The worst experience ever. My engine blew on Thanksgiving, on my way to Brevard, last year. I bought a refurbished engine and wanted Crane Automotive to do an engine swap and figure out what led to the engine overheating. They said that the heat was caused by the water pump (which I have never heard of one going bad in my life) and they will replace it, asking with all of the gaskets on the engine. After the engine swap, they said that I was having transmission problems which sounded rediculous because I never had transmission problems, especially with a Honda. I drove the car 200 miles back home and brought it to the Honda dealership for a transmission diagonals. The dealership quickly identified that the engine was not correctly installed to the transmission and it they simply connected it. Everything was fine with the car. I called crane and said that the problems were due to an incorrect installation. I am not going to bring them to court, I just want them to reimburse me for the diagnosis free. The owner of Crane Automotive replied that the Honda dealership was lying and they were not going to pay 70 out of the 2 thousand that I gave them. A few weeks later, to after the coolant leaked out, my car overheated again. I brought it in for a diagonals and I was informed that the radiator was bad and had a huge leak, I still had the original water pump, and the original cause for overheating was the radiator, not the water pump. Crane Automotive lied to meet again. First, they said that I had a bad water pump, when I didn't. The cause of the overheating was the radiator. I do not even think that they Crane Automotive looked into the cause for the overheating. A while ago, I noticed really bad oil leaks. I understand that oil leaks happen and many leaks can be solved. My problem with the oil leaks is that means that Crane Automotive lied to me again! They did not replace a single gasket, like they said they were going to. Crane Automotive did not do a single thing that they said they were going to do. Instead, they lied about it and when I was able to prove they the error was made on Crane Automotive's part, they denied any responsibility. They do not know how to run an honest business. Instead, they bill customers for services they do not perform! I would have taken them to court over the transmission but driving 200+ miles, back and forth, for how ever long the court case was not worth the $70 for the diagnosis. The only thing I know is that if I encounter another problem with something that is their fault, I will taken them to court because I have saved every receipt since the engine swap. That means diagnosis, repair, and service that has been performed on the engine. My lawyer said that it will be a very quick court case. I just need to have the time to do it.

Well today I went to harbor freight to purchase 2 new tires for my trailer I was paying cash and I dont like giving out my personal information at will. I was asked to give a number and a name which I declined. Then I was told that it’s necessary for me to be able to purchase tires and unless I showed the manager John Reinke my identification for the ncDot I could not make my purchase. And I was ultimately asked to leave the store when I contested him and explained it’s a violation of my constitutional rights. I then went one mile down the road to northern tool and made the same exact purchase without giving up my 4th amendment right to privacy. I’ve never been treated so poorly by an establishment in my life. And when I called back to speak with the manager again to clarify his name I was told by the initial employee the police were waiting for me so I returned to the store and they were in fact not waiting for me.

i stop by on 11/03/2021 , i was walking around the store looking for the item i need and among all the the employees working at the time no body offer to help...finally when i found that item and walked to check out there was two register open at that time 4:08 PM i stood by waiting on the left side register and there was a lady on the right hand side register it was not on line it was two line but when the cashier on the left register finished with the customer he was helping he call for the lady on other side without even saying any thing to me !!! i just want from the management to review the video and see if he did the right thing and let him know that profiling and judging peoples long time gone!!! he needs to help his customers and if there is one line just let the customers know though i'm sure there was two line each on the side of the two register !!!

Amazing, quality customer service here. Went in to find tools that were supposed to come with a purchase I made awhile ago. Asked the manager on duty for some helping finding them. Unfortunately they don’t individually sell the tools that I was looking for. So rather than apologizing and telling me he can’t to anything about it, he took the tools that were supposed to be included with my initial purchase from one of the pre-packaged boxes and gave them to me free of charge. He didn’t hesitate or ask for any proof of purchase/verification. It was extremely kind of him and Harbor Freight Tools will continue to earn my business because of their exceptional customer service.

Horrible... No A/C to bring with. But the did have some fans on .... I came in, chose my furniture, the order was promised to be delivered same day, an hour later I was informed that it won't be until thr next day. The next day came and no call. I finally called back. I was told the order had Ro be picked up from Augusta but they will deliver the following day. Let's not discuss me taking off work to be present for the phantom delivery. I ultimately cancelled my order and went in to the store to ensure I had the confirmed reversed transaction. I do not recommend shopping at this location.

