It's a small storefront location. We had to pay $10 to get in. Masks were not enforced. Bartender service was handled by 3 bartenders. One of them acted as a hostess as well for those patrons who sat at the tables. The dj stood in the front by the small dance floor. DJ Rob was okay, but the speakers probably should have had a sound check before anyone arrived. You could hear the beat, but the words were faint. The dj mixed old and new r & b and hip hop music. The crowd was cool and mellow. Not one argument or fight in sight. There are only two stalls in the small ladies' restroom area. All in all not a bad place to be.

The food was great. Live DJ was a nice touch. Cover charge $10 for entrance. Not sure what we got for that, maybe security? That was on point. Definitely felt safe there. Bar and drinks were not up to par for that cover charge. They didn't make mixed drinks. Is there a shortage of trained bartenders too? I don't know, it's been years since I went out. Overall, the establishment was very spacious and a small dance floor kept the night far from boring. But with the title bar, I feel like they should have a better variety of mixed drinks, we could only get long Island Ice Tea, straight shots or bottled beer. It was odd.

I really love going to this place good food good drinks nice music to dance floors to DJs mean this place is very nice I would take my mom here and my dad that's how comfortable I am when I'm in there I'm comfortable enough to take my parents along because it's a very nice atmosphere people are very pleasant very tight security more than enough seating and it's free before 11 so every Everybody try to get on down to Harper's Bar and Grill on specially on Saturday nights in the anniversary party is coming up so that is going to be a nice one too

I attended the Trap, Paint, Sip event on Feb 7th, 2019 and I had a great time. The food was delicious and the drinks was on point also. The DJ was great real enjoyed the variety of music that he play for our group. We took group pictures of ourselves and our paintings. Super fun laid back atmosphere most certainly will be attended other events. The next event should be Poetry, Art and Sip now that would be fun too. Not a person for the nightlife but it was a nice chance for me to step out of my comfort zone, I didn't like the fact that the majority of the ladies who were out to have a good time spent the whole night dancing at there tables or with their other female friends, the bartender did everything she could to make any drink you suggested and if she didn't know she made it priority to find out, big plus in my book, my cousin loved the wings and the long island ice tea .

People were dressed well and friendly. The bartenders were amazing (this is an understatement!!!!) Even with a shift change they dealt with it seamlessly. The place was clean. The food was above average for bar food. The drinks were tasty. Food was priced inexpensively. The cost of the drinks was made up for by their strength, quality of liquor used, and friendly attitude. I recommend this hole in wall place. I attended between 5 and 6.

Visited the newly remodeled events room. Due to the table set up the dance floor was smaller. Also a new menu had alot of selections with higher cost. Wasn't happy to pay $14 for 4 large chicken wings and fries.

SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! Carlos Harper is a terrible businessman!!! Had my party on Sat and had to call and text him for 4 days straight to get my deposit back. He didn't answer the phone and/or kept making excuses. Finally went to the bar on Thursday and had to wait for 2hrs to get my money because he didnt have it and had to call someone to bring the money to me all while he hid in the kitchen.

0 Stars. Our company completed contracted work for Mr. Harper and he has failed to pay any amount and is now failing to reply to any of our multiple calls, texts, letters, or emails sent to try to contact him. Unbelievable. This review is a last resort attempting to contact Harper before more serious measures are taken. Please respond to our constant attempts at contacting you and get this issue resolved.

The security guard at the door is rude and nasty. This is a bar that older people go to and he acts like he is talking to kids. My cousin and I was so turned off by his actions that we just left and went somewhere else. I will not give you my business anymore. Update...I did return months later and that same security guard was really nice and respectful. I appreciate that. Thank you.

If you're interested in a small bar with a club atmosphere, this is a great place to visit. They also have a banquet hall next door to host parties and events! Had my sister's bridal shower and baccalaureate party here! It was great! There was a door inside to go into club, so we had our party and got to "raid" the bar a couple times during the night! Loved it!

The chicken wings are fire however the the drinks are overpriced and In plastic cups. Paid $9 for a Virgin cocktail in a small plastic cup it was just orange juice and grenadine!

they didn't let me in saying they had a problem ... i only been there 4 times... never caused any problems... they have this 1 security guy that harasses people... i had just had a party there june 28th where over $400 was spent to rent out the big side... i will never spend another dollar there... I was racially profiled at black owned club

$10 dollars for 5 wings and 2 fries. This is why black business don't get the right support. They over charge. And why is it 10 dollars to get in? Literally the size of my living room. Oh and if you fat don't go to the bathroom you'll be in Saw 8 trying to get out. And after 9 or 10 you only have to be 21 to get in. Will never go back.

Everything time I visit Harper it’s a vibe. No matter if I’m just relaxing watching a game or ready to have a good time. Harper staff always take good care of me. Definitely recommend!

Went to a matinee and can't believe they were NOT allowed to run tip books. Duh that's what u do at a matinee so after a drink which was a good one and $5 special I left. I do love me some DJ King who was the Dj but will not support another matinee there and hope they made a profit. Get it together owner!

Was there for a birthday party in the banquet room. Nice big room clean. The chairs were all mismatched. Some staff (not all) was somewhat rude. Appeared that the night club DJ was contending with the hired birthday party DJ to see who's music was the loudest. Overall we did have a good time.

Cozy...The Servers and Bartenders are always Friendly.. Drink and Food Specials are Fantastic...

A small night spot for the older mature crowd. The music is great the service was wonderful don't expect high end this is a place to relax come casual meet friends for sinks and good music no hassles. Very basic decor. Gets a bit crowded after11pm. The food is good bar soul food

Security Carlos Is Too Serious For NO Reason, The MF Put His Hands On Me And Made A BIG Scene For NO Reason, Just Ruined What WAS A Good Time With My Family and For My Birthday. On A Good Note It Is Relaxing, Fun With Great Music. The Owner Was VERY Nice.

Crowded....couldn't get a drink...security wouldn't let me stand by the bar to order a drink...told the waitress what I wanted to drink...she had everyone's drink but mine....I will never go back and I paid $20 to get in....horrible experience

Nice spot to hang out at once in a while. My only issue is the ladies bathroom. Does this place only have 1 bathroom area? The ladies bathroom has only 1 stall. If this is the only bathroom area I suggest the ladies bathroom be expanded.

Fish taste way better than the chicken over all good drinks and nice staff

To be just, I do not drink alcohol. I can't assess the bar service. I was only here to wish a friend well. Not my type of environment. The parking lot needs lighting. This a place that you will have to experience for yourself.

ATTN: Me and my girl were told by the owner and security not to show affection and kiss after paying $20 upon entry. We later split after 15 minutes and went to Broad Ripple. We will never go back to Harper’s (5/12/2019).

The bartender was super nice. Real friendly people person. The food was on the scale of three and it may be just what I order. The food on the menu look good.

Awesome Fish, Chicken and fries you just have to taste it for yourself. Stop in after work or even later in the evening they'll treat you very good. You won't be disappointed.

Good place. But the workers, from the bar tenders to some security needs to be trained more on how to handle or relate to customer. They need to learn to be customer friendly

I think the place seemed nice and the food was pretty good. The bartender was attentive. I believe everyone kinda knew each other, and they were playfully teasing each other.
