Going to the Dentist is not my favorite thing to do! But at Holland Cross Dental Centre, I feel quite relaxed. From the moment I step in, the friendly and very efficient Receptionists are welcoming. Usually, the Dentist and/or the Hygienist are on time and I rarely wait too long. The clinic is very professionally designed from the waiting area to the various treatment rooms. It is immaculately clean. While being treated, I can watch TV (not loud at all) and relax. A large screen facing me shows my teeth, which is fascinating. When I needed an implant, Dr. Marc McCaulaugh completed the procedure over a few months with amazing accuracy. I volunteered to have every step of the procedure photographed so that it can be shown to Dr. McCaulaugh’s student. My hygienist is very gentle and ensures that I get a break every now and then so that I can close my mouth, she always lets me know what she is doing. Her attention to details is very good. She ensures that I am comfortable in the seat and takes time to put my head in a comfortable position while doing the cleaning. When comparing the treatments cost, I am of the opinion that they are very reasonable and getting a top notch service like that at that price is great value for money paid. I would like to express my appreciation to Dr. McCaulaugh and his entire Team for looking after me so well. After doing my due diligence (calling a few places to determine the rates, the services offered, etc), I decided to go there as a new patient as it was also close to my home. I was really careful when I called for an appointment to ask for an estimate of the total price including x-rays. The exam itself was very thorough and the dentist competent. Somehow, without any prior discussion, I was asked to go and see the dental hygienist right after the dental exam. At no point was I asked if I needed, wanted, or wished to receive a cleaning treatment, and so as this was my first appointment there, I assumed it was part of the new patient exam, especially given that I had not booked an appointment for anything else than a new patient exam (I am pretty sure the call was recorded so that is solid legal proof). When the time came to pay, the amount asked from me was almost double what I was told the maximum fee would be when I made the appointment. I was in complete shock. I do not have an insurance, I am not a permanent government employee, this is why I carefully asked all the necessary questions before booking an appointment. I felt robbed, lied to and betrayed. NEVER AGAIN. The world is tough enough as it is. Can we try at least to make it more decent here at home in Canada?

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Holland Cross Dental Centre, and I must say that my experience was exceptional in every way possible. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. The entire staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. As a new patient, it was as though I had been coming here for years! The waiting area was clean and comfortable, and I didn't have to wait long at all before being seen. Dr. Ganske is an absolute gem. He takes the time to explain procedures and answer all of your questions. He genuinely cares about his patients' well-being and comfort, which is so reassuring when you're in the dentist's chair. Scheduling appointments is a breeze, and they are very accommodating when it comes to fitting you in for emergencies. I highly recommend this dental office to anyone in need of dental care. They truly go above and beyond to provide top-notch service. Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful experience and for taking such good care of me!

I was always well treated at this practice until recently. I called to book a consult so I could get work done under conscious IV sedation with the Dr. I was used to and starting to trust. This was all clearly confirmed on the phone and I was reassured that while an associate of my regular dentist did the consult, my regular Dr. would be doing the work. After paying ($346) for the consult and all x-rays, I awaited the call for the appointment. Weeks later I was told that I could not have the work completed under IV sedation as my Dr. was working elsewhere and no longer did filings or regular extractions, which I require. Instead, they referred me to another clinic, much further away, where I would be required to pay another consult fee ($160), not to mention walking into a practice (very difficult for me) of strangers and starting over again. I feel bad writing this after the good care of the past, but was really hurt, then angry, at how this was done.

After 30 years destroying my teeth as a smoker, when I quit, my front teeth began to shift. I lost Bone and receded gums. I also have a debilitating fear of dentists. After finally finding a dentist I could trust, I had two front teeth removed. But then I was sent to Dr. McCullough. I needed two implants. Over the period of a year, I went into though Bone grafting, lots of stitches, implants, and finally teeth. And Through it all Dr. McCullough was patient, respectful of my fear, understanding of my bad gag reflex, and he and his team were simply amazing. I now have two brand new front teeth, that are so perfectly done, so perfectly colour matched, you would never know they were implants. Mark and his entire team, and everyone at Holland Cross dental are so engaging, so friendly, I just can’t say enough about them. I will always be thankful to them. And so is my wife, who didn’t like my hockey good look.

