The first time I ever went to Haute Headz was back in April. Emily was the stylist that was working on my hair. I told her I wanted a reverse balayage. It was a complete disaster. It looked like she just put a bowl on my head and went in a circle and made the top brown and the bottom blonde. I went back a few days later and let her “fix it”. When I went back Amanda (the salon manager) helped her fix my hair and at that point I did a full foil because I realized EMILY could NOT do what I wanted. Every time I went back to Emily there was something Wrong and Amanda had to help her fix it. I told her that I do NOT want my hair to look yellow or to have an ashy tone and every single time I went to her that’s what she did. She rushed on my hair and it showed! (My Fault For going back to her multiple times) Recently I went back to to get my hair done and I found out that Emily no longer works there so I was going to be Amanda’s client now. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!!!!! She did my reverse balayage and gave me a money piece in the front! I finally had my hair looking the way I wanted it too! Plus she gave me the best haircut I have had In like 3 years! If you need an amazing stylist then Amanda is definitely your girl! I will say the salon will make sure you are satisfied with you experience and will do whatever they can fix a situation. I am greatful for Jenn (the owner) and Amanda (the salon manager) for always fixing my hair when it needed to be fixed.

My experience at Haute Headz was perfect as always...HH is one of my favorite places to go. Eric at the front desk is amazingly efficient and friendly and I've never seen him in a bad mood. Skit, my stylist for 15 plus years is the best stylist ever and I feel she is my friend as we have shared so much about our personal lives during our times together. Having Skit do my hair is like spending an hour or so with a good friend. Plus she can take my baby fine wisps of hair and make it look decent and I have told her many times that she must live one day longer than I do because I could not live without here. The place is clean orderly perfectly run as there is never wait time. It is happy and cheery and I thank God I was referred to Skit 15 or so years ago because she has taken one less problem off my hands.

I was charged 50 dollars for a blow dry after waiting 30 minutes in a chair in the back of the salon with a towel on my head because the stylist decided to do a haircut right as my color was almost done developing. First of all, 50 dollars for a blow dry is ridiculous, especially when I was not notified that this was even a charge? And you would think that after making me wait 30-45 minutes after getting my color washed out, they would make this complimentary for the trouble. And $45 dollars for a toner that sat on my head for 2 minutes? Additionally, the prices you advertise when booking online are completely false. Don't advertise $100 for a full highlight when in reality you charged me $130 for a partial. Have to say this was a super disappointing visit.

Wish I could leave less than 1 star. Extremely disappointed. 2 haircuts, 3 days apart & I paid for both of them. The second time I came in wasn’t even a big deal to me until I felt Bernadette dragging the shears through my hair while trying to use her comb with the same hand. I didn’t say anything even though it happened multiple times. Figured it was an accident. I didn’t complain because it was my first hair cut in a salon in 5+ years. It took me a few weeks to even post this. She was great to talk to but I will not be returning. I was talked out of cutting more off at the first appointment but the second appointment she decided to chop it to the extreme and the layers are hard - they jump like steps … not layers.

Hairstylist Dania Pina was highly recommended to me by my hairstylist of five (5) years when she moved out of state. Dania Is the perfect match for me! Dania begins my appointment’s with a thorough consultation, did I like my highlights (Blonde), how is my hair performing, did I like the Truss Shampoo and Conditioner I purchased, did I like the way my hair felt, is there anything I want to change, etc.. My hair looks and feels healthy, and I’ve been able to go an entire week without washing my hair! I highly recommend Dania Pina if you’re looking for someone who truly cares about the health and integrity of your hair, and is willing to help you achieve your hair goals.

I had a Japanese hair straightening with Mary yesterday. 1. I have very long hair 2. I have had this done unsuccessfully at a different salon down in Palm Beach Gardens. 3. I have a LOT of hair. Mary is excellent! I had fun, the day long procedure is tedious but I had fun... wow. My hair looks amazing and is pin straight, shiny and exactly what I wanted!! This changes my life.. my hair is now easy to deal with once again. (I'm really low maintenance..) I like to wash and go, in Florida, in humidity.. no more frizz until I get about 4" of new growth, then, only the new growth needs to be redone! Anyone who wants this... book a Japanese hair straightening with Mary!