Love tools. Looking at them touching them and figuring out what some of them do. Went to get a compressor this time. Prepared to buy that day. There were 4 other people looking at them besides me. One of the guys was with his wife. We were all looking at the same couple of compressor models. But none were priced or were incorrectly priced. Could not find help. Every worker we could see was around the front door waiting to tackle suspected shoplifters I guess. Found a guy to go check prices but he never came back. I just left after awhile...

Was in there for Memorial Day sale, very crowded. I was looking for a specific item but it didn't seem to be in its logical place. Had to find someone on the floor to help locate it. Finding help was almost as difficult as finding my item. Without help, it's doubtful I would have found it. The guy seems to know where everything is. Plenty of stock, and I'm sure the prices were good, but what a madehouse. Still, I think it was worth going out there today. I was in and out inside of half an hour. Recommend for selection if nothing else.

After buying a torque wrench that didn't last through the first cylinder head job, and just eating the cost, and now buying an almost $100 boroscope camera, which flickered out of the box and over two days completely ceased displaying, and upon return they took 25% for a "restocking fee"....I understand them doing that if someine just changes their mind, but having a demonstrably broken product, and charging to return it is bonkers. I have several good tools from harbor, but I'm not rolling the dice anymore. Not for me.

Great place to get tools I bought a Benadryl Hercules sawzall an air compressor band saw and a whole bunch of other miscellaneous tools including an air compressor had them over 2 years Stewart's roofing but just remember always get the extended warranty well worth it they're oscillating tool is great don't buy the 10 $11 one get the $20 one and if they still have it go to Lowe's get the bluebird kit that comes with about 829 blades including one for tile and grout for about $17 cuz I normally charge $78 per blade

I have been to many Harbor Freight stores for many years. This place has the absolute worst customer service with the most unfriendly staff. I had to inconvenience the worker a second time to ask them to show me where the product I had already asked about actually was. With a slight eye roll and sigh, they found it wasn't even where they told me. The cashier was as unfriendly also. They weren't busy, so I can't blame it on "a rush". They all had really bad attitudes. My husband and I couldn't leave quick enough.

I came in to buy a tool chest. I found the supervisor on the floor and told her what I wanted. Twice, she said she'd check the back for me, to see what they had on stock. Twice i stood there for 20 minutes waiting for her. Twice I found her doing something else, having completely ignored me. So I left and bought one from Home Depot, where they were happy to help me, and even loaded it in my van for me. They don't want my business? No problem! There are a dozen other hardware and tool stores in the area that do.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Large selection of products at reasonable prices. The biggest issue I have with harbor freight as a whole is it seems their products for the most part is definitely on the lower end of the spectrum and usually only last for maybe a couple of uses for the most part. It is a great place to buy tools though if it's something you don't use everyday. Overall satisfied with all harbor freight tool stores

Great selection and great prices. Very helpful staff. This was a better experience than the 'big box' stores. They had what I needed, and then some - and I was pleased to see the reasonable prices on items that were inflated at other stores (e.g. generators). The store even called me after the fact to advise of a promotion that saved me $80.00 ... AFTER the fact, and applied same. This store is a keeper!!

These folks went above and beyond what anyone would expect to help me. I had been to several stores based on website inventory saying it was in stock only to find nothing. I called this store and asked before making the drive. They put me on hold and physically checked them held it with my name on it. Once I arrived it was a smooth very friendly transaction. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Bought a new Torque wrench only to find out when I opened it, it was broken.. The handle was really hard to turn and the calibration was way off. Took it back to trade only to get another broken one.. I'm done with Harbor Freight and their garbage tools. Everything from there is always a problem.. If I were them, I would shut it down and call it a loss.. "NEVER AGAIN"

Great customer service! I called to check up to see if they had an item left and asked for them to put one aside since i was driving 30min away and the gentleman said he would call back if they were out other wise it would be at the counter. It was at the counter when I got there ready to go. I love it when associates are so helpful! Thank you guys for being great!

I wanted to buy my husband an air compressor for Father's Day and they said I needed a coupon the lady was nice she help me look for the coupon on line...but yeah because I didn't have a little piece of paper she wouldn't sell me the air compressor for the price this is really old school. They lost the sale because of a piece of a paper coupon!

Staff was not familiar with the store have.i called ahead, spoke to one clerk, he got the assistance from the store manager. The store manager assured me they had what I needed. Arriving, it took 3 minutes to know neither knew what I wanted or needed.store us well stocked, but the staff I worked with is clueless. Go to home depot or lowes.

Harbor freight is great!! The staff are polite and helpful. This this location in particular. I only 3 stars .. Because( I swear ) every single time I go in there there is a nerdy looking black guy not wearing a store uniform who is always just there .... That store is just too small for a secret shopper It's rather insulting.

