Every time I go the service is extremely slow and the last time I went some young girl was very rude only wanting to help all the men in line and honestly kept making me go in the back of the line trying to tell me how her line was closed as I saw her right in front of me helping everyone else that was a man besides me I don't know what her problem was or why she was more interested trying to pick up man than actually doing her job unfortunately I never got her name but I do know how she looks like but it seems like they just hire anybody for that place. I was just disappointed cuz all I was trying to get was just some batteries and she wasn't even busy there was only one cashier open when she was clearly free able to open up the other cashier and had the nerve to tell me that it was closed but again she would help all the men that were in line only. I was just getting off from work I was just trying to hurry up and go home she was very lucky I wasn't rude or loud and ugly back to her instead I stay professional and just ignored her and waited patiently in the other line that took forever on just one to two people

Harbor Freight is a great store. I enjoy browsing and usually end up buying something. Today I bought an air compressor. Had to wait for one of the workers to bring it from the back. He took his sweet time, stopped at the office for a chat, brought it to the front of the register and was asked by another worker to do something else. He told me to wait for him to help me. After a few minutes, around 10, I started to take it out myself. The cashier stopped me because it was on one of their furniture dollies. Told me that I couldn't take it out of the store and that if I would just wait He would be back to help me. Look, where I grew up the customer was served first! So I picked it up off their dollie and pushed my way through the door. Mind you, I'm currently going to physical therapy for my back. Now I'm down for the count again. It might be worth the drive to a different store. These workers could care less about their customers.

Cheaper doesn't always mean the worst. There are more than a few deals and steals, specially when it comes to not overpaying at a big brand store. With that said there are also some things that aren't my favorite. Like the 5mil nitrile gloves break way too easily, however the 7mil work great. Im glad you guys carry film sanding discs. When it comes to fine finishing regular sandpaper isn't always the best solution, though I like the fact that you carry higher than 400# grit on sanding discs. I can always find something I want to try at a cheaper price than fully committing to it. The new store layout looks more organized. To be honest I'm only giving you a 4 because there is some stuff like the more expensive synthetic paint brush that thankfully I caught... but the purple dye came out into a finish I was mixing. the brush withstands the solvent but the dye doesn't. However I still enjoy the hidden gems that i find.

They wonder why they have such a bad reputation. I had bought two airless tires and wheels for a 15 gal spray rig I have that I am tried of fixing flats. The ones I bought only lasted a few days before one broke the hub off. It looks like it is pressed in and not even welded. I took that one back and exchanged it. Next time I used my sprayer the same thing happened again. The manager had no concerns about my time lost or the two trips back to the store because of the junky products they sell. I was only asking to get credit for these and buy two that might be a little better., but he would not do it. He said it had been more than 90 days. The company would like to have a better reputation but with bad managers that know nothing about customer service they will never get there. I will never go bad again nor will I even recommend them to anyone.

Decent deals on tools, in store warranty. Not the highest quality tools, but for the price, its a great place to get those tools you need to knock out a single job. Its also a good place to get those little items for projects, like wheels, rolling carts, and fittings to air lines ect. They offer a decent warranty on their hand tools, with in store replacement for broken or damaged items. You can also score some decent deals in the open box clearance area of the store. Freebies are another plus, just pickup the ad at the door, or get the coupons on your phone by visiting the website. Its a great way to load up on spare scissors, led lights, multi-meters and tape measures. Its worth a visit if you've never visited, its a great place for Do It Yourselfers.

Harbor Freight is a great place to get tools and supplies for building / repairing on the cheap. This particular location is well organized and maintained. An item I was looking for was not on the shelf and when I inquired at checkout they quickly checked stock and pulled one immediately to keep things moving. Very good service. Best to price check and read reviews of items while you are in the store as some items are either not worthwhile purchases or are not competitively priced enough to justify the reduced quality. In this instance I picked up 6 wood chisels for 9.99 that were decently honed out of the box and appear to maintain an edge as well as my solitary Kobalt. Great deal on these and other items, as always though, caveat emptor.

