Best spa in Tassie! I am a loyal customer of The Sanctuary, going every few weeks for a hydrabrasion facial. Alice and her staff are so knowledgeable, calm, caring, professional and just all round fabulous! I was recommended by Alice to try this facial for my skin type and I cannot argue with the results. After regular visits with hydrabrasion my skin is soft, hydrated and just looks so darn good. As someone who has regular break outs and really sensitive skin, it has been the greatest investment I have ever made in my skin. The girls use amazing Aussie products and the whole experience is just incredible, start to finish! You NEED to go!

Keryn was amazing in organising my surprise outing for my wife, sister in law and mother in law. As a husband organising from interstate they were helpful professional and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble, the experience was second to none, so happy I trusted them with everything! Even got little updates to ensure the flowers organised from their recommended florist arrived without issue. The text confirmations also added the extra piece of mind that everything was on track. What a find! From the moment I walked in the experience was wonderful. The environment is so relaxing and inviting. All of the ladies are so lovely and friendly. Micala was my provider for my facial and she transported me to my own oasis of relaxation. Keryn gave me such an amazing education on my current skin routine and spent the time to answer all my questions. This place is a gem! Highly recommend whether you are visiting or local. The Sanctuary in Hobart is such a beautiful space, I love my regular visits. The spa is run with thought and care by the wonderful Alice, who invests in supporting Australian beauty businesses and has done meticulous research into the products she uses. The whole experience from start to finish is professional, relaxing, luxurious and everything is done with so much care and kindness. I cannot recommend highly enough :)

Today was my first time visiting The Sanctuary and it won’t be my last. I loved every minute of my treatment and the experience from walking in the door to leaving was very relaxing. Amelia was lovely - she listened to my concerns and worked with me to prepare a plan to suit my needs without being pushy or trying to sell me things I don’t need. What a beautiful little salon. I stumbled across the Sanctuary while I was visiting Hobart for work and looking for an infrared sauna. The salon is tucked away in a lovely quiet area close to CBD and feels like a little oasis. So many lovely little touches with my session, complimentary tea and coconut water, fluffy towels, not to mention the rooms were immaculately clean. I can’t wait to go back again soon!

Some of the best service I've had in Hobart. The girls here are so lovely and amazing at what they do. I've had A fair few massages in my time and I vE never felt like that had done anything. But (Amelia I think) did a fantastic job and fixing me. Kudos to Alice ,Becky and Amelia for finally having a good spa option in Hobart

Amazing experience, it was easy to find and there was heaps of parking. The decor was really carefully thought out and it was instantly relaxing from the moment you step in. Alice was lovely, she's so caring and really wants you to feel important and relaxed. I'll definitely be going back in the not so far future!

The Sanctuary is my go-to for a massage in Hobart. I have had all of the staff members and a great experience each time. Sometimes there is a little bit of noise from the coffee shop upstairs but the massages are so relaxing you quickly forget about it. A voucher is always atop my Christmas list!

I came to Tasmania (from Denver, Colorado USA) to bike the Tasmanian Trail. After my bike journey, I needed a spa day. Alice was able to take me in for a day of much needed pampering. And it was everything I had hoped for and more! When I come back to Tasmania, I’ll be sure to visit again.

Made booking for couple as birthday present for my husband. Waited for 2 weeks to be able to have massage in room for couples. And what happened...They booked it for 1 person instead 2 and ruined all surprise. Couldn’t recommend this place at all.

My visit to The Sanctuary today was the most indulgent thing I'd done for myself for a very long time. I left feeling very relaxed and zen. Mel was an excellent therapist and the entire atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing.

The Sanctuary made it very easy for me to make an appointment, Amelia was very professional and gave me the full spa experience even though I was only having a waxing service. The spa is spacious, relaxing and very clean.
