Hyde Park Village is a very trendy neighborhood set of shops near downtown Tampa. The small shopping area is cute and very walkable. The shops are all high dollar as my mother used to say. I only gave it three stars as this is not the type of place that I enjoy very much. It was clean, safe, well kept, but nothing me or my friends would typically enjoy. It can be a fun change of pace, something to see. One Sunday out of the month street vendors are invited to come and sell their wares. They call it "Fresh Market". It becomes very crowded. This once-a-month Market is promoted as a "farmers market" however, it is more about smoothies and candied jalapeños, food trucks selling crepes and women in gauzy outfits selling jewelry. It really has nothing to do with farming or produce. I think there was one stand with some vegetables. Trendy little wagon carts sell powder dip mixes, flowers from a florist, jewelry, pottery, clothing, etc. 80's music is piped out onto the streets from the many eateries where people were enjoying an early lunch and cocktails. After our visit and friend told me of a placed called Goody Goody's that she suggested had good prices and great burgers. If you're looking for fun cocktails, trendy foods and shopping, this will likely give you all the options you are looking for in a cute little pretend "village" or main street sort of feel. Pottery barn along with other home stores seemed to be selling very similar home furnishings. A good many trendy shops line the little "town streets" but it quickly all began to feel the same to me. The people watching and the options for street food during the once-a-month event was worth the visit. We considered getting something from a street vendor but could find nowhere shaded that we would sit and eat. The street vendor foods did look well worth trying and similar in price to what I find at other festival type events. On our visit in August, it was very hot, and I was rather quickly looking for an exit. We took a side street and walked some tree covered streets. This is what I enjoyed the most, the surrounding and historic neighborhoods. If you go - I would strongly suggest taking a bit of time to walk some of the side streets. Get out of the market and you will find one of Tampa's cutest little neighborhoods. The homes are adorable. I absolutely loved walking under the shade of the oaks and looking at these cute old homes. I did notice several parking garages that will put you right in the "village". These may fill up on their event weekends, but street parking is available, and you can always find the nearby grocery store parking lot mainly empty and walk in from there. Again, the three-star rating is only my view on how it rates for my enjoyment. If you are looking for an upscale place to shop and eat. You will enjoy Hyde Park Village.
Hyde Park Village is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for an exceptional shopping and dining experience in Tampa. The atmosphere is lively and sophisticated, with a beautiful outdoor setting that's perfect for a day out with friends or family. The staff is friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure that you have a great time. The shopping options at Hyde Park Village are impressive, with a wide variety of high-end stores and boutiques to choose from. Whether you're looking for fashion, home goods, or gifts, you're sure to find something that catches your eye. The outdoor setting adds an extra layer of charm to the experience, making for a delightful shopping excursion. When it comes to dining, Hyde Park Village does not disappoint. There are several excellent restaurants to choose from, each with its own unique menu and atmosphere. From sushi to Italian to classic American fare, there's something for everyone. The outdoor seating options are particularly enjoyable, allowing you to soak up the sunshine and enjoy the beautiful surroundings while you dine. What really sets Hyde Park Village apart, however, is its attention to detail. The landscaping and design are impeccable, creating a beautiful and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff is knowledgeable and accommodating, always happy to provide recommendations or answer any questions you may have. Overall, I highly recommend Hyde Park Village to anyone looking for a top-notch shopping and dining experience in Tampa. It's clear that the staff takes great pride in their work, and it shows in every aspect of the experience. I would give this establishment a full 5 stars and plan on returning many times in the future!