One of my favorite tool stores (at: Walzem Rd.) buy fair prices not just "The Brand" $$, look, like my cordless drill, I bought it in 2016 and still working, the angle grinder, 6" bench grinder, my 7" polisher, sander, the rotary tool kit, polishing bonets,screws, AA & AAA batteries, flashlights, and many parts and hand tools I have bought at: "Harbor Freights" Let me highly recommend it, I have years using my tools for different projects and they never let me down, if you need tools you must go there, first you will save a lot and second they have a variety you can choose from your budget, big 5 golden stars from a very happy customer!

Absolutely the worst Harbor Freight I've been to. After 30 minutes of searching for the item I finally found an employee. I ask him where the item is and he said, "I think it's up in the front corner along the wall." I walk up to area and don't see it can't find it. Usually the employee accompanies me and directs me to where the product would be. This isn't a big place items should be simple to find especially if you work there. After 15 minutes more of searching and walking up and down each aisle I gave up. I went to another Harbor Freight location in town that did a better job of helping me.

Rushed out of store half hour before it was closed. Always feel like their lost prevention hover over everyone. I never feel like they are happy to have customers. But its a discount store so come on what do you expect. They have a better tool selection then the one in New Braunfels. And the store is always clean. Though they are slow to get registers open if a rush of people are there. And it takes a while if you need anything not on a shelf. Never had anyone tell me there name and now that we all wear masks the help factor is at a all time low pretty much.

It’s always a pleasure to shop in this store. I was looking for a specific water pump on the last visit. When ai got to the store, there were non left on the shelf. I asked someone for assistance, this guy pulled out his scanner and it showed zero. He then said that they had recently gotten a truck and that he would check that shipment. He found one!! He gave it to me and was really excited that he found it before I left the store. It might seem small, but it’s the little things like that, that makes a customer feel special.

The staff are very helpful, friendly, and considerate of their costumers. If they were not pointing or assisting to what I needed they also brought to the the front, as well to the vehicle, as well made sure that I had someone at home to assist me. Now that's what I'm talking about! Harbor Freight Tools, you have awesome employees keep up the the great work. I they work hard and probably don't get recognition but they should, especially in a time like now and they are working extra hard. Bless them and stay safe...

This store is a joke.. Manager sucks.. Complain to Manager saying im touching her.. false.. Her getto response told me all I needed to know... instead I returned the 200 and something purchase.. only to find out my debit had to be refunded with cash.. put asided as long as she could... only to send refund out in ones.. classic getto go to.. Ms Amy you are indeed a classless pos... bye Thank you for the girl they made complete the return.. To bad she didn't talk to me first Might still have this customer

Its been a while, months, since my last visit. It has many useful items, but something appears to be amist. Is it the discount coupons, the monthly catalog, or the flyers, we don't get any more? I see the tool brands are changing, are they for the better? The prices have surely jump higher. But, It failed to greet me with sales and bargains of low and discount prices, as that was what the stores WERE known for. Maybe it wants to change it image?

I have been going to HF for years. All across the country, the staff is pretty consistent with three friendliness and helpfulness. This last year and half have seen them scale back on a lot of the bargains and the sales no longer include smaller items. The $.99 tape measure would drive me to the store only to have me walk out $50-60 lighter. Unless there's something I absolutely need, there's no reason for me to casually stroll around the store.

Husband and I were glad that we stopped by here. Were able to find some good quality clamps that weren't unreasonably priced. This store has so much to look at. They have a lifetime warranty on all their hand tools. The store is organized and kept up on. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have great prices on most of their items. Will definitely go again. Will stop here before Lowe's or Home Depot from now on. Would recommend to others.

Just bought 2 46x18.5 9 drawer tool boxes. Trust me, I shopped around a lot b4 I bought. Craftsman has a similar box for exactly twice the price as Harbor Freight. I feel like these fit the bill for quality and especially price. Yukon isn't a well advertised box so you'll have search once in their website. Now that I have mine I can share the information. They weren't easy to get and while some stock them, my store didn't.

