I recently attended this Home Sense location, and until this visit had always received exceptional service from their employees at other locations. the lady at the checkout counter was less than helpful when asking to put an item on hold due to not having our wallet on us. I then called the store the following day to see if the item was still there and the associate advised that they are not expected to look for merchandise over the phone for customers (who meanwhile was completely rude and had an awful tone). I then spoke with the Manager Suzanne who also advised the same policy. Now I understand if the store was completely busy and they just didn't have time, but what ever happened to helping a customer and going the extra mile. Not to mention this location was completely dead. I do not recommend going to this Home Sense location unless you want to leave feeling frustrated from the poor customer service.

I love Homesense and all their locations. Their staff are always very helpful. What some people don't realize is that staff are extremely busy and simply don't have time for people who are too lazy to do the leg work themselves and use the phone to do their shopping. These people don't realize the world doesn't revolve around them. I certainly don't expect staff to drop everything and to search high and low for an item. It's Homesense. If it's in the store, then you buy it. If not, oh well. If you have reasonable expectations, you will have no complaints with this store. If you are self-absorbed, then you'll be unhappy.

I use this store because it is convenient for me and because I love their products. However it is such an unfriendly store to shop at. Ask anyone on the floor for help and you are guaranteed a long face, muted / grumbling and reluctant response. Really, if you hate your job that much, look for another one. And management, can you not see how miserable your staff are? What's going on? In store training perhaps? I agree with the other reviewer, Homesense should brand themselves as Customer No Service!!

This store is ok. Some of the staff are friendly. Today, I purchased two of the same items...one was discounted to 13.00 the other still marked at regular price of 14.99. When I asked the Manager if he could match the clearance price...he made me feel like I was asking for the world. Rolling his eyes, and in a voice that screamed frustration he begrudgingly gave me the matching clearance price. I might not come back. PS I've spent close to 500.00 there over the last month!

My go-to Homesense! It is small in size, but big on amazing finds. I've purchased a number of things (some of which I probably didn't need!) and they've helped me turn my house into a home. The paintings are definitely worth sorting through, as are the throws and food. Their furniture section is simple but good quality. Customer service can be hit or miss, but is usually ok. Washrooms are clean, as is the rest of the store.

I hate this stupid store, I go at least once every two weeks and browse and buy things I dont need and constantly want to redecorate my apartment! Seriously though, this is my favorite place, its just so nice to go browse the shelves and redesign rooms in my head (and buy a new mug every time I go... ) its also pet-friendly, which is the best because my dog and I are attached by an umbilical cord.

i stopped to get a present for my boyfriends step mom, asked for some paper to throw on top of the bag and ri-ri (i believe her name was) WRAPPED IT, like offered to wrap it up, i was expecting a couple pieces of paper thrown on top but she took a good 5 minutes to wrap it super nice for me. sweetest girl EVER - 10/10 recommend this winners above and beyond customer service

I can say the staff were vary unhappy, and there was lots of stock, I’ve never seen it super busy but when I have tried to repeatedly ask questions on different visits they are too busy to even be nice. It’s super close to me but I’m more likely to drive to any other location or hide from the unfriendly staff when I’m at the store.

I bought two nightstands from them, and when I came to return them, the Manager said one of the tags on them doesn’t match the receipt, and she didn’t want to return them. I don’t know how something like that happened, but make sure those young cashiers scanning your things right otherwise you’ll never get you money back

I went to this place and their customer service is beyond satisfaction. They even covered my furniture so that it wont have scratches while I'm transporting it to my car. The place is clean and tidy and the arrangement of furniture and accent materials are harmoniously put together.

The older girl I dealt with who I assume is the manager in the back is very rude and mean. Treats her co workers like trash. No appreciation for customers time. Horrible to deal with. The young girl at the register was very sweet and helpful. Sorry you get treated the way you do.

I attend this store almost weekly. I love this store and it's ever changing product. Sorry, but I'm not trying to make best friends with the staff so I don't care about their attitude. Sorry that their attitude makes the other reviewers have a bad day. Get over it! lol

This is probably our favourite one in the city. Tons of parking and big store to walk around. Always walk out of here with something and this time found a large selection of pillows. Good prices and friendly staff. Definitely 5 stars.

This is one of the nicest Homesense I've ever visited. The employees are friendly. Muna H helped me; she was a very helpful employee who helped me in finding what I needed. She also placed my bags on the cart, which I appreciated.

Love the friendly staff, always smiling and very helpful. Especially the sexy nerdy one with medium length blondish hair. Her smile was so genuine you could tell she loved working there. Her boss should really give her a raise.

I love my trips to Homesense! You never know what kind of awesome things you will find! Staff is kind and polite and they do not bother you. There is a few of them so if you need help it is never too far away.

Was very surprised as how organized the entire store was. They should model this to other locations. The staff were all very friendly and adhering to the Covid-19 protocols.
