Ma LA SOCIETÀ È DAVVERO MEDIOCRE ED INCREDIBILMENTE INFERIORE ALLA CONCORRENZA. è semplicemebte assurdo che sul sito vi siano ancora indicate sedi di ritiro che non esistono più da anni ma ancora peggio veicoli che invece non fanno parte del parco auto. MA LA COSA PIÙ GRAVE È CHE IL VEICOLO AL QUALE MI RIFERISCO È QUELLO PER IL TRASPORTO DI DISABILI. meno male che Hertz vanta specificatamente il programma di noleggio di veicoli adattati per il trasporto di disabili MENTRE INVECE ARRIVATO IN AGENZIA MI SENTO DIRE CHE DA TEMPO QUIESTI VEICOLI NON SONO PIÙ DISPONIBILI....... MA ALLORA PERCHÉ SUL SITO LASCIATE L OPZIONE DI NOLEGGIO E IDEM TRAMITE SERVIZIO TELEFONICO???FATE SOLO PERDERE DEL TEMPO A CHI HA NECESSITÀ E SI RIVOLGE A VOI!!!!!!..... PECCATO PESSIMA ESPERIENZA.

De véritables malhonnêtes! Nous avons loué une voiture pour 2 jours, vu la conduite des italiens nous avons préféré être prudentes et payer l’assurance totale. L’employé nous a demandé si 300km étaient suffisants et j’ai dit que non car nous avions l’intention d’aller de l’autre côté de l’île et ce 2 fois. Lorsque je suis partie j’ai bien demandé à l’employé si nous n’aurions rien à payer de plus que l’essence et il nous a garanti que non. La location devait être de 189 euros, quelle surprise de voir un débit de 400 euros sur ma carte bancaire ! Lorsque j’ai contacté Hertz ils m’ont informé que les km étaient limités et que nous devons payer chaque km en plus des 300 prévus! J’ai contesté mais ils n’ont rien voulu entendre. 400 euros + 90 euros d’essence pour 2 jours, ca fait un week-end end très cher!

Hertz will not deliver the car you see in the booking. Hertz uses chinese relabeled cars called DR automobiles 4.0. Weak engine not fit for any hill or mountain journey. Any Opel, VW, Jeep or other cars would fell like a car and do well on the sicily roads. Hertz delivers chinese DR 4.0 with a 8.0 l/100km fuel comduption or higher average where an Opel Mokka (as described at booking) would be much more economical. At the terminal your card will fail at payment and when use your husband or wifes card Hertz will charge extra 15 euro per day because they say the payment card belongs to the driver. Good experience. Walked in to take a car for a day. Probably more expensive than the bargains you can find elsewhere, but I went for fully covered package and was hassle free with swift check in and check out. All insured means no worries about scratches etc and those headaches that you will have read from others. From counter to garage, everyone we met was efficient and professional. The office is open at hours as advertised, but car can be returned to garage next to office till 11pm at night. We rang the doorbell, a guy opened the garage to let the car in, i handed over rental paper, guy checked the fuel gauge and wrote 8/8 for full tank and handed back the paper to me. That was it. Location is great just a short walk from Politeama square, car was newish and very clean. Good luck!

Personnel odieux et incompétent. J'avais réservé une voiture 2 semaines pour environ 200€. Suite à un décès familial la veille du départ, nous avons du décaler notre voyage de quelques jours. Pour récupérer la voiture 3 jours plus tard, les employés me proposaient un tarif hallucinant de 1800€, alors qu'ils auraient très bien pu la louer durant ces 3 jours, ou faire payer des frais de parking raisonnables. Ils ont été spécialement méprisants de la situation et m'ont répété à plusieurs reprises qu'il n'y avait aucune autre solution, comme si en 2020 récupérer une voiture louée quelques jours plus tard constituait un obstacle majeur et insurmontable. Je déconseille très fortement cette enseigne, et particulièrement cet établissement.

Elegimos Hertz por la seguridad que pensábamos que daba. La realidad fue un servicio bastante caro que no nos dio las garantías que esperábamos, ya que no nos informaron de todas las condiciones y nos cobraron de más. Por otra parte, habíamos concretado un coche y al final nos lo cambiaron por otro "con las mismas características" ya que el primero "tardaba en venir". Esto tampoco supuso un problema, pero tras darnos cuenta después de que no fueron totalmente claros, he decidido comentarlo también. Como conclusión, pongo dos estrellas porque el coche y el servicio en sí no es malo, pero bastante caro y no dejaros engañar, aprovechan cualquier cosa para cobrar de más.