Hyde Park Village holds a monthly farmers market the FIRST Sunday of every month. Be careful to mark your calendar because it comes up more quickly than you think! The booths are unique and some even entertaining, but all wanting and yearning to share information and samples of their products. Some of the favorites are the grilled cheese food truck, which I still haven't had the pleasure of trying due to the hour-long line! I always try to begin there;however, too many things distract me and I forget to keep moving from back to front! You might think there are your typical jewelry booths, but they are far from typical. They have a large organic section, fresh fruits and veggies, many types of pet treats and if you get there early, you might be lucky to grab an adjustable Gator-Seminole-Rays or your favorite team adjustable scarf for your beloved family pet! I have yet to get a Gator one! The farmer's market is pet-friendly, with water bowls along the route. The homemade bread booth has delicious bread stuffed with delicious combinations of sweet and savory ingredients for minuet prices. Another favorite is the kettle corn being made while you wait to purchase it's hot sweet sticky goodness. There is a great deal of talent at this market and I highly suggest you take a reusable bag,, get into the car, and the first Sunday in May, head to Hyde Park Village. Park in the parking garage, and head into a different place, to try new things, and purchase a variety of new and exciting temptations.
Hype Park Village is a great upscale area. It has a little bit of everything. I lived 3 blocks from the square. The whole square is about 1/4 mile squared(you can walk to everything I am going to mention below) There are great restaurants steak, Italian, burger places, ice cream shop, cookies, juice bars, donuts, bars. So they have shops beauty(Sephora), clothing apparel, sneakers, shoes, art work. etc. You can sit in the square in chairs. Play chess, sometimes yoga, or just people watch. There are parking garages off Swann avenue and also Dakota ave(main street) You can dress casual or get dressed up your choice. If you like walk or drive around outside the square there are very nice houses and mansions to look at. If you are visiting Tampa or live in Tampa you should definitely visit Hyde Park Village. You will have a great few hours!! NO photos this time, you will see it when you get there!!! Enjoy
Went to BOUZY in New Hyde Park What an absolute gem! Resturant's atmosphere is very high energy. The outside patio area is set up just perfect to people watch. The dining room is hidden in the back like a speak easy. Everyone wants to sit back there. Definitely need resveration to get in the dining area. The employees go above & beyond to get whatever you need. Nicole & Cam know what they're doing behind the bar. Quick, fast , & friendly I saw Courtney, the manager, talking with all the tables, and all the patrons had nothing but nice things to say about her Overall, the restaurant is well run and organized. The food is absolutely delicious. The filet was cooked to perfection. Lobster pasta with squid ink was to die for. Beef carpaccio was perfect & the best tri color beet salad I ever had. Bouzy is new and a definite place to stop by. I highly recommend
Absolutely love this area! Shared some photos from different times I’ve gone (usually to grab a cupcake from sprinkles, browse the Anthropologie, west elm, and Canvas store) and sat by the beautifully detailed fountain. It’s a great place to people watch or eat/ drink/ maybe even make candles with friends. You can even take a cooking class at Sur La Table. The area has really evolved in the last 5 years and I’m glad the little community is thriving because I never want it to go away. If you’re looking for something to do on a weekend day, this place will keep you busy for hours! Last time I went to catch up with a friend we started at brunch and stayed until sun down. Ps try the buddy brew coffee!
We enjoyed walking through this beautiful and lively restaurant and retail village. We window shopped before heading to our candle making reservations at Candle Pour which is a MUST try for date night or girls day out. The shops range from upscale to boutique chic and each is unique, spacious and a delight to discover. We were kindly greeted and had welcoming conversations at every shop we entered which added to the experience. There's so many places to see. I even had a chance to finally check out a true Capital One Cafe. Parking was hassle free even for a Sunday (we parked in the garage). This is definitely THE spot for a relaxing time with family, friends, a date or exploring alone.
The free parking structure I was directed to was insane. It had the lowest ceiling I've ever seen. And The width of the parking spaces were, I am not exaggerating, so short it was impossible to fit anything bigger than a miniature car in them. That is if you don't mind your car getting door dings. I drove all the way to the top and every spot was too small. After that you have to make a 20 point turn around and drive against the incoming cars to get out. I was praying in each turn that I wouldn't get nailed head on. Then I got to thinking maybe it's designed that was to deter people in cars from visiting. Which is fine, if so. Therefore I live and learn.
