Here at Hillsboro Plaza there is a Publix store they have a manager here called Alejandro he is bipolar is schizophrenic I know this because I have an Insider who told me about his medication this man one day is happy with you and another day he discriminates people I've been a customer to Publix for over a decade 10 years everything I eat drink or use comes out of Publix I might be homeless on the street but I am respectful and clean I do not come in the store dirty at any time because I am not trash I am a human being that came from a good family my mother was a police officer from Yonkers New York she died in Saint Pete five years ago so I came from a good family and a respectful one at that my father owns Seven Brothers It's a taxi service company from New York that work from Kennedy Airport all around New York and then some all I want to do and point out to these people is does not matter who the person is or how they are as long as they come with respect they should earn the respect out of the employees to a lot of employees here look at you that looks and criticizing people not knowing that people might be on the street for a mistake they raise my rent so high I couldn't even pay it my girlfriend made a scene at my job I lost my job I worked at Whiskey Joe's Bar & Grill at 60th Courtney Campbell Highway I was a dishwasher there earning $11 an hour I don't have a job right now because a police officer that arrested me in the past for a bench warrant that is nothing important is because I forgot my date to go to court he threw away my wallet and it is almost impossible to get my ID I am working on it right now and I will get my ID and I will stand up on my feet I just want to bring to the light of the public a lot of people that are homeless are family members mothers fathers could people not everybody is bad so don't look at everybody like they are terrible I know I'm not so please make this notice to the store and another store manager in Publix called Jeff he is not polite to nobody neither I am a mental patients I have plenty of my own problems here at Publix you could buy hot food but there is no tables outside to eat so I sit outside on the floor to eat and he decided to bring a police officer trying to trespass me but I had to school them both because I am a patriot for over 10 years to the store and I eat here Elmo's every single day so I have as much right as anybody else to be in this Plaza as long as I am respectful and I am respectful to everybody so I just want to bring up to the eyes of this company from Publix to please School their managers and to be more polite to people and not judge them for what or for who they are thank you for listening and reading

I go to this Publix to pick up my prescription, Today I decided to grab a quick lunch around 12ish. I picked up sushi, sea weed salad and a bottle of pickled ginger, 24$. When I go to pay at the express line. I was not even acknowledged which is unusual at Publix. Instead The bagging lady and chasier proceeded to have a conversation during my check out. Bagging lady asked Chasier "Why was everyone buying sushi today" ?? The cashier replies in a dry tone, "Oh because it's on sale on Tuesday's" The bagging lady responds "Is publix sushi even good"? The cashier responds " if you haven't tasted Sushi anywhere else you would think its good"! Bagging lady responds " What place do you recommend"? Chasier responds "SoHo"! I honestly can't believe they had this entire conversation while I was paying for the item of discussion. I've gone to restaurants to eat sushi, however today I had no time for that, I was in a rush and I had no idea it was on sale on Tuesdays. I just feel the conversation was extremely disrespectful, and rude. I will honest drive to the other side of town the next time I want to go to Publix. That experience was just terrible. You should never assume someone's financial status or reason for purchasing an item. If I would of opened the sushi dumped it on the counter I would of been a horrible person, so I just grab my bag and walked out. I refused to waste my lunch break reacting to such ignorance.

So yesterday, my online sub order got totally jacked up! I called Publix yesterday and the manager told me to come back this morning and either get a refund or a new sandwich, very nice. So I come back this morning, and a different manager saw the line at customer service and said "is everyone waiting for lotto" and I was like "I'm not" he waved me over with a smile, I gave him my receipt and my messed up sub and told him what the manager Tom told me on the phone. He said "I am going to do you one better, I am going to give you your money back and you get a new sub!" I was so happy, because I really just wanted another sub. I go get a new sub, the lady making my sub Bashima was her name, was soooo nice and apologetic. Three managers came over to me, gave me the cash back, apologized and told Bashima that this sub was on the house. Talk about customer service! Publix is absolutely unmatched in their care about the little things. Their employees are happy, their managers are phenomenal and their deli and bakery are delicious! Thanks for making my day Publix!

I think some things have changed here. Maybe management has changed? But it is very difficult to find anything here anymore they've moved things to keep you in the store longer. I'm aware all stores do but it seems like a store with higher end prices and a public first attitude wouldn't do these things. Also it seems like the place is poorly kept these days . I had to go through three cartons of eggs to find one that didn't have broken eggs. At the checkout the girl ringing me up tried to put cans of soup and beans on top of my eggs in the same bag . I had to ask her not to. The other girl who came over to help bag was extremely sweet , very young and very friendly, although she was putting things in the bag very hard. Not sure what's going on with this store. I have another Publix nearby that I may have to start patronizing.

There should not be a group of teenagers sitting in the outside bench cause it's very dangerous for the workers but this supermarket should have protection on all doors including the back door and they should only allow a customer who is buying supermarket food and for the liquor side it should be 21 and older ID or Driver License require and for that they should remove all thoses liquor bottles and have a mini liquor shop and the other side will be the supermarket and for the outside you guys need street lights so it could be better for the customers to see at night and they should have a stop sign so the customers could cross and it will be no problem. And for the food the workers should put a yellow tags like on sale so the customers could be happy.