Wish it were bigger, but I still love coming here to find my quality items. I do think they should get quicker cashiers or maybe add more registers. There's no reason I should wait in like for 20+min. when it's not even busy. Staff is neither friendly or rude. They're almost ghostly, but I'm okay with that. I'm sure they'd be happy to help if they were asked to. Great sales & prices. Usually very clean and organized

They're in the middle of a remodel of the floors. Things are piled up and staff is doing their best. Could not find what I was looking for. Did find the items at another Harbor freight store in another city. Clerk there told me that I was lucky to find the solar charger in stock, supply chain issues for them as well. I'm sure the stars will increase as the chaos decreases. Good variety and prices.

In the past month I have bought 3 transfer pumps from this location (2 together then one a week later) only to find out a week or so later that they’re all defected. Ofc there’s the return process if defected but I work for a company who needs these pumps for a day to day use all day. Waste of time to buy pumps from here and now we’re struggling to do our jobs because we relied on these pumps.

I love this place. I even have a membership there. All this time I thought I was getting a discount because they ask for my number and I've asked, "I get a discount right, because my info comes off my number right?" "Yes sir." Was always the reply I received. Until today. I've purchased LOTS of merchandise here. Whole paychecks at times. Now... I'm not so sure. Very disappointed!

Not pleased with my visit at all . The cashiers were beyond amazing but the management team needs to do better. I went in for a visit and this large woman name aubi or audi was extremely rude to me. She even talked about my disabled mother as we were walking out. I love this place but not my experience this time . She needs to get reprimanded or fired. I feel extremely offended.

I've been shopping with harbor freight since back in the early '80s when they were a mail order catalog joint out of Lancaster California. They keep getting better I keep coming back... I was back again today and yes they just keep getting better and better. Did leave a great chunk of money with them but I got a great deal too, and a lot of stuff essential stuff mind you

One if my homes away from home spots. Plenty of parking out front. Store is well organized, Isles are categorized and prices are clearly marked. This makes it easier to find products. Staff are very knowledageable; although, they can definitely use more help. Good prices and different brands on some of the same type products to give you a choice of quality.

For tools, gardening, or any hardware/electrical for home/work, I always check this store first. I just love this place. The staff is very courteous and the prices are awesome! I always get notified of their sales event and I even get their flyer mailed to me. Everytime I shop I make sure I bring those with me and I always come home with a free item.

Worst service… try to return a trash pump… it need to be completely empty of liquids.. because the guy look inside and look wet could not complete return… had my little daughters with me and they needed the bathroom .. they responded they closed the bathroom for the day… it was 7:30pm store closes 9pm.. worst costumer service at the walzem store..

I was told they carry Black & Decker battery and was confirmedto that online.. when i got there I walked up and down every isle to find someone to help me. I finely I had to wait in the check out line to find out they don't carry that brand any more. Plus they started a membership where if you belong you get a better price. I'll never go back.

Managers don’t know left from right up from down. They don’t even know their own warranty policy on tools. ‍ there has only been one person there that has properly helped me. One employee attempted to but the manager shut it down because he doesent know better. Lifetime warranty is lifetime warranty not up to how you feel that day …

Good atmosphere. Lots of selection, good prices compared to name brand products. Save money and time, shop here. Even found unusual items you will not find at most stores. Only thing I noticed was the long lines at checkout, that's because of the deals, everyone is going to Harbor Freight Tools. Checkout the website, if you don't believe.

I love shopping at this place. And I'm not much of a handyman, I just like to have tools that make me look like I know what I'm doing. The red tag sale is pretty good. I've gotten some nice equipment at a reasonable price, and every time I went into the store when I needed help there was someone there. That's always a good thing

Great selection. You cant beat their prices. Establishment is extremely clean and staff is nice and knowledgable. It doesnt disappoint. Now get here, get what you need and fix your mothers house up and make it look like hollywood. They definitely have the tools to do so. Keep up the great work. Ill definitely be back.