The Hyde Park Village Circle in downtown Tampa is a cute, upscale and eclectic place to eat, shop, stroll, people watch or even attend a quick Yoga class. There are also great neighborhoods within walking distance for those who like to be able to walk to nearby cafes, coffee bars, flower shops, or for a meal. I even saw a childcare business, dog grooming and pet sitting. In other words, Hyde Park has a lot going on most any time of the day or evening. Bottom line: Hyde Park offers a beautiful atmosphere for those who are willing to pay a bit more. A lovely place to window-shop, people-watch and have a gelato
Hyde Park Village is most definitely a top tier shopping district thats set exactly in the heart of this historical section of Tampa, Florida. I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a nice evening at Cinebistro which is a dining theater. This place has a five star ( ) menu to choose from not to mention a bar with very experienced bartenders who don't mind letting you savor the alcohol in your drink . The fact of ordering at the seat that you'll be enjoying the movie from was pleasure in itself . I definitely recommend people to come and enjoy this atmosphere.
I love Hyde Park Village for so many reasons! I love the iconic fountain of course. The shops/restaurants around are all amazing too(Lululemon + a cute dog shop). And if you love amazing margs and tacos I highly recommend Bartaco!!! I love that it’s all walking distance to Bayshore Blvd and the beautiful bay views. Plus they have the cutest pop ups at Halloween/Christmas time for photo ops! Overall this is a beautiful place and we’re lucky to have it in Tampa Bay!
Cute area to hangout and check-out a few shopping stores and dining establishments! I recommend grabbing a cupcake from Sprinkles or a popsicle across the street. They have a pumpkin patch during the fall and other things they do during specific seasons! Sometimes, students gather here to study and whatnot. I recommend parking in the parking garage connected to this plaza, as there are only a few limited street/parallel parking spots.
A little square, I felt in a labyrinth to get there, I could say in the beautiful heart of Tampa, old big trees are the guardians, high end stores and sophisticated restaurants, the feeling is getting into an historical neighborhood! What a beautiful Park! I valet my car and went to eat at the Meat Market, I’m very well impress with the quality service and extraordinaire food. Certainly I’ll come back to this romantic Park!
Trendy area of Tampa and a great place to visit. Good for biking, dog walking, strolling. Variety of upscale shops to visit. Coffee, bakery, ice cream, kitchen, clothing and more. Fast food, fine and casual dining, indoor and out. Two on site parking garages. Great place to laze and meander on a morning or afternoon. Awesome choices available to sit, order and people watch.
It was pretty and had a few shops/restaurants throughout. It seems more of a local place rather than tourist place. The shops were Ulta, Francesca’s, Anthropologie, etc which you can find anywhere. I was expecting more souvenir shops. I would definitely check out Sprinkles though which is on that strip. Sprinkles is a delicious cupcake place!
Definitely a place to check out!! Nice to walk around. High class place. Around the area is a nice neighboorhood with nice houses to look at. Also a nice park with playgrounds and swings. So many different shops and places to eat here. there are some seats/tables/benches around so you can just sit and relax without having to buy things
I absolutely love walking around Hyde Park village!! There are so many unique and interesting shops to explore too. From gourmet popsicles to fruit juice bars to unique paper craft stores, plant shops, fashion, and indoor/outdoor dining. There is a free parking garage that I always park in. I've never had a problem getting a spot
Excellent service and food with a trendy atmosphere. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The food and drinks came out in a timely manner. The food was all very fresh and served hot. There is a free parking garage just south of the restaurant about a block away, which makes it very convenient. Valet doesn't open until 6 pm.
Hyde park is always a place to come visit for a lunch or dinner spot! Has great restaurant choices as well as dessert spots. Very family friendly and pet friendly too! They host markets and festivals every so often. The shops in the surrounding plaza are also great for window shopping .Super cute place to come relax too
Very nice area, boutique shops and some fancy restaurants. An uncommon treat is the Cupcake ATM. Definitely not a waste of money, the frosting and bottom portion were all very good, not your general run of the mill cupcake from your local supermarket. Parking can be difficult, many people walk around. Go check it out!
