"I love the wonton with noodles it was delicious I think it was 5"
"Their fried rice is probably my favorite of queens/brooklyn/NYC"
"Hong Kong style food in Queens! Prices are good and the food is excellent"
"Not the greatest taste but it’s ok"
"I only had the hong kong style rice roll (churn fan) with curry fish and it was good but for $7"
I love the wonton with noodles it was delicious I think it was 5.50 or maybe 6.50! Only downside was the drink, I got a Jasmine milk tea and it was just not good. Tasted like watered down milk...with hints of maybe Jasmine powder not sure but it was only around $2 without the bubbles.
Their fried rice is probably my favorite of queens/brooklyn/NYC. Everythjng tastes just like the food I grew up with in China. It's my regular spot to order from when I need my Chinese food fix and I need it often! Prices are amazing for the quantity and quality of food!
Hong Kong style food in Queens! Prices are good and the food is excellent. I love their Hong Kong style milk tea! Their Cart noodles, Dai Pai Dong Cheong Fun, Pan fried dried shrimp cheong fun are some of my favorites to get here! They do accept card but tax is charged.
Not the greatest taste but it’s ok. 3 stars just for the fact there is no restroom. They say to use next door laundromat but I witnessed the owner of the laundromat come in to tell the restaurant staff to stop telling their customers to use their restroom!
I only had the hong kong style rice roll (churn fan) with curry fish and it was good but for $7.50 I won't be back. It only came with 5 fish balls which was rediculous. Normally the size of this dish at other places would have been $2.50 or at most $3.00.
Ordered delivery from here and was very pleased with the food. The standout for me were the cheong fun w/ peanut sauce and curry fish balls, super fresh and just reminded me of my childhood. The meal sets and cart noodles too were delicious
We've been looking for a place that sells snacks and dishes that we had in Hong Kong and Singapore and we finally found it. We tried the popcorn chicken, sticky rice chicken, fried chicken bun, and the mushroom and chicken dumpling noodle.
Very nostalgic looking HK cafe (Cha Chang Tang) style, and even more authentic tasting Canto Food. The stocking Milk tea is one of the best in NYC. If you are looking for an authentic HK place I would definitely recommend this place ! More
Hong Kong Taste Cafe offers a variety of HK street food. I like their HK style milk tea, as it wasn't too sweet. I recommend their popcorn chicken - it's got the right amount of crunch and salt to go along with the juicy bits of chicken.
Took them 30 minutes just to make a bacon sandwich and they blamed me for writing the order down which was their job. I was the first to order before the lunch rush came in at 11:50. With my egg sandwich I ordered fried mini buns which I
I wouldn’t recommend anything other than their bubble tea. Ordered their cart noddles with vegetables and opted for thick egg noddles with beef brisket; couldn’t have been more disappointed. I received instant noodles instead, broth was
This place would be good if they didn’t completely break down during busy/rush hours. I’ve been here many times during off hours (early in the morning, or weekdays) and it was fine. Then, one weekend around 10am we called in to place an
It was ok... I ordered the fish ball cheong fun combo to go. The trimmings were underwhelming. The sesame seeds was only a few specs, the sauce is closed to dried in under half an hour. I had to add more sauce on my own. After I added
Satay beef over rice is my favorite food here, must try. I also love curry fish balls, although the taste is not similar to what i used to eat in Mongkok, hk, it is already the best in nyc. I would highly recommend this cafe.
Wow, I have been looking for a proper chinese restaurant that delivers to brooklyn for some time now. So far this place is the best I've had, GREAT price, authentic, wide selection and just really, my new favourite spot.
HK style tea w milk is good n not too sweet. The cart noodles are soso but the other dishes are fine. Overall food tastes are light. Beware that they have a lot of take out orders so waiting time for foods is a bit long.
I was very happy to found a spot that offer Hong Kong Cafe, knowing it is fast and it’s breakfast. But instead should be called Hong Kong restaurant because everything is done more than 35 mins (it is their norm).
The neighborhood HK food spot. Really hits the spot when you are craving it. Like any other spot with good food, can't expect the service or atmosphere to be excellent. But the food, that's the highlight. More
Nice small shop with lots of options for eating. Price was okay food was okay. They make the food when you order so it's hot, if you're in a hurry call ahead. Has the cafe feels and gives you a Hong Kong taste
This cafe is wonderful honestly. Service is quite fast and staff are very friendly. Also, I recommend you to try the Chicken popcorn and Chicken dumplings with noodles, they're a ok price and delicious!
Good place, reasonable price, the only thing I wish they had was the sitting arrangements. There are very limited place to sit. Overall a solid place authentic Cantonese Cafe!
Bubble teas not good , slushy very sweet I don’t recommend at all the customer service very poor and slow . But the place feels good and comfortable and the food looks good
The food was great, when I asked for spicy popcorn chicken, it was actually spicy! However, the cleanliness could use more work. When I came in, there was lot of
Tastes good and fresh. I also like that they have several noodle options for their dishes. I would def come back to try other dishes when im in the area …
This spot is a good spot if you want to get close to traditional chinese food. Not chinese take out but has a variety from simple street food to dishes. More
I just knew this place and i already come back 3 times. I had wonton noodle, dumpling, and popcorn chicken. All of them are good to eat. More
Really enjoy this quaint Hong Kong style eatery in Elmhurst for their quick service and flavorful dishes.
Food was alright, waited a bit but not bad. The atmosphere was nice and comforting
