what size bracelet would suit best. All they ladies were so friendly. Will definitely visit again soon

Staff here are great & bought a few items , Chris very honest & has looked after me each time I’ve been in, love this guy, never feel rushed or pushed into buying something & he is very good on giving a fair deal

Jackie was really helpful today, letting me look and try on quite a few necklaces and helped me decide on two chains. All the staff were really pleasant and friendly. Would definitely recommend this store.

Brilliant customer service! I have bought a new watch. I have registered for a two years warranty, in case my watch needs repairs, during the future time.

It was ok, the Assistant who helped me once i asked for assistance with my purchase was friendly but others standing around did not try to help me.