Haute Headz is a great place for a haircut. Melissa cuts my entire families hair and we absolutely love her. Everyone there is super friendly and inviting. Plus they provide all sorts of services such as manicure, pedicure, etc. I can say with complete honesty that I find it difficult to find someone/someplace that I feel good chemistry with respect to this type of service. I grew up in a family with a lot of hair stylists. So believe me when I say this place is a great place with great professionals.

**Update to this review** I have been going to Emily for a little over 8 months now and she has nurtured my heavily damaged hair back to life. I couldn’t be happier with my new look and HIGHLY recommend her. If you want some AMAZING hair love go see Emily at her new location “Sei Bella Salon”. Emily worked wonders on my hair. I recommend her 110%…. I had lots of yellow and she took time to get me where I wanted to be. Emily is AMAZING and highly recommend her for your hair LOVE needs!!!

Emily B. is the BEST!! I first came to her after a horrible haircut from another salon that traumatized me. She treated me with understanding and kindness, and did an awesome job coloring my hair. Over the last few months, she's become a trusted guru, always working to understand my wants and needs while providing awesome recommendations. I always leave happy. I'm so happy I found Emily and always look forward to my appointments.

Jen has been doing my hair for over 15 years. It’s been several different colors and styles over the years. She listens and helps me understand what is best for my hair and style. The Brazilian Blowout was worth the extra time and it really made a difference with Florida humidity. Jennifer and her staff at Haute Headz are welcoming and professional. I highly recommend this business and have sent several of my friends.

Nichole is the chick you NEED to see for skin care! Her professionalism and commitment to my skin truly made all the difference! I had several sessions of micro needling facials, which helped improve the texture of my skin considerably. The icing on the cake was Nichole’s detailed after care instructions and product recommendations. She keeps my skin looking great and HEALTHY all while pampering me during my services.

I had Microneedling with Nichole Johnson who was amazing! One of the best marketing treatments I’ve ever had I struggle with acne scars and a scar from a surgery from when I was young and she help break up the scar tissue Which gave me amazing results. The salon also has a friendly welcoming atmosphere And she is so fun and great to work with. I truly look forward to seeing her every time I called for an appointment.

Love Mariah. I love her honesty, I made a huge mistake tried some other places. Had my hair a hot mess. Mariah took me back, thank God and has me so happy. She gave me a fantastic haircut. Found this little gem tucked away in a shopping plaza across from Ace Hardware on Old St Augustine Road. Its a huge salon, and the staff are amazing. They are talented and friendly. Maria did an amazing job understanding exactly how I wanted my hair to look and gave me a low maintenance cut I am extremely pleased with. Theybare a full service hair salon, and I will definitely be going back.

It is hard to find a salon that checks all the boxes. Haute Headz does! I am so glad Jennifer was recommended to me when I moved to NE FL. Jenn is a great stylist and person. Nice place but when my lady had her hair cut she asked for shorter. The stylist recommended not too, then when she went back two days later to get a shorter cut like originally asked a $30 charge was rendered. $30 was payed in addition to the original cost even though that’s what was asked for originally. Do not see us as being return customers.

I have had Nichole do my VI Peel and Microneedling. She makes it fun, uplifting but at the same time very professional. Not only is she interested in you at office but follows up and sends home instructions. I’m 67 and people compliment my skin constantly and say I look like I’m in my 50’s. I just say thank you Nichole for making me beautiful.

I had Nichole the (esthetician) and omg when I tell you my skin had amazing results, it is crazy. I had cystic acne that caused scarring and after her services my skin looks amazing. I had tried almost everything before going to her. Almost 0 scarring and little or no acne. 10/10 would recommend her and her services.

I love how Douglas cuts my hair. When I told him I wanted to transition to my natural gray he suggested Melissa do foils. Melissa knew exactly what I was looking for and did an outstanding job. I’ll always go to Douglas for my cut and Melissa for foils. They are both top knotch professionals!!

Nichole was my amazing esthetician, I decided on the microneedling session with a follow up facial. Anything with needles can be a little frightening, but she put me at ease by throughly explaining what to expect step by step. She kicked my skin in gear and I left feeling shiny and new!

They whacked a big chunk of hair out of the top of my head and it’s noticeable. It doesn’t match up to the rest of my hair on either side. They offered to redo it, but I live 30 minutes away, so I’ll try to fix it myself and find a salon closer to home.