The people in the Delhi is awesome every time I go they go the extra mile to put a smile on my face they also get my little guy a free cookie in which he truly enjoy I want to personally thank you guys for making the experience and your Publix store a wonderful and experience I have never been to this Publix Deli and it was not fully stocked which tells me that management cares about the customer experience. The bread is always fresh in The Boar's Head meat is the best trust me you must get it also they have wonderful soup in the deli area in the prices for the subs are very reasonable and taste 10 times better than Subway

If I could give it less than 1 star I would, the parking is atrocious, everybody speeding through, attitudes, I've never seen more handicap parking for people that are not handicapped in my life I don't want to get on that subject but they really need to crack down on who they hand these placards out too and I'm talking about all different people of age race just unfortunately it's just too much of an easy thing to get I guess these days , but the traffic is terrible be careful you have to park a mile away on game days, the publix is about the best thing going in that Plaza so anything else I won't even stop...

Always an issue with my cake order at this location. Have someone in that area that can comprehend and take an order if they are going to answer the phone. Tried to pick up an order this morning and on top of the confusion of the cake not being ready. When the lady brought over the order form to ask if that could be mine it didn't even have a pick up name on it. It looked as if after several attempts to spell the first name of the person we were celebrating, they finally decided on giving the names when we came to pick up the cake. It's ridiculous really.

This is the Publix I normally go to, it's much bigger than the one on Dale Mabry. But because it is bigger it's also busier so the lines are longer. But the deli, bakery, and produce are on point!!! A bit expensive but if you can afford it, well worth your money. You still have "thoughts people " you know the one's! But overall it is a great store to shop. And the Publix premium ice cream is the GREATEST! However it's not easy to get in and out of the parking lot. There are also a lot of other stores in the plaza as well. So you can shop your heart out!!!

The store was great. The deli worker was horrible. I would have let him go if it was my store. I ordered cheese and he had commentary that was unnecessary. When he finished I ordered shaved ham. It was like I was putting him out. He huffed and mumbled under his breath. If you do not want to cut meat find another job. This was Tuesday late afternoon. Never had this treatment at any Publix. Hope if you need deli meat he is not the one you get stuck with. Every other team member was great and the store was clean.

This is one of my favorite grocery stores they have a lot of variety. They have homemade yogurt parfaits with assorted fruits in them and they taste amazing I buy a whole bunch when I'm there they have an area where they can make you a sub and their subs are out of this world. They're a little pricey but it's well worth it especially if you're looking for a specific ethnic food they do carry pretty much everything for whatever ethnicity. But they always have great deals on items.

I love Publix, I am not just an employee, but an avid shopper at my Publix. The gifted collection of associates and management are the most committed, conscientious, helpful, and genuine than I have ever known in any other workplace that I have worked,.. even other Publix locations can't compete or even match the level of enthusiasm, honest and genuine care. We diligently maintain the higher standards and the customer service, that people have come to count on.

We went in around 11:15 am last Saturday morning to get a hot plates for lunch. We found they had put out left over food from the previous day and charging full price again for it. I asked the young man working to see if he would be honest and he claimed he didn't k or the difference between fresh cooked and leftovers. I explained that mac & cheese and pork shouldn't be dried out first thing in the am. Sad display.

I stop at the Hillsboro Plaza to go to the Publix. Always love their BOGO's and their prices are always fair. The store was exceptionally clean. And their produce was so fresh. I love their delli selection it is definilty the best out of all the chain stores. I also used to use their pbarmacy and it has great customer service and would go back if I would ever have a Dr close to that location again.

I mostly stop by the Publix while I'm in that area. The bakery there Always has that freshly baked scent that's drawing scents request a visit. The deli always has a host of great sandwiches and cooked dishes. With friendly staff who make the orders freshly as you wait. The entire store is a genuine great grocery store . Everything is fresh. Staffers are professional and friendly.

Big disappointment, the place is old, dingy and it's clear that it needs better management. I bought a sack of potatoes that had rotten ones in them (didn't even attempt to return, just wanted them and the smell out of my apartment). I only go there when I forget stuff on my normal shopping trips. I'd recommend finding a different publix location...or just go to Target

I went inside the dollar store and that place was so packed. And I am not talking about with people I am talking about packed with items. I really did not want to leave that I could because there was just so much stuff to go over. Even with all of that inventory inside that building every isle was clean and organized. I actually enjoyed my shopping experience today.

Unusual Publix with a different selection geared toward West Tampa. I like that. This Publix like no other I have been in needs enforcement of people only going in the entrance and only going out the exit. With regularity people go in the out and out the in. This is problematic during this pandemic and because both the entrance and exit are quite cramped.

First of all I love Publix this store in particular is much better than most and most of the staff is very helpful not to mention very good looking. And I know that isn't a requirement for being hired it just happens to work out that way all those little hot Latino boys. Well worth the trip every time …

Service has always been good. I usually buy my fruit from Winn-Dixie but I wasn't able to make it so I went to publix and bought two mangoes. NEVER AGAIN, they were hard and when I cut open the first one it was hard. So, I decided to let the other one sit, it never got soft, after a few weeks it was still hard.