Friendly not rushed, comfortable enjoyable experience. Contempary atmosphere. Full Service salon. Pedicure, manicures, Lashes and Waxing. Gel and Acrylics. Located right on Platt and Blvd. immaculate work with attention to details. Convenient parking on east side of building. Ask for Lynn tell them I sent you! :)
Hyde Park Village always has a fun vibe no matter what time of day. Lots of cafe’s, boutiques and even a cupcake ATM what’s better than that?! Oh parking.... There’s a parking garage centrally located! *Bonus* LuLu offers free yoga classes and they fill up so check the schedule and arrive early. …
This review is for Oddfellows! Brand new ice cream store! Such a cute place and the ice cream was really good! I had the cherry cheesecake! Employees were smiling and seemed to be happy. Doesn't look like this place is on the Google map yet but hopefully they see this review! …
The shopping village as it would be has many great shops and restaurants. Parking can be a bit difficult but there is a parking garage at the end of the center should you not find street parking. All the parking is metered so be sure to use the Parkmobile app to pay by plate park.
We vacation often in Tampa. We never knew this place existed!! It's the cutest little village. Tons of shopping and food options. We also drove around the neighborhood, and the homes are STUNNING. If you're in the area, also stop by the Candle Pour and make yourself a candle!!!
Lots of activities occur on a monthly basis. Check out the Sunday market. Tons of tasty options. I've eaten and shopped at most of the locations and everyone is always pleasant. From upscale to casual, it's always a good time and expanding. Free parking garages is a huge plus.
Beautiful area and plenty of stores around. If you are able try to visit the 1st weekend of the month. They have a huge farmers market with a plethora of vendors. Dogs are welcome and Police presence is on point. Prices are reasonable, just get ready to walk and bring a hat.
A hidden gem in the heart of Tampa. We met friends here for a coffee and we were blown away by the place. It was a bit like crossing into Disney World as it was so clean and picturesque. The shops and cafes were, perhaps, a little bit pricey but had a good range of products.
Really enjoyed this outdoor shopping place! They had a variety of interesting stores and restaurants to eat at too. I ate at bar taco and that was good. Very aesthetically pleasing to the eye and kept very clean. No litter and I felt very safe. Would come again!
Hard to find a parking spot after 10am, this place is demanded, families and pets everywhere Stores inside and all around of the village..coffe shops, gym, restaurants of high standing as the brand new Ro at the corner of W Swann Ave and S Oregon Ave.
Nice restaurant but the wait to be seated took a long time. I went mid week at 8pm so didn't think it would be busy. Food was good and the drinks, sat on the outside area. Glad I got one closer to me so will definitely be trying that one out next.
Loved Hyde Park Village. Upscale, but relaxed, atmosphere. A man playing a harp in the park, ritzy retailers where you can window-shop till you drop, and sophisticated restaurants make walking around Hyde Park Village a very pleasant experience.
Wonderful place for a date night or happy hour with friends. Tons of food and drink options to chose from and cute boutiques. Rather pricey but it's worth it. P.S. Make sure to check out their Sunday Fresh Market- first Sunday of every month!
No always a great time in Hyde Park where there are fabulous restaurants like On Swann, Buddy Brew for coffee, boutique shops, and fabulous for people watching. Great energy and live music at the monthly farmers market. A variety of vendors.
Fun atmosphere! Lots of shopping and eating variety. There are a bunch of different sweets around as well. Love the docking area. We will definitely be back. Seen a bunch of dolphins swimming close by dock! Very awesome! Lots of beauty here!
This was my first time visiting Hyde Park Village, and I was very happy with my visit! They have a dedicated parking lot, and in the village, there are several stores from coffee shops to apparel. We visited the Capital One coffee shop and
I like that they don't charge for parking. After you're there for a few hours and have paid several hundreds of dollars to eat and shop the least they can do is let your park for free. It's a nice place to walk around and have a good meal.