Riconsegnato la macchina oggi. Ho provato a telefonare durante l'orario di apertura dalle h 16 al 091 331668 infinite volte, infinitamente suona libero, mai risposto nessuno! Volevo riconsegnarla prima. Mi si contesta che non c'era il pieno, invece c'era, ho gornito anche ricevuta IP, ma mi hanno rimandato al distributore a rimboccare che era già piena. Era difettosa lancetta.Servizio dI accoglienza semplicemente INFAME. MAI PIÙ RIPETERÒ TALE ESPERIENZA!!! Piuttosto che scusarsi mi ha minacciato di star xotyo perché altrimenti lui asseriva di aver titolo di addebitarmi comunque 49.50€ + mancata benzina. SEMPLICEMENTE VERGOGNOSO! . MAI PIÙ!!!

Pessimo. Non ci hanno dato la macchina dopo che abbiamo pagato praticamente tutto online. Sulle condizioni generali ci sono scritte le carte che accettano e praticamente nessuna carta di credito/debito normale, mai successo in nessun altro autonoleggio. Il personale in filiale invece di aiutarci continuava a darci le colpe per non aver letto le condizioni generali, parlandoci di quanti anni lui fosse lì a lavorare, ma non conoscendo costi di penali e non dandoci opzioni alternative al problema, nemmeno un aiuto con la cancellazione (passato l’orario di prenotazione ormai non più possibile). Mai più.

Peggior posto per affittare una macchina, compagnia inutile e poco trasparente, servizio clienti inesistente siamo stati mezza giornata a contattare il servizio senza alcuna risposta, una volta pagata la cifra intera di tutto il veicolo per 3 giorni non hanno saputo darci nemmeno un numero x effettuare il rimborso anche parziale , sconsiglio vivamente a tutti di procedere anche solo a fermare un veicolo rivolgetevi a piccoli autonoleggi, successo a molte persone di trovarsi lì senza poter ritirare la macchina .. ci ha fatto rinunciare a molte tappe nella nostra vacanza . TRUFFOTORI !!!

Front door for people is as listed on via Messina, but if you're returning a car, go to the garage on the 'back side' of the same block with the entrance on via Trapani. I believe the signage for the garage has Thifty car rental as the most prominent brand. We ended up circling the block a few times, finally finding a parking space, going in, and then being given this info. Hope putting it here helps someone else avoid the same fun. Other than that our return was smooth - friendly, helpful staff (English speaking), both in the garage and at the desk.

Terrible experience. I had a reservation with them, they didn't have the car available, so I was directed to another rental agency to get a replacement car. In the end, my excess insurance was not valid because of that. This is a scam!!! Stay away from hertz, The only hertz in the world where they do this, the standard is to offer a better car, instead they offered me 2 cars or to book another company, which invalidates any excess insurance you may have purchased. Non siamo riusciti ad arrivare per l' ora stabilita per il ritiro a causa di un ritardo del treno. Nonostante avessimo avvisato con ampio anticipo del ritardo i gestori del servizio di noleggio, abbiamo PERSO NON SOLO L AUTO, MA ANCHE TUTTI I SOLDI. Una vacanza rovinata!

Remains the best car rental for us. In Palermo, there are many rentals which are not always very reliable (we read in other reviews) but we knew that Hertz is always good. However, important, the insurance is really (really!) expensive. We took an external insurance which is good and cheap. So the combination of the good rental and this insurance company was perfect!

A differenza dei colleghi di Catania, il personale molto gentile e cordiale, sia all'accettazione dove ci hanno dato un'auto di fascia superiore perché quelle che dovevano darci erano state consegnate sporche. Il controllo del veicolo da parte del personale è stato molto dettagliato e non hanno trascurato nessun graffio presente. Molto soddisfatto.

It was a good experience - the car was new and easy to drive. However, be ready that you won't get exactly that car you booked online. We booked Fiat 500 L but upon our arrival we were told that there was no Fiat L but just Fiat 500 - a small one. We were just two so no problem to change the car but in other case there could be some difficulties.

I was expecting the worst since most rental agencies have a bad reputation in Sicily. I went with Hertz because I have points with them. Good choice! Speedy check out, the guy waived my late returned car fee ($25). Good idea to prepay because then they are locked into a specific vehicle and price. Great experience

Hertz un nome una garanzia. Conosco la Hertz in ambito professionale e da utente privato non ha smentito la sua qualità gestionale. Personale qualificato e preparato. Gestione del contratto trasparente. Per la mia esperienza (anche passata) il parco veicoli è aggiornato. Non ho mai avuto problemi.

Returned on time (12:15, with 30' grace period) but the employee was busy... She registered my car at 12:33 which was late. So they charged me for another day. I wrote many emails to complain, but no positive response. They also delivered the car LATE when I took it.
