"It is a great concept"
"I’ve seen pictures of high park for a while now and I finally got to stop by! It was beautiful to watch the sun begin to set up there"
"Would be nice to visit this place but it is currently closed and looks under construction"
"Beautiful scenes of the Calgary downtown"
"They built a rooftop park and didn't add sports, huge waste"
It is a great concept. The parking garage feels a bit sketchy. We basically had the park to ourselves. The lights, signs, and tables were pretty but only a small path was cleared with no access to the tables. There were chalk drawings and writing on the wall, many of which were...unpleasant. I would love to see some more BUMP work on the walls. More interactive stuff would be great-tether ball? Giant jenga? Something. An interactive art exhibit or seasonal display would be great. It isn't super visible or well advertised. I would also love a local partnership with one of the restaurants in the area so you could grab a picnic basket or something.
I’ve seen pictures of high park for a while now and I finally got to stop by! It was beautiful to watch the sun begin to set up there. I went on a Sunday night. Parking was easy. If you’re looking for a cool place to enjoy some takeout or just play some outdoor games with friends this is a cool space. They have a turf area and 4 half court basketball courts. Excited to see what else they add into here!
Would be nice to visit this place but it is currently closed and looks under construction. All you can do is look through a window. The stairs are blocked off, and the elevator lets you off at a blocked floor. Sadly, if you parked downstairs specifically to come here, there is no notice that it is closed and you wasted money!
Beautiful scenes of the Calgary downtown. You could see the Calgary tower and enjoy a warm drink and downtown night lights in the evening. It would be best to visit in summer with an icecream cone and taking pictures. There is reasonable parking and no entry fees.. A modern and sophisticated park for a fast city like Calgary.
They built a rooftop park and didn't add sports, huge waste. (Imagine a basketball cage!) They have little strips of astroturf instead of a proper section big enough to do anything on. The paint they used is a year old yet looks ten years old at the rate its fading and cracking. The picnic table seats will only fit children.
Great concept to use an underutilized space in the middle of downtown. The message signs are really cute. The picnic tables fit 2 people each and are designed for physical distancing. It will be great to see how this place evolves over time and to visit on a less snowy day to better see all the colours painted on the ground.
What a cool little rooptop park. High Park is cute for instagram pictures for sure lol . A beautiful spot to have a lunch date with friends or race them down the football lane . It's open from 9am to 11pm. It's located on the 5th floor in the parkade. No food or bathroom located on the premises but very near by. …
It’s very easy and accessible to park here, and there is always plenty of spaces open. Plus, it’s only $2 to park on the weekends. The park is gorgeous too. On the weekends they have a fire pit going in the afternoons. It’s a great place to come And take some cute photos, play bocci ball, and enjoy the views.
The paint has been chipped off in most places but you can still take nice pictures and theres lots of nice views around the top. Easy access to parking but I think it would make the place more lively if they added a net or basketball hoop so people can hang out here more often. The vibes✌ …
Park at the top of a multi-level parade. Follow the Google address and climb the stairs to the top. No bathroom. Basketball cage, football field. Not a little kid park. It's a great place to meet up with friends, hangout view the city. It has always been well used but to not crazy busy.
It's a good concept, in an interesting location, and maybe it is better at night, but there is no shade at all... it was very hot on the day we were there, and there were no other people. A couple of suggestions would be to install shade sails, some planters, water fountains, etc...
They opened it too late....the winter was here within a week they opened the high park... wasn't able to enjoy having fun with friends on the grass mat....there was snow everywhere. Hopefully things like COVID change next year and let's have fun for summer 2021 here.
Stealing all the parking in the building for 10 people a week to sit up there, what a waste of money for the parkade & for the clients who pay monthly to use that parkade and cannot get parking. NOT WORTH IT ANYMORE! Covid is winding down and the park needs to go
made my friends come here for a photoshoot for my birthday! needs to be painted and some of the signs are broken, but overall it was nice to check out. i’d suggest they paint/fix everything at least once a season
The high park is such a beautiful place to go in the summer where you can look over the city and watch the sunset, I would definitely recommend this place to hangout with someone or just look at a amazing view!
Believe it or not I think we are on our way to Calgary being a true metropolis, inner urban areas are starting to transform and this seriously could be the best day of my life. More of this!!! Is why we need.
Great views, it just didn't open at the right time. Should be good in 2021 if it's still around. It would be nice if there was a coffee stand or hot dog vendor up there I'll be posting 360 photos soon
An outdoor park, on the roof of a parkade, in the middle of downtown Calgary. It's a really interesting and unique place, great for photos and Instagram videos. The views from the top are great too.
Beautiful new park in downtown Calgary full of artistic integrity and creative people! Went up for a short visit and saw dancers, street artists, and overall wonderful people here. Will visit again!
Very unique and cool park on the rooftop of a parkade with tons of spots for photography :D Parking on the weekend and evenings is very cheap, so don't worry to drive in :D shimi_omaichi loved it
What a cool transformation of an urban space! We had a blast playing some bocci ball and swinging on the swings. There is also a see-saw, table tennis, corn hole, and lots of other games to play.
Beautiful views, great place to bring kids and teens. Needs updating; paint, some letters missing from signs, and better signage from road and parkade only found it because of a kind Samaritan.
Great place, great ambiance. It's like a secret spot in the middle of the city. Great place to go and just chill. Bring your own everything, it's not a place of business.
Highly innovative use of space and it’s a shame more people don’t use it. Maybe now Covid restrictions have been lifted more people will venture out and visit.
It’s a cool and unique park in the middle of downtown Calgary on top of a parkade! It has great views and is very accessible and easy to get to!
Such a cute place, so nice at night too and they re-painted it since the last time I went and new things to look at. Great for cute photos
Great little rooftop location for photographers. Had alot of little set ups, with great back drop of the city and Calgary tower.
Event was over when we arrived, got a chance to take pictures with the rainbow floors but there were people taking things down
Went a little late. Didn't feel it that evening. Going back another time to give opinion. Got a bad vibe on first visit.
Under whelming! it may have once been an interesting spot but it's now way past its glory days. Dilapidated spot
really cool spot to hang out with friends, take pictures, and enjoy the view. a great addition to downtown.
Did a great rooftop workout here. What a cool space. Can’t wait to meet up with friends and family there.
The open space and relaxation of a park, but with the elevated city views you'd normally have to pay for.
Beautiful views of city scape and the Calgary Tower. Best of all, yes easily accessible via the Plus 15!
Summer is almost around corner and this place would be alive again. Can't wait to have and …
Pretty cool place, but I wish there was more shade from the sun and more to do; it was pretty empty.
Great spot for pics and nice view of DT Calgary. Parking is a inconvenience but, worth it.
Fun place to take a stroll through. Plenty of activities and areas to have pictures taken!
Great spot for photography as well as just hanging with friends while socially distancing
Enjoyable place, but everything looks quite old and there are not a lot of things to do.
Definitely worth going at least once! Lots of photo opportunities for all ages.
Amazing at night. Lots of fun, swings, nice views. Make sure to go with friends
Really neat location, have never seen a park like this before !!!!
Beautiful place at night. I went on weekdays that no people around
Decent view of downtown, great concept. Should have free parking.
Fun place to add onto the quarantine walks. Especially at night.
Must be nice for summer time but this isn’t a place for sunset
Great space! Can't wait to see how it develops in the future!
Fun place to go with friends the basketball court was art
Great spot for anyone who's looking for a good workout.
Just missing something.... Can't put my findlger on it
Great place to relax and chill alone or with friends.