My consultation with Dr Mark McCullough was very pleasant but unfortunately, everything went very bad just afterwards. The cost estimate came back 2 days later and it was extremely expensive. I looked at the line items and saw errors and omissions along with same items charged several times. The notes did not reflect the conversation I had with the doctor. I talked to Kelly (the doctor's assistant) about the matter and she acknowledged the duplicates but said she sees no problem with that. I reminded her that the 250. consultation fee I paid was supposed to be applied against the treatment should I accept to proceed but she quickly brushed it off by saying that it had already been priced in showing no proof of that. I asked to speak to the dentist but they would not let me, so, either the employees are turning business away without the doctor's knowledge or the doctor is in on it and fooling the people.

Had a loose front tooth and went there outta convenience to my work! 1st time in the chair maybe 15 - 20 minutes almost 300 bucks ! Go in to get tooth removed and was an awful experience!! I was frightened and scared and wasn't exactly ready to lose my front tooth but before I knew it the tooth was out!! Immediately a apparent partial was put in and 2 mos later this 1 tooth partial began to chip and not 2 mos later my so called clippie began to chip and then break right off!! They don't direct bil yur insurance so ya gotta fork out up front!! Maybe my opinion but I will never ever go and see this dentist ever!! So dissatisfied with how much it costs to get satisfaction!! The rest of the staff are genuine and treat you great and kudos to Kathy but not at all happy with this place!! Shop around!-

I am very happy with my experiences at Holland Cross Dental. The hygienist and dentist were calming and attentive. I’m phobic of going to the dentist, which I told them. They take more time and care with me than absolutely necessary, and made the visit much less stressful for me. I previously switched to another dentist who was closer to my home. The care was nothing like Holland Cross, so I have returned. I won’t make the mistake of leaving again. I’m grateful for the care I get there, an$ I also appreciate the beauty of the reception area and professionalism of ALL the staff.

I have been going here for dentistry and hygiene for 20 or so years. I recommend them to friends and family, and newcomers to Ottawa, routinely. It is a busy practice with a large team (which allows them to adopt leading technology, and keep their skills cuting edge) but not so large it's impersonal or hard to make an appointment. The dental team there are industry leaders, and have good chairside manner with the full range of patients: kids, nervous patients for example. Staff tend to stay there for a long time - a good sign. I fully recommend this practice.

I can't remember my Dentists name and I'm really sorry about that because he was fantastic. Dr H? The guy filed my chipped front teeth for free and acted like it was nothing. I truly appreciate this. It bothered me for years. He was really understanding about my financial situation at this time, lucky I still have benefits, and he didn't pressure anything. You can find the Ontario Dental Association Fee Guide by the Ontario Dental Association online pretty easily. They're fair here. Thank you seriously Dr. H. Made me appreciate my smile again =)

I have terrible teeth. Despite all my brushing and flossing, they just don't seem to be very strong. After one earlier miss with a hygienist who said he couldn't help me, I have now found my ideal hygienist here. I would also add that Dr Hawley is a great dentist. He doesn't do work just for the sake of doing work and understands when some things are possible due to insurance restrictions. Non judgmental and just wants to ensure you have the best dental health possible. I recommend this dental office for sure!

I had to correct some filling-work done at another clinic and the service at Holland Cross was impeccable. I mean, they are fully knowledgeable, equipped with the latest, work seamlessly together (*dentist, nurse, receptionist, host, etc...), everyone I came in touch with, in other words. They were polite, quick, caring, and efficient. Most of all, I felt I was in good hands...trusted them with my care, and came out with a corrected restoration. They were able to squeeze me in for a last minute dental emergency that ended up in minor work. Very efficient staff and good service. Loved my hygienist and front line staff, actual dentist was in too quick to assess, and prices were moderate-high., but yet again i don't have coverage so maybe that's why. I still believe that hygienists should get more support/compensation as they do so much work and always are the ones that have to give you the customer satisfaction experience.

My dentist is Dr. Hill since 2001, I love this place and the way he values his employees and offer proper training, and the way they clean my teeth properly compare to 2 other places I went isn't even comparable. He won't do work for nothing, meaning if he can save your teeth, he will and spare you the cost if he can. I also never felt any pressure for selling me anything, I completely trust him and his team... the proof is that his staff stays with him for a long time.

Normally, the thought of going the the dentist makes me very anxious. I have the Holland Cross team to thank for their exceptional service that changed this for me. The friendly receptionists had everything organized prior to my appointment. Jamie, the hygienist was thorough and professional and explained what she was doing from start to finish. Dr. Saray, was very knowledgeable and gentle! Thanks Holland Cross for a great experience. You’ve got a patient for life!