Beautiful at night and lots of restaurants and shops. Bartaco and hippo pops were amazing! Always love to shop in Sur La Table and Downtown Dogs. Buddy Brew coffee is a great place to. The Sunday Market is a go to for us every month v
This is a beautiful park to go shopping, eating or simply go for a walk. We found a nice Italian restaurant we ate lunch at and the food was delicious. They have two parking structures with no fee for visitors of the park.
Nice place to stroll around, lots of good shops to see and then the best thing is, just around the corner we found a kid playground that my son can enjoy. It has a lot of bench and table to do some outdoor dining as well.
Hyde park village is a very upscale shopping district nestled into a historically rejuvenated area of Tampa. Lots of shopping in the area, lunch and dinner resteraunt locations and nice coffee shops with plenty of WiFi.
Went for the first time. Ordered me Royal bacon cheese burger with some fries in the side. Sat outside…Good was great, workers are very friendly and bathrooms are clean. Nice place to hangout with friends and family.
This is one of my favorite spots to hang out in Tampa. I love all of the stores and restaurants in the area. There are also always nice cars to see and plenty of people to watch as you enjoy a nice meal or treat!
This is a great area. Tasty restaurants and quality stores. Great on a sunny day to stroll about and window shop, grab a few drinks. We being the kids during the daytime. At night it's more couples and singles.
Wow....what a quaint but upscale hidden gem. The best to avoid crowds because it attracts a bougie crowd... you'll pay a few bucks more, but to avoid a typically alcohol fueled loud crowd, I'll gladly pay that!
this place is a beautiful corner of the city ideal to spend an afternoon in good company, there are very nice places to eat, walk, walk, there are very interesting shops, I recommend it to spend a different day
They have great family events here! The farmers market is one of my favorites. Lots of beautiful handmade items and delicious food. They are dog friendly and even have a giant bounce house set up for kids.
This place is a very cute shopping atmosphere! We found free street parking and visited during the local farmers market. It was less produce and more artists/small business booths, but still cute and fun.
This area is beautiful with hidden gems. There are great shops and many restaurants in the area.i loved my non-alcoholic lemon drop slushy from sorrentos and my friend enjoyed her cupcake from sprinkles.
Lots of interesting stores and eateries. Especially Fig and Julep! There are lots of benches around to rest or just sit and "people watch." There's always something new or just interesting in this area.
Hyde park is a beautiful place to come hang out for a few hours or do some shopping! The coffee is good, the desserts are good and the restaurants are good. Highly recommend! And there’s free parking!
Great place, lots of people and pets. Many places to eat, drink and get your sugar fix. Maybe too crowded? Best advice is park as far away as possible and walk there. I found the walk to be fun too!
Cute little area full of shops and restaurants. So many options from high end to popping in for a sweet treat such as a cup cake or a healthy popsicle. Perfect for a nice day in Tampa weather wise!
New yet charming area to shop, have a cup of coffee or lunch. Many of my favorite stores are there such as West Elm and Anthropologie. I was pleasantly surprised to find the garage parking free.
Outside shopping mall with lots of cool shops, fine and unique dining experiences, and even an e-bike rental place. There's a delicious coffee shop and a really neat pet accessories shop too.
Very nice area. Liked the shops very much. BarTaco is awesome. Cutest little cupcake place called sprinkles. They have an ATM where you can get cupcakes, which was a little strange but cute.
This was my 1st time at this park, it was a great location, lots of activities going on, pumpkin patch, homecoming, and was a great place to propose. Beautiful moment in a beautiful park.
Delivery of balloons was dropped off here today for an event and the staff on site were amazing to work with, making everything super easy! Can't wait to get to work with them again soon!
What a fun outdoor shopping experience! A lovely little oasis, tucked away in Tampa, with great restaurants and on trend - some one of a kind - shops. I loved it and will be back soon.
Several restaurants and Cobb movie theater in this tiny Hyde Park village allows you to experience and select the right restaurants for your evening. Maybe getting too crowded though.
Every first Sunday, they have a fresh food and produce market with many vendors of all varieties. It is a nice social gathering. Come in from the east, or traffic will scare you away.
