Honor is truly the perfect name for this organization. They honored my need for information at a difficult time. They honored and respected my need to evaluate my options. They honored and respected my wishes for the arrangements. They honored their word to ensure the entire process would be handled with great care and to my satisfaction. My relationship began simply with a call with David. A relaxed and informative call where he simply gave me the basic details, assured me of the process and left me knowing when the time came, he would personally oversee the details from start to finish. In a difficult time, I was overwhelmed with decisions, David and Myra simply said " We are here when or if you are ready". Complete and utter transparency on pricing and how things would unfold. I cannot express more my satisfaction with the way in which they treated our family. Their ONLINE system for paperwork and information was comforting from the moment we started the process, to the alerts of the progress. It was a simple and convenient way to handle many of the complicated details. Their team arrived at our home and respectfully expressed condolences, honored every wish of the family and handled our loved one with respect and dignity. They did this all prior to any sort of request for contract or complicated final arrangements. I was particularly pleased the transportation was a seemingly normal vehicle that didn't cause any sort of trauma for our cul-de-sac. David personally delivered the remains to our home and created a connection with our family through caring conversation. Not only did he humbly respect the entire process...he let me know that as we needed him down the road for additional decisions about the remains or really anything at all, he would be there. Even when we had a small blip on the information displayed on the death certs, he corrected that with ease and took responsibility to get the corrected information to us as quickly as possible. I highly recommend David and the team at Honor Cremations. If you are considering cremation for your loved one, I think Honor Cremations should be your one and only call.

I give Honor Cremations the highest marks for their email centered planning, their execution according to the plan. and reporting process. After the death of my wife I did not want a complicated or time consuming process to arrange for her cremation. The Honor Cremation's web site assured me that all the arrangements could be made in a hassle-free environment. As a result, and I will not hesitate to use them again if needed in the future. I used Honor Cremations' web site to make all the arrangements. They responded immediately to schedule my wife's pickup for that day. When pickup team arrived at the predicted time, the two men were dressed in black suits, and were both respectful and consoling. They wrapped her body in a suitable covering and placed her on a stretcher for the trip to Honor Cremations facility. Their website provides a number of options for both visits and the details of the cremation including choice of urn and disposition of the urn with options from home delivery to burial at sea. They sent a detailed schedule for all the steps including the completion of the legal paper work and the options for the family to visit and or participate. Their daily follow-up emails reported the completion of each step and the schedule for the remaining steps. Their clear process and the fact that almost every step is scheduled and reported when done via email makes an emotionally difficult process proceed smoothly.

I had never used a direct cremation service before, and with so many scams going on these days, I had to make sure it was legitimate. After researching and talking to different providers, I decided to go with Honor, and it proved to be the right decision. The whole process with Honor was easy, simple, and transparent. David was very supportive, respectful, and honest when explaining things to me. For instance, I wasn't aware that because my friend sustained a fall, the coroner's office had to get involved, hence the longer process. It has been a difficult time losing my friend, but Honor Cremation made the process painless. They updated me every step of the way, so I had one less thing to worry about. Even though my friend was frugal, I didn't choose the least expensive direct cremation service because, with only a $300 difference, the level of responsiveness and genuine caring attitude from Honor Cremation was far superior. Compared to funeral homes, Honor was much more personal, caring, and much less expensive. I am sure my friend would have approved given the quality of the service we received. Update*** I ended up going with Honor Cremations and the biggest reason was transparency, direct communication, and the amount of integrity/ honesty they had with the whole process. I would recommend this place to anyone who is doing a cremation service and scattering. The captain sailed us out and we all communicated perfectly. Everyone knew how to make us feel safe and welcomed. I really enjoyed the paperwork process as well as the online process. Everything is literally through a website portal and each step is updated as it happens. It made everything so simple even though I did the whole thing by myself as an only child. Give them a call and you will know immediately if this is for you or not. -the guy in the first picture is David who helped through the process and education. Honor Cremations was the best choice for our family. My Dad's wishes were to be cremated and have a burial at sea in San Diego. David and the Honor Cremations team helped our family during each step of the cremation process in a compassionate way. The communication was stellar from the beginning. They were kind as well as patient, answering all of our questions. The Honor Hub portal to communicate via chat and see each step in the process helped us stay informed all the way through receiving the urn. The urn was hand delivered by David and our family felt how much care went into providing our Dad with a peaceful transition. They also provided the permits required for the burial at sea and instructions that supported us as we began to work with the burial at sea provider. The entire experience was seamless, attentive, gracious and caring. It's never easy to say goodbye. Four months ago, I was notified that my brother unexpectedly passed away. I had no idea where to begin. To complicate things, he was in San Francisco, and I am in Michigan. He was very professional, kind and patient during this difficult time. The process went very smoothly, and my brother's ashes were delivered to me all the way across the country within 2 weeks!
