Base off the reviews I was very excited to patron this store for the 1st time. I like to make sure I'm giving my pup the most natural treats, since I home make his actual food. I walked in and a couple was being serviced at the register, the employee seemed very nice "to them". Once that couple left I was the only customer in the store. The employee seems force to say hello to me, didn't ask if I needed assistance, just not very welcoming what so ever. A 2nd employee came out, and nothing was said at all from her. I did find two items I was interested in purchasing. But something just didn't feel right. I am a person of color, and I want to refuse to believe that was the reason I was given the "cold shoulder". Nerve the less, I politely put the items back in their original places and exited the store. I got back in my car, and all of a sudden saw the 2nd employee exit the store as if she was looking for me. My first thought was, did she think I stole something, or is she looking to apologize for not approaching me with better customer service. I wanted to get out and confront her, but I opted out of causing a scene. I ended up going to the original pet supply store I normally go to, and the feeling was like night and day. I was greeted at the door, and felt very welcome. I just told myself Healthy tails, will never get my business ever.

What can I say more then what everyone has already said I have always taken my pets to Nancy Brandt but these guys have taken over her job and provided me with excellent care and honesty. They can be as little more expensive depending but it's all about what they can offer to keep your pet in the best health .Cheyenne tonopah on Rancho is one of the highest quality care for your loved ones .sometimes it pays to always know you are in the right place for your babies that pays more then money could ever cost you end so for what it's worth to you in the end is how you have to weigh it out .GOD BLESS DR V AND WILSON I LOVE DR V HE IS MY FAVORITE OF ALL TIMES MAY GOD ALWAYS BLESS THIS MAN DAY IN DAY OUT

I'm so upset about today's interaction with John, one of the owners! I have been a loyal customer for 13 years, the lifetime of my dog, Sophia. I have spent over $200/month for 13 years! Do the math. I always found Mike to be very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Staff are great. My complaint is with John. On two occasions he has given me a very hard time about unopened food returns, which the store boasts a no nonsense return policy. John nitpicks through my past purchases and refuses to honor a return. Two times this has happened to me. I will not spend another penny there!! I'm so angry!! Goodbye Healthy Tails!

Great selection and prices. I get Weruva cat food from here for my furry babies. This store is great for pet food brands that are often not available at the local chain stores, and it appears to be a small business, though you'd have to ask the employees to verify. I also wanted to comment on a negative review that was left. I'm not white either, and no one has given me the "cold shoulder." Sometimes employees forget to greet customers because they're busy. They SHOULD, but we all fall short at times. It doesn't automatically mean they hate you. Anyway, this store is great, and I will keep coming back.

I'm all about taking care of local retailers. I've been visiting Healthy Tails for the past 9 years. The store is clean and staff are always friendly. Unfortunately two days ago when I was visiting the store to claim my frequent buyer program for Orijen, I was told the manufacturer no longer offers the buy 12 get one free. To verify, I called the manufacturer, Champion Petfood and they ensured me that Happy Tails is their contracted retail shop in LV and they participate the frequent buyer program. I am very disappointed that the business owners were not forthright about honoring this program.

I can’t recommend this place enough! We have a French bulldog with the worst food allergies, which we’ve spent countless hours and money trying to alleviate. I happened upon this place during my wife’s doctors visit. The staff here was so helpful and John came up with a multi-sample meal plan to work with my Frenchie to accommodate his allergies. I appreciate the patience and expertise of this place and this will be the only pet supply store I deal with in Las Vegas. Thank you John and staff for the excellent treatment and we’ll see you soon!

Hands down, the best customer service I receive in town. I've yet to walk out of the store without being thoroughly impressed. The store is always clean and organized, staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, and they give my dog treats! I can't say enough about how awesome they are. Hard to find local mom-and-pop shops nowadays, but these guys are a fine example of one. If you're looking for dog food, look no further...Healthy Tails is the place to go. Blows Petco and Petsmart out of the water. My dog loves the place more than I do!

Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful in finding the correct dog food and snacks for your furry friend. You get a discount when you buy a dozen canned foods. I like that I can choose different flavors and brands to make up that dozen, instead of having to buy a case of the same flavor. If there is a recalled product, they personally notify you since they have your info. and know that you purchased the product. They carry heavy items to your car for you. Really great customer service. A+ business.

