This place is perfect for do it yourselfers. The tools are low priced and above average quality. I have just about everything they sell for projects around my house. I use them once and store them until another project arises. I don't want to buy the best, just need them once. They have a large selection including auto, carpentry, power generation, plumbing, gardening, water pumps, electric and gas engines, security cameras, dollies, safes, workshop tools and anything else that you could possible need. They also stock everything you will need to paint the house. This is a one of a kind store. You will love it.

Harbor Freight is conveniently located on Miramar Rd. My husband and I have been customers for years. Harbor Freight has almost every kind of tool available to get the job done. I went to purchase batteries. The battery selection was large. They had the small CR 2032 up to D cells available and affordable in multi- packs. Alkaline, and lithium, plus rechargeable. You can always find coupons, and sales. This weekend they had their parking lot sale with excellent discounted sale items. It's hard to set a budget when you go there. They have so many items to offer.

Store is clean and well organized. The selection is huge despite some specific items being "out of stock" (only available online). Staff is welcoming and always available for questions/helping. Not giving five stars just because the coupon system now sucks. HF recently changed their promotion system and coupons are rare now. You know, these little coupons which made you make the extra miles to get the items a HF rather than at your neighborhood giant (lowes, home depot, etc.). Difficult to find a reason to drive to remote HF in Miramar without these coupons.

I've been to this store many times. It's one of my favorite stores. My work is right next to it. And they have very good prices on all their tools. Some of their stuff is lower quality than the Home Depot. But most of it is just as good for half the price!!! But this last visit the lady working behind the desk. Was very rude she was skinny white with black hair dyed with red highlights. Horrible attitude didn't help me with anything. But every other visit and every other employee was absolutely great...

Got to love this place. Primarily because of the price. They now have 3 grades of power tools, from just getting your feet wet to "professional". I say professional as I haven't tried them yet. Alot of my cheap stuff are still going strong. Granted you get what you pay for, but it is still a great deal. Definitely sign up for their inside club membership, you'll save a bunch of money. I almost always by the extended warranty as you simply bring in and exchange at the store. They are very good about it.

I am a hobbyist, inventor and product developer here in San Diego. Working on my current project, I have been sourcing caster wheels for quite a while With no success. I remembered Harbor freight tools and went into the store to investigate their selection. To my surprise. They had exactly what I needed not to mention the lowest price I could find anywhere (Amazon included). Store has a great selection of products that are typically in stock with a friendly knowledgeable staff.

Quality really seems to be in the lower side, but prices are not relatively low. It seems as,if you are buying a paper plate, at a melamine plate price, just because you think you don't want to spend on China or Crystal. Fir example it seems a drill bit is cheaper, perhaps half price, but you have to buy four to do the job of one. Certainly still worth it for a quick and small jobs, if you not want to have your tools sit in a shelf and do nothing.

Great prices and decent quality merchandise. Harbor Freight is a great place to get some of those things that you can't find anywhere else. I'm not sure if it's a company policy or just for the locations in California but, they do not carry any hazardous material such as pesticides. They do have a small selection of spray paint. I was able to get replacement wheels for some of my tools and carts, here. I have not seen them anywhere else.

If you have been to one Harbor Freight, you've been to the all. It's all consumer equipment and accessories that well probably break after a few months of use. On my trip I needed a 3-in suction and discharge hose for a gas-powered water pump. Luckily they had what I needed, and I was able to grab the last two in their inventory. They made sure to mention a check out that these items could not be returned, even if I did not open them.

The prices have gone up recently on a lot of things and a lot more items are itc (paid membership) discount only. Some things like gloves may not be entirely their fault but still hurts. Growing up I used to mail order from them all the time as none were close and I only dreamt of shopping in a b&m one day and that experience still does not disappoint..still pretty much the best bang for your buck on most of their tools.

I came here for their electric fly swatter my bf bought which works really well. Came by to get myself one. They change it to the Harbor Freight brand. It looks identical but the original one that my bf bought works. The Harbor freight one is slightly different at the trigger push button. Theirs is a circle button. Original has a square button..only the original one works. Its the one with No Brand name on it.

First time to this store and I found everything on my list (watch repair kit, needle point files, scissors and pliers) all within 5-8min with no problems (and I get lost in a paper bag). The employees were friendly and very helpful, great attitudes. The store itself is large, clean and well lit. Already used my watch repair kit which worked perfectly. Better than anticipated. Will be back!