I had a wonderful experience with one of your employees. His name is Freno Painter. He took my groceries out of my cart into the belt, bagged them and then took them to my car more quickly and efficiently than many people half his age. He is a delight to talk to and is an absolute inspiration.

Hillsboròugh plaza is great and convenient in versatility.. it has a Publix a Bealls Outlet, Dollar Tree, Mini Spa, Chinese Food, and a well stocked Pawn Shop that is always in rotation of new Items. It is vibrant. It is a local staple. Very zero tolerance for stealing, noise and Loitering.

Stay away from this place it's dangerous I got my bike tire stolen and the police won't even bother looking at the video surveillance tape as it a low cost item. There a lot of homeless that hang around there and steal your stuff. So unless you want to get ripped stay away from this place.

There's a lot to like about this plaza. Great variety of stores to fit all needs of people. Only thing to be aware of is the habana entrance/exit. Can get a little dangerous if you're not familiar with the traffic pattern. Overall though its a great place to shop that I frequent often

I was in an altercation with an employee of Publix about his driving through the parking lot. The guy is lucky I kept my cool. Complained to the store manager and she didn't seem to care. Just goes to show you how Publix cares about their customers. LOL. Stopped shopping there.

Always fresh fruits, vegetables and prepared foods. The staff is enthusiastic, friendly and courteous. The deli and sandwich lines require some patience but it's understandable. Haven't seen long lines at checkout despite the high volume of patrons. Great job Publix!!

I have been shopping there for 10 years and I love Publix and the people that work there. Also a couple of shops for your needs, but traffic is horrible on Hillsborough Ave. The parking lot is small and gets full fast. So make sure that you have time and patience..

Publix is a great place. Bells i wouldn't recommend that place to my dog D- all the way. Dollar Store C+. Jade Garden the food is yummy yummy door dash this place A+. I never been in any other store there so i can't give a review. But over all the whole plaza B-

I went to Walmart to get some stuff to make spaghetti and that was about it but I go to that store all the time it's right down the road from where I live so it's convenient and their prices beat all the other grocery stores so I recommend going there highly

Customer service at deli department is very much lacking. They are very slow, and totally ignore you. Have found items on shelves with expired dates. The shoppers there which are predominantly Cuban are rude and think it is a social gathering on the aisles.

Like what you'd expect from any Publix. Good sandwiches, weekly specials and friendly faces. I've never had a bad experience here though it's never been incredible .. its just Publix. Don't let that sound like a put down but more of a credit to their brand.

I waited for a parking space while a customer put packages in car.A men drove around my car even though I had a signal on and took the space,the car could hardly pull out,his wife gave me the finger! Great friendly customer 's.Very bad parking conditions.

All the employees and managers are really nice. I am able to everything I need and it's unusual that something is outstock. It can be very busy in the afternoon thru the evening but they are very good at getting you out the door, never any long lines.

I'm very disappointed with this Publix. I know the supply shortage is to blame for some of the issues. The Seminole Heights has exploded. They need to attend this matter they need an upgrade. When I need to stock up I go to Tempe Terrace.

I was buying "fresh flowers" there at Publix just to find out they died right away ! Next time I go back to my favorite Blumenladen flower shop, they cost a bit more but are fresh and last way longer. They are just one block away.

Nice Publix market,set for the area with many Cuban favorites. Produce department has a great variety of tropical root items,plantain, and related fruits and vegetables. Friendly older neighborhood store with cheerful help.

I always visit Bealls Outlet and Dollar tree on my way back home to Lutz. The stores are side by side at Hillsboro Mall with convenient parking and I stock up on my needs for the week...one of my favorite places!

Publix plaza with some other shops. Dollar tree, bealls outlet, jewelry shop, nail shop, dentist. A pawn shop and hair salon share the parking lot in a separate building. It's my regular publix. Parking is easy.

This is a nice plaza but the parking lot is horrible. The area around the bank is a accident ready to happen. The designer should be sued. The only thing keeping this plaza alive is Publix and Bealls.

Great center. Publix is a beautiful, clean store. Citrus Day Spa inexpensive salon with great results. Beals was just remodeled, good prices and ever changing inventory. Dollar Tree is always fun.

Publix was nice , but IMO the parking lot is small , it's a a little difficult to park , but as with that , Publix has everything l need , it's clean and staff friendly , definitely Recommend..

Isn't as stocked / same since coronavirus. However , it's still where I do the majority of my shopping. The place is clean , and staff is always helpful and very friendly / professional.

Great variety of items to choose from. The have a decent amount of sales. Store is under construction in certain areas, so aisle are not as label but the store is clean

Publix on Dale Mabry has a wonderful deli with a variety of salads, soups, subs, and hot items. The store is always clean and parking is plentiful.

Hadn't been to a mass in many years. So happy roof did not cave in on me. Priest was so pleasant, personable, and the sermon was very heartfelt.

Employees are always helpful. Store is clean & I usually find the products I use. I love the bread whether it's the Cuban, Baguette or French.