I was not pleased with the croissants. The texture was not firm and the puff pastry tasted like fat, not butter. I hope you can correct this soon as the site is very nice
It’s really beautiful here with free parking! People here seem friendly and happy!! I got to try a great coffee shop and purchased something from Sephora! Will come back!
We love this place. So much to do and see, and eat and shop lol. Restaurants to yummy donuts to great shops for clothes and cute nik naks and an amazing furniture store.
Great spot for a stroll after dinner. Lots of trees for shad and decent parking. There are plenty of great spots for a bite to eat. Watch for special events there.
Great food. Really wish they would let you add meat to the pasta dishes though! It was also very loud; we could hardly hear each other without raising our voices.
I love all the creative shops there and I go almost every week!! I totally recommend if your looking for fun things to do with a lot of different shops outdoors !
Very nice area to stroll and shop around and people watch. There are a couple garages with free parking so you can keep your vehicle out of the sun. Top notch!
Great for dining, shopping, and family walks they have all type of places to have a quick bite or amazing dinner options from casual to dress your best dining
Hyde Park Village is the best place to chill after a long week. You can find good food, coffee, ice cream, and much more. Come visit, you will love it …
Three girlfriends having lunch and walking around the lovely stores was great ! The library red telephone booth always wonderful to see. Love the day there !
Not sure how often it happens but last Sunday there was a street festival filled with vendors. It was had a variety of products on sale especially food.
This is a beautiful, cozy, and peaceful place to take your friend for a coffee, read books, have conversations.. Free closed parking available as well.
Great Vibe! Great place for Family, first dates, just walking or people watching. Restaurants are varied from pizza to filete mignon. Sweets all over!
Superb. Wowed for sure. What a great experience. Again, stunning people, sassy servers on a very funny way. What a nice area. Definitely recommend it.
Great place to walk around, shop, and dine! If you have extra time and love candles stop in at The Candle Pour ( reservations is best for weekends)!
Awesome place to walk around and some of things we found were incredible!! Had no idea all this here! The olive oil and vinegar shop is a must!!!!
Shopping and culture mixing together menorah lights me like Hyde Park Village reminds me of Pinecrest mall in cleveland, ohio no snow. …
Hyde Park village is equal to high trend neighborhood done right. This area of TAMPA is a known upscale shopping and dining district located in
Love this area. Market is always fun. We always find something new and have fun. Be warned, the area does get busy and crowded on the weekends.
First time back in like 22 years. Rainy day. No crowds. Plenty of time to browse the shops. Highly recommend the olive oil and balsamic shop.
Upscale shopping and dining. Newest hip restaurant Meat Market with its hip interior is gorgeous and pricey. Clever ATM cupcakes @$4.00 each.
Always a great time. Parking can be a challenge if you’re going during a popular time or for an event, but it’s always been worth it to me.
Really nice place. Lots of shopping stores/restaurants. Great ambiance. Friendly people. Definitely take your pet here. Highly recommend it
Went to the Sunday market, was pretty hot outside but there were many great vendors and stores/restaurants you can pop into for some AC.
Quaint part of town, loved Goody Burger! Portion sizes very generous. Breakfast French toast amazing, and atmosphere outside perfect!
Great place to unwind with friends. Lots of quaint shops and restaurants. There is free parking and lots of places to sit and relax.
It seems like every time I go there it's getting worse. The restaurants are losing their quality as their prices keep going up.
Historical DINER with free parking across the street. Great apres-movie stop. Theater right down the block. Fun shopping area.
Great place for families if they love eating outside or for an evening walk or an afternoon brunch with friends or colleagues.
Hyde Park is always just lovely. Great restaurants, boutiques and just beautiful to walk around with friends and family.
Clean, pleasant place to visit and shop. Small business owner shops. Next Generation professionals. The world's future.

Super chill super cool place to hangout with friends, family or couples. Has some amazing restaurants too.
Lots of great shopping nestled into a few square blocks. Parking can be a challenge during the holidays.