This store has bargains also if you mess with stuff ,as my children say you can find a lot of little projects to do with the goods in this store. I call it a gap store because I am not a professional and I just sometimes need a tool a trap or some plastic ties, or a cart to just push my projects around from craft to craft.

Absolutely useless. They claim to have product in the store, only to find out once I get there that the 4 available that the website states us available isn't accurate. They were rude and I will not be shopping at this location anymore. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time at this location. Horrible experience.

Need tools cheap? This is the place. I hate going to the HD to buy that one off tool that's very expressive. Harbor Freight tools are of decent quality and the staff is very not. The store is clean, neat and well stocked. Although the last few times I've been there it's been really HOT, but I don't let that stop me ...

I have been in the this store 3 times in 15 minutes they sell an unusable air compressor no hose no fittings no nothing and you have to play guess who with your parts . So I keep having to start building it in the parking lot and come back for parts God forbid I thought they were going to sell me a usable compressor

The staff and managers here have been very nice and helpful whenever I needed to check if an item was in stock before making the trip over (it's like 45 minutes from me) and also answering any questions I have on certain items especially since power tools are so new to me. Would definitely recommend this store.

I just bought an opened box item about a week ago and try to use it today and it wasn't working properly..... I came back to the store to let them know that the item wasn't working properly and he said that I only had 5 days to return the item Never going back or buy something that's been used ....

This is my store. I am big fan of Harbor Freight as I can usually get quite a deal on tools relative to Lowe's or Home Depot. The Inside Track Club is worth it if you plan to even occasionally buy some decently priced tools (the semi-annual 20% off anything in the store makes it totally worth it).

I like the deals and coupons you find in your local newspapers. The stores are packed with every tool you would ever need and the prices are even better. The people that work there are very knowledgeable where to find your item needed and Harbor Freight hires people with service as a priority .

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. If you're not a member of all their little Club things or whatever you ain't getting the price that it's advertised at on the Shelf( when I work retail whatever the price said that's what the customer got it for. it's just a SICK joke it's not worth even going in the door

Large selection of items for a workable toolbox. Not professional grade, though I use many of their products professionally. The price difference is HUGE. I use their jacks, sockets, torx bits, heat guns, welding blankets and other items professionally (everyday use), with total satisfaction.

This harbor freight is great location for grabbing the tools or anything hardware related. However their staff is not as knowledgeable to where the particular inventory is, I have seen other locations with better assistance. Their magnetic phone mounts are the best bang for the buck.

For the prices, there's really no complaining about the products here. Recently re-upped on their Pittsburgh 3-ton, low profile floor jack that lasted me 3+ years of heavy use (I'm a mobile automotive technician). Customer service is adequate. Store is fairly clean and inventoried.

I'm always forgetting to shop here so today when I was smart enough to remember I still spent almost three hundred bucks there but if I would have bought all of that from another store I would have spent closer to 5 or 6 that's just crazy store was clean and the staff was very nice

Had to wait in line a long time. The first guy in line was making an exchange and making it difficult. Even with several other people in line waiting for a LONG time. The manager or none of the others opened another register even as we stood patiently. The cashier was friendly.

Went in today before closing needing a part urgently because the part I had before broke. Cashier was so helpful in getting me the new part then told me it was free replacement due to lifetime warranty. Very kind and helpful staff. Good selection as well. Will be coming back

Sold me a torch that had a faulty valve and spit out gas, endangering my safety and causing a huge fire hazard. Tried to return it and they said it was non refundable??? All I wanted was a safe replacement. Place sells junk. Yea it's cheap, but you get what you pay for.

The place is small and tight, fully stocked inventory. Good, friendly and welcoming customer service. In the middle of a busy plaza. Their slogan is quality tools for ridiculously low prices which truly explains everything. Next time you need tools, give them a shot.

My new ffavorite store. Has all kinds of equipment for a reasonable price. Granted, some of the tools are somewhat cheaply made. But, not everyone wants to buy a $50 hammer. They always have coupons for merchandise and the employees always seem to be very helpful.

Good rewards program and super knowledgeable sales people...I don't go to this establishment that often but when I do it is always for a tool that I need immediately...They always have what I need in stock and I'm directed to exactly which aisle I can find it...

Harbor freight is an excellent place where tools that you only need a few times or tools that you don't use all the time for work. They have a huge variety of power tools and common need tools nuts bulbs etc gloves

Other than sometimes check out problems, this is good store. Staff is friendly and helpful, just could maybe have couple of people on check out instead of one having to do the register and field the phone calls.