Took a coworker there so we could purchase a small transfer pump. I normally purchase from the big retailers, but now I will be considering doing more of my purchasing with Harbor Freight. Their prices were 1/2 of the cost of what I've been paying. Tools were of equal value, and the expendable items were an even better value for the price. Happy to have saved at least $50 that day.

Staff was friendly. Willing to help but not pushy if you are just browsing which is nice. This place has a decent selection and is pretty cheap. The thing with harbor freight is to do your research. You can find solid tools at a good price but you can also end up with a cheap sub part tool. Look at a few sources for reviews and there are plenty of solid deals to take advantage of.

We all know that HF has budget tools, but they are a tremendous value. I use tools every day for home and auto use (not professional), and HF tools are very hard to beat for the money you spend. Not all are superior quality, but many are very, very good. Do your research and the find the tools that are great, and you can't go wrong with HF tools. I love this place!

I know that a lot of people believe that Harbor Freight Tools are poor quality but have you paid attention to what most of the stores are selling? If you buy anything from HBT you have a 90 day period to return it and besides many of the things that I have purchased there are far superior to items costing 3-4 times the price. Give them a try!!

Solid place, bought what I needed, got in and out easy. Store has a lot of stuff I normally don’t shop for. This place also has better prices than what I’ve seen at similar products. I think they likely have generally lower prices then other similar establishments. I will likely come back if I am looking for something in this category.

Went over to get a floor jack. They didn't have it, but quickly referred me to two other nearby stores that does. The employees there tried to be helpful, and encouraged me to bring my "pick up tag" to the other store so I don't have to look for the same product again there. Well stocked, has many nice tools. Plenty of parking.

I always get looked at but never help by employees. And cashiers are always short and pretty much rude with me every time even tho today they were quite chatty with the customer before me, and a large queue waiting. Can't help to feel more aware of the color of my skin for some reason ‍♂️ …

I am greatful for Harbor Freight. I buy solar panels, foam, silicone, tools here. Luther handled my extended warranty on my solar panels very proffesionally. I totally abused my solar panels with my cartoon of grandosity. Luther got me new one again under provisions of extended warranty insurance. Thank you.

Great deals, excellent staff at the Miramar location who are willing to help and who will roam the floor to offer help. Great tools, ranging from entry-level stuff to a new house brand of highline hand tools that are excellent. also a great place to find solar power project materials and led off-road lights.

I liked my visit here, spent about 220.00 dollars here for my welding gear. And it was worth it because cheap deals and nice people. But it would be nice if they're was a closer one for the low income to help them. I had to get a ride from my boss/girl to be able to go here. But safe place and area.

Great staff. Tool selection is vast. From garden to auto shop, welding to carpentry. Prices are very competitive. Lifetime warranty on hand tools. If you are a member of their discount program, the prices are even better. If you sign up for the mailer, they have freebies too!

The employees were not very cordial in initial greeting or helpful when I asked a question. The store wasn't very busy, and even after asking for a specific item, no one showed any Customer Service by showing me where it was. In frustration, I left. I won't be coming back.

Needed to return/exchange defective tools. No problem. Fast and fair. Purchased 2 more just to be on the safe side. Love these long flex head ratchets. Even love the fixed short ones. 3/8 one side 1/4 on the other. You need these tools if you wrench for a living!!!!

They have everything there you could think of for tools and so much more. The guy who helped me knew his stuff and helped me pick out a great present for my hubby. It's clean in there with wide isles and everyone was nice .

I don’t know what the big hype is about this place! Yeah it’s cool and all but when it comes down to it Home Depot is way way better! And then Lowe’s is it as well towering over! But I guess all in all it’s not too shabby!

Great place to find cheaper tools and "toys". The quality isn't as bad as some reviews make it sound, though it is per product. So make your research sand sometimes just walk down the isles and discover little things...

Went in twice to look for end mills. Employees didn't even know what they are and just pointed in the general direction of where to look. Limited parts for welding, not the right type of TiG gear for Maketory.

Great location for this store. Went there to buy a dremel for my moms art projects. Thought it might be helpful. The associates were helpful. The store was clean. Cashier was nice and pleasant.

Nice selection, although there are holes in their inventory. Like having wall patches but not carrying wall putty. They do have a nice tool selection ranging from cheap to expensive.

Great selection, everything is in stock and super helpful employees. The management is outstanding and is hands-on and cares about customers needs. Delivery was on time and smooth!

My go to place for tools. If your not a contractor why waste your money on expensive high end tools? This is the place for any tinkerers, crafters and DIY people.
