I'm a returning TX resident and before coming to this office to register my vehicle I read the online instructions very carefully. In there it mentions this: "Automobile appointments are required for vehicle transactions such as title transfers, homemade trailers, new residents (vehicles that have never been registered in Texas)." How do you interpret this other than if I have previously had my vehicle registered in Texas, I do NOT need to make an appointment. It turns out that I do. So please do not waste your time and money before reading this. Honestly I'd make an appointment regardless of what it says on their website, which probably hasn't been updated in years. I expected the worst and I got it LOL. I scheduled an appointment this time and I can't wait to see what else did I miss from their stale website!
Wasted an hour of my time this morning after a very long shift in the ICU last night going to this place. After being on hold for 56 minutes yesterday, was told over the phone that I could do a walk in to pick up my plates as they have no appointments until July. Arrived today and the officer at the front desk was about as rude as you could ask for. I’m sorry you are an underpaid public servant but try and be nice. These people are a joke. Our tax dollars at work. SMH
Jury room is very crowded and noisy. You show up and spend a lot of time waiting for them to call your number or not. If you are chosen you line up and slow walk to the court house. Then you wait some more.
Judge William "Bill" McLeod for outstanding justice he is the best !!!!
