A super bad experience indeed. The therapy’s name is Nina. After a facial, I touched my face and found that apart from my cheeks and nose, there was scrub all over, even in my hair. When I went to the front desk to talk to Nina about it, she told me to go to the restroom and remove it myself. This was the first time after so many facials that my face wasn't properly cleaned, and I was told to clean it myself. Later, when I looked in the mirror, I found that besides my skin, there were still large particles of scrub on my eyebrows and eyelashes, which I couldn't clean off no matter how hard I tried. So I approached Nina again, and she tried to blow-dry them, but it was completely ineffective. This was beyond unacceptable. Finally, when I asked for a receipt for the service, she refused to give it to me and simply sat down, refusing to communicate. When I mentioned wanting to contact her manager to provide feedback, she didn't provide me with the manager's contact information, so ridiculous! Now I'm sitting in the car, looking in the mirror, and I can still see many white particles in the corners of my temples. This service was incredibly poor, from the actual service to the after-sales support. I strongly complain about Nina herself (if that's her real name). Considering that Nina refused to provide me with the manager's contact information, if the management can see this comment, I hope you won't handle customer feedback as poorly as this employee did.

Anyone using this service be very careful! Because if you have any issues they don't really care...and that's disappointing for how expensive the service is.... I messaged and got a very bland sorry you are not happy. To me raising 2 issues of being massaged in areas that I had not asked for due to me having an injury when all I booked in for was reflexology. My neck and shoulders were massaged and due to this I slept in severe pain which is not what I went there for. Also raised the question as to why my tummy and pelvic area was being massaged when again I booked in for reflexology and even when I have had a full body massage they didn't touch me in those areas.... then a friend called who also had reflexology done at the same time to ask why she had ignored my issues and she hung up on her...... terrible service be aware.... They were not interested at all in rectifying any issues and is a poor duty of care. What was once a good place to go too has now turned into a place for me to never go to again due to the lack of support and communication received from the company/owner in regards to issues that shouldn't of happened.

Do not go here for a massage. It’s an overpriced Asian massage bar. Except worse - the room was cold (how can you relax when you are shivering). It was more of a rub than a massage - I asked twice for my therapist to increase the pressure and my request was ignored. I wrote on the information paper that I wanted a target area (upper back/shoulders) massaged. Half way through the massage, the therapist had not touched the target area so I asked for her to focus on that area. She rubbed it softly for a short time, then went back to rubbing my arms and lower back. I asked her a second time to focus on the target area and increase the pressure but she ignored me once again and then the time had run out. Waste of money - will be going elsewhere next time. I’ve had a much better massage at a walk-in massage bar at Eastlands for half the price.

My first float and the attendant at the Moonah location was 20 minutes late. I was there 10 minutes early as instructed, she should have been there before then. I had an appointment elsewhere afterwards so instead of a relaxing float, my mind was nowhere near being at rest. I did not get what was paid for. Very, very disappointing. Yes 20 minutes late. She offered to extend the next float , if I chose to book another one -ie pay more money. No time to discuss any further due to being late for my next appointment. I refused nothing.

I have been to the Hobart float spa a handful of times now and have experienced their Float, facials and massages, I have LOVED the experience every single time, the lovely welcoming staff are amazing and keep everything so calm and relaxed. I have tried other float spas in Hobart and on the main land and they just don’t compare to Hobart float spas cleanliness, comfort and kind attentive staff. I always leave feeling so refreshed and energised. Remember: Self care is a priority not a luxury. Make time for you.

Hobart Float Spa is an amazing experience and truly a great place to decompress and relax. Having been there twice, and having tried the float spa, sauna and the massage I can say for certain it is all worth the time and money. The best service is by far the massage with an extremely experienced staff and a relaxing and friendly environment you will always feel comfortable and looked after with a main emphasis on a great relaxing service. Highly highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

I had never had a salt water float spa experience before. It was very relaxing & therapeutic. My massage afterwards was extra beneficial following on from the float, with the firm pressure required to relieve my aching muscles. With focus on the breath, I felt very relaxed and calm following my massage, with chakra therapy involving beautiful sounds and being held in peace. I highly recommend Hobart Float Spa and all their therapeutic treatments.

Great massage but poor service after, had to email them over 4 times to send an invoice for a health insurance claim. They advised me that sometimes it doesn’t work with Qantas to claim but actually their receipts are fake for remedial massage. They’re not registered therapists with NIB which should have been advised at the start not “sometimes it doesn’t work” THEY ARE NOT REGISTERED! So I essentially paid more than I needed to because of this.

My partner and I walked in on a Friday afternoon and were fortunate enough to get 2 float pods right then and there! It was a lovely, relaxing way to spend an afternoon. The staff are so hospitable and the chocolate and tea at the end was such a nice touch. We’ve done float tanks elsewhere and those have been more clinical whereas this experience was much more spa-like. We would definitely return next time we’re in Hobart!

My mum and I went to Tasmania on holiday in early April. We decided to have a massage and float before we left so we could head home rejuvenated. Best decision we ever made. The staff were calm, friendly and made us both feel at home. The massage and float were amazing. We would go there before and after our holiday next time. Thank you, to the amazing masseuses with magic hands and a wonderful attitude to their work.

Had the singing bowl sound therapy treatment recently and I recommend this for relaxation and meditation. The brass bowls are struck to create a gong-like sound that calms your nervous system. The bowls are moved over your body so that the airwave vibrations soothe and relax you. I did a 30 min session but next time will do an hour.

I had such a relaxing experience in the float spa and with a massage. The staff were friendly and professional and the space is so peaceful. I was given a complimentary sound therapy and tea at the end of the session which was above and beyond A really wonderful experience if you want to relax and take some time for yourself

This was my first float tank experience and I will define going back for more! For $75 an hour of complete peace and quiet, floating around in warm water in darkness, just made me feel 100% better. The staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is very peaceful so you instantly relax as you walk through the door.

Omg... this was so needed right now. This is the ONLY thing I have found blocks out everything in my mind completely. The best relaxation method ever. Better than floating on a cloud. Today I tried the float tank experience and massage package. This was my first time in a float tank. The entire experience was extremely relaxing and therapeutic. The service provided at Hobart Float wellness spa was 1st class. Would most certainly do again and would highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful massage and float spa. Right as we walked in the atmosphere was relaxing and the rooms were all beautiful. All staff were really welcoming, and they ensured that we had a lovely experience the entire time, and we sat and drank some tea to finish it all off.