While it seemed a bit run down and understaffed, there were quite a few good deals and some interesting items not found normally found in your traditional hardware outlets. I did not plan to buy anything. I was just here to check then place out but I was 100 bones lighter walking back out to the parking lot.

With a store that is a warehouse style, who made the decision to have ⅓ of the store for stock? Why would you make it more difficult to get the product than is nessasary? Now, I am forced to get an employee to go to an area of the store to see if you have the product I need. So unnecessary...

Went to the store on Walzem. Whats going on? Businesses shuttered, abandoned buildings back in the day it was clean and bussling with activity but to see that area now is a shock. Harbor Freight had everything I was looking for. Bargans down every isle. Staff was friendly overall a good day.

Great place to find some one time use tools others are as good if not better than the name brand stuff. Sad they no longer do the 20 percent off coupons anymore now you have to go when stuffs on sale. Included pictures of the items that are worth getting and haven't failed me in 3yrs now.

Place was messy. Had to wait in line at checkout. Only 1 person working at register, until another employee opened 2nd register. I almost left empty handed, as the item I was looking for was located in 2 different locations in the store. I spotted it on my way to the exit, in relief.

The employees were very attentive and helpful. I am a novice with tools, but with the crash course I received from an employee at this Harbor Freight I felt like a pro when operating my Disk Grinder. Thanks Harbor freight, you gave me the confidence to take on more projects.

Good deals, good tools, good service. Had to return an impact wrench today because it wouldn't even get the lugnuts of my RV tires. Swapped it out for a stronger one with no problem. Clerk was very helpful and even found the coupon for the one I traded up to.

70% of the time it works every time! It sucks harbor freight no longer does coupons... also if you buy a cement mixer and it comes in a suspiciously small but very heavy box... stop and pick up a few adult beverages to drink during assembly. You'll need them.

I enjoy the new line of tool plus some of there other electric and air tools the store has along with some of there accessories. They're not name brand but some of there tools are just as rugged and durable. The sale prices are great along with the service.

Great place to buy nitrile gloves in size small. They are hard to find. 10 months later... I had to go behind the counter to get my own receipt because the employee walked off while I was swiping my card to pay and they never returned . Very strange

Harbor freight has good cheap stuff. Their lifetime replacement guarantees on tools and extended warranties makes the store great. Read the reviews on the product your going to buy and make informed decisions about purchases and you can't go wrong.

First time here at this Harbor Freight tools and the selection is pretty good. Good prices compared to the larger home improvement stores, but remember, you get what you pay for. staff was friendly and helpful. They also have a good return policy.

One or two cashiers, no one in the store to help with items not on the shelves (but in stock). Line all the way to the back of the store... terrible waste of afternoon. Sad, because I usually appreciate finding good deals on good tools here.

Hurry Quick the line will get super long at random. Was there for not even 3 minutes. Line went from 2 people to about 10.. and getting help was difficult, 7 workers I asked and no one knows where a power drill kit is... good grief...

I really like the value I get at Harbor Freight Tools, but I'm disappointed that they have discontinued some of there own products with and making it almost impossible to contact them to try and get any replacement parts for them.

Was very disappointed! I am an ITC member so I get emails on sales and deals. Everything I went there for was out of stock. They didn't even have the free bucket offered to members. Not the first time this has happened either!

Helpful crew, but not enough Cashiers! Only 2 were available and the line never had less than 4 customers in it! But easy parking, and I asked for one product and got a perfect answer. Knowledgeable people are always a plus!

Always a good place to go for low price tools and I have found a lot of them can be quality as well, but now they lost a $140 ladder I returned and are not really trying to find out what happened to it just the run around

Went everywhere to find a set of shackles for my towbar and found them by chance at Harbor Freight for the cheapest price and 9500 LB rating... I really was impressed better parts and much cheaper price

I don't think this store got the message 2 years ago that Harbor Freight was going to stock accessories for all equipment they sell. Hmmmm. I only saw one wood lathe and no lathe tools at all.