Knowledgeable, helpful staff. Some things seem a bit pricey, but it's a great place to shop when you have questions about what to feed your pet, etc. Unlike Amazon/ordering online, having the chance to speak to a pet expert cuts down on buying food/toys/pet care items that otherwise might go to waste. They have a good return/exchange policy which also helps cut down on getting stuck with things that your pets won't touch. Also, it's a good feeling knowing that you're supporting a local business.

We found Healthy Tails because we were looking for Primal dog food for our 2 yorkies. We just moved here from Florida and needed to find the food they like and are used to. I was greeted warmly immediately upon walking in and was enthusiastically led to the Primal dog food. The team was very knowledgeable. I was also happy to see that they have Stella & Chewy’s Raw Kibble (our dogs’ go-to dry food) The team also have cool tie-dyed “paw” shirts for their uniform. Highly recommend

I found this store listed on Ruffwear's Retailers. They had a fully stocked selection of all Ruffwear's products in every color. So many other toys, leashes, and fun stuff all from the best brands. It was like staring at Amazon's search results but everything was right there! Thoroughly impressed! On top of that, the customer service was exceptional and they helped put on the dog harness for me. We will be back for treats and goodies!

As soon as I got home, I HAD to write a review. This is hands down, the best place to purchase high quality foods for your beloved pets. I was immediately greeted by Mike, who was so friendly and knowledgable. Unbelievable customer service, incredible story behind the origin of this shop (check out their website). My 2 cats loved the samples Mike gave me. I will be back soon! They've just earned themselves a new loyal customer.

This is what you get when you have knowledgeable and passionate employees and owners that care about their products and services. Is it slightly more than a large retailer? Maybe. Although we find their prices reasonable and are happy to support because every trip feels like we are being catered to, a custom shopping experience where we are asked questions about our pet and given advice. So friendly and a true gem in LV!

This store is amazing. Top notch service and royalty treatment staff. The owners and staff are super knowledgeable about pet nutrition. This is the only place i go for my dog food. The staff is extremely knowlegable and super friendly. They often have samples for my dogs to try and they are nice enough to give me 2, one for each of my dogs. They have an excellent selection of healthy dog treats and dried animal parts like duck necks and chicken feet. It sounds gross but dogs love them. Their prices are also comparable to online retailers.

Dog food is not cheap!!! I pay just about 100$ for 1 bag of food.Now with that said I know my dog is not getting trash or chemical products in her system.The store is clean highly educated about their products and treat you like family.Look I get it 100$ for 1 bag seems crazy and it is,but your dog is your kid and your kids needs to be healthy why not feed them Healthy Tails here in Las Vegas NV.

The people here are always so friendly and offer great advice if they dont have what you usually get. Seems family owned, and has a great stock of my cats favorite food (tiki cat, which can be hard to find elsewhere). They also get peacock feathers from a local farm and my cat is obsessed with them. Last time I went they gavee a nice size sample of some fish oil for cats and my cat is so shiny.

Healthy Tails LV is THE place to get pet food and supplies in Las Vegas. They supply only the top quality brands and carry only products that they would feel safe using with their own pets. 2022 will be my 5th year using Healthy Tails LV for all my dog food and supply needs and I have been well taken care of the entire time! This store is a blessing for myself and for my pets!

The owner/staff are so nice and helpful. The prices are very competitive and it's nice to know I am supporting a local business. They have a huge selection of healthy food, treats and things for your pet to chew on. They have samples of foods and treats so you can make sure your pet likes it before you buy. Just dropped in today and I really was impressed with the service and product availability. I went in to buy a brand, they didn’t carry that brand and was told why they don’t. I love when owners/employees know what’s going on with manufacturers! It’s important when feeding our beloved pets.

The staff offered individualized help with the selection of products for my dogs. I got excellent advice to help choose a probiotic with digestive enzymes that my dogs love and my dogs got a treat before they left the store. I can't say enough about how helpful and kind the staff were.

The nicest staff! They know your name, pets' names, and keep a computer record of what you buy so you don't have to remember. They'll give samples of new foods for you to try when you get a new pet. And they'll carry everything out to your car for you! Never shop anywhere else.
