I don’t feel comfortable with any teacher in this school. For a matter of fact it’s hard to even voice an opinion. I wasn’t able to get help at all for my learning needs rather than solutions that state the obvious. So to my guidance and vice principal (they know who they are) thanks for making me think you guys would give a damn about the students in this school. I am disgusted by the way I was treated and the attitude I got for trying to voice my educational needs. I will never have trust in the hands of your authority and the people in this school. I hope we will never cross paths again. Thanks for ruining my school experience and year.

This school was a good high school experience, with some memorable teachers. The IB program here is definitely worth it, if that's something you want to look into and this school has one of the best math departments in the city. The only thing I really didn't like was the overall hygiene in a lot of the washrooms. They would often be closed or just out of order, which often forced you to commute to the upper floors for your business. Overall, it was a good school, but it's really what you make out of it in the end.

Henry wise wood is a great school for unique programming, they offer GATE and IB programs and you can mix these classes with regular stream classes. The teachers that I've had this far have been super supportive and great and the arts program is really great. The plays drama puts on are a must see. The band program is also really good, last year the band went on tour to Hawaii and the next big trip is to Seattle. Overall, Henry wise wood is a great school with some of the best course selection in all of Calgary.

This community high school is centrally located with easy access from Glenmore Trail, MacLeod Trail, 14th Street and Elbow Drive. It offers regular program, a gifted and talented program, IB and various arts based curriculum. The student population is small compared to other high school giving it a more community feel. Allowing students, teachers and support staff the ability to develop closer ties and understanding.

Worst high school experience of my life. Many teachers are stricked and not accommodating to their students. I did have a few good teachers. There are many mean and snubby students. I don't understand how anyone besides myself can graduate in this poor social and learning environment. to me what a joke. I was there in 2003. Thats why I left and graduated at Alternative. Hopefully things have changed.

We are taking IB courses in this school. From the schedule it looks like IB students are blending into a regular class if you only take one IB course. Should IB course be a different class? Otherwise how IB is different with regular class? wondering???

Great school, with GATE and IB program. Math program is best in the city, and some teachers are awesome, and care about your progress. Unfortunately as with all schools there are some bad aspects, like dirty washrooms and bad pre-ib science teachers.

This high school presented me with a positive high school experience, as well as some unforgettable teachers.  he IB programme here is well worth it, and this school has one of the best math departments in the region. Thank you!

you should not have to change your pants and wise wood shirt to participate in gym it has nothing to do with gym it is the stupidest rule ever failing someone for not changing clothes

IB program offered here. Our experience of this school has been positive. The school does lots of school spirit and inclusive activities. The football team has a good track record.

Teachers are alright. Not a fan of mr Fortin. I haven’t gotten I. Trouble but I’m not keen on how heavy the punishments are. My friend got a 5 day suspension for recording a fight

had all the ups and downs of my life... only half of the staff can actually teach but the percentage of bad rises as cuts to the academic programs climax...

Although didn't pay much effort to Science 11 and the car repair class, still think they have good stuff out there. I especially like the science teacher.

during a volleyball game i had to use the restroom and the person in the stall beside me really let it rip. it was the greatest experience of my life.

OK school with some really good teachers. Maintenance definitely has to be done and at least one washroom is always closed for some reason.