It took me some time to find the perfect place that I could trust to get some cosmetic dentistry done. I finally found Dr. Ganski, I immediately felt like I was in great hands and was always available to answer any questions or concerns without any hesitation. Great team of dentists! Very professional staff. My dental hygienist Melissa is the best. She is very knowledgeable and interesting. She explains the process as you're going through it and her expertise is very comforting. Time flies by. All of their staff is very happy and polite. It looks like a great place to work. Great location for buses and there is a ton of parking. The place is pretty clean. I'm surprised that this place doesn't get extremely busy especially since it's close to government offices. I would have thought they'd be jam packed at lunch but I guess they have everything working like a fine tuned engine. There aren't a ton of shops though.

I have had a lot of root canals done in my day and this is by far the best experience I have ever had. Dr Brett Hawley and Michela made me feel at home and it was quick and easy! They were upfront about all costs and I had zero surprises checking out. I strongly recommend him as he is great at what he does and just an all around good guy.

I am a patient of Dr. Hill and I have to say he is the best dentist I have ever had. I will honestly not know what to do if he ever retires. My hygienist is also so awesome and so loveable. Everyone in the office is awesome all around. Even if I was ever to move to the other end of the city, I would still commute to this office.

It had been quite some time since I had seen a dentist and was nervous for several reasons. The staff are so friendly. They answer your questions and walk you through what you are doing and why. They will joke around with you and share things about themselves. Personally I loved that, I’m actually looking forward to going back!

I have been going to Holland Cross for my dental care for over 25 years. I have always been treated with the highest attentiveness and courtesy . I also am amazed at the professional and business like atmosphere from the time I arrive till the time leave on every visit. I would recommend Holland Cross to anyone.

I'm not understanding why I was scheduled with such a rude dental hygienist. I've never experienced this in any dental office ever! Complete turn off I just left. I don't want a person like that in my mouth!!! It's unfortunate because I really appreciate Dr. Hill and the reception staff are great as well.

A good place to open a small business, it's a Strategic place in Ottawa near Tunney's Pasture station and the new O Train. There are many companies already open there. There's a big residential area nearby too. You can work on this area to market your products / services to the prospect target market.

Exceptional service and the staff go above and beyond to make it a great experience. I have been going for 10 years and don't have a complaint. They did one appointment mixup recently; however, staff scheduled me in for same day cleaning and provided a lovely note/giftcard for my trouble.

I wish I could give this place a ZERO star rating. The people at HOLLAND CROSS Dental are so rude. I have never been treated so poorly at any other establishment. They are mean, aggressive and terrible. Do not go to this dental clinic if you want to be treated with dignity and respect.

Everyone at Holland Cross works together to make your dental experience a good one. Both my parents and all my siblings have grown up seeing Dr. Turner and recieved top quality care from him and all the hygienists. I recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new dentist.

For someone with severe dental phobia, a 5 star review says a lot. Dr. Hawley and his team are amazing, always kind and understanding of my fear. Without this team of terrific people, I don't know if I'd even be going to the dentist at all. They really are wonderful!

Holland Cross is close to the bus system. I go here to go to the dentist who is quite amazing, clean and professional and are very gentle in their approach. I'm always impressed by the quality of Holland Cross dental work and will always recommend friends go here.

Has a Starbucks, bare bones pharmacy, and a small food court featuring a Gabriel's Pizza. Washrooms are all the way at the back, past the ... Whatever is on that corner. I wanna say it's a dry cleaner, or shoe repair place, but it might be a tuck shop.

I’ve been afraid of going back to the dentist for a long time. After the pain in my wisdom tooth started to feel unbearable, I had no choice but to get it taken out. Dr. Hawley made the whole experience very comfortable and I did not feel a thing!

I've been seeing Dr. Ganske for a few months now and I have nothing but good things to say about him and the rest of the team! They are thorough and efficient in their practice, and despite it being the dentist, I always enjoy my visits.

I’ve been going to this office since 2011, and if It wasn’t for Summer being good and personable, it would of got a 1 star. The way they handled Dr. Turner leaving is very poor.

Mostly go here for quick lunch. There is pizza, Thai, Chinese, Starbucks and Subways. Note after lunch most food places are very quite Also think most are closed on the weekend.
