"I used to travel by train everyday up until January 2019 when I was late for train, ran down the platform and straight onto the train thinking "I'll get a ticket on the Train" but oh no, they had put up a penalty notice out of site and there was no ticket inspector on the train and the result was a fine, picture taken and treated like a criminal"

I used to travel by train everyday up until January 2019 when I was late for train, ran down the platform and straight onto the train thinking "I'll get a ticket on the Train" but oh no, they had put up a penalty notice out of site and there was no ticket inspector on the train and the result was a fine, picture taken and treated like a criminal. On a couple of journeys to and from Leeds after there was a ticket inspector but the company should be fully investigated for this hundreds of people caught out and fined. I no longer travel on the train
It's an average British railway station. There isn't too much on offer in terms of available facilities, but there are shelters on both platforms (albeit not enough of them) and a ticket office and ticket vending machines on the Leeds bound platform. There are regular services to Leeds, Harrogate and York from this station (although they're often delayed or cancelled at short notice). There are also occasional longer distance services towards London.
It’s a train station. The entire system is quite frankly awful at the minute. The HS2 anyone? Spending 6 billion on that instead of fixing current infrastructure? Sorry this has nothing to do with Horseforth specially but there really is not much to look or say about Horseforth station anyway.
the new ticket officer wouldnt know customer service or how to work effectively if the 7.53 train provided her with it full. they are the most ineffective ticket office this station has ever had. i genuinely think she hates her job and people who catch the train.
Convenient train station but expect to be cramped at rush hour. They also have a ticket inspector on the train at random and if one isn't available then expect to get a penalty/fine at Leeds with threats of CCJ's and Court Action.
Very basic train station ask for the town itself there much better places to live in Leeds it's not a bad area it's just that forse money you can live somewhere better such as Headingley always Park
great little station with trains to harrogate, york, knaresborough, leeds and london. It has a waiting room on both platforms to shelter you from the elements
a nice little station, trains every 30 mins. free toilets and occasional virgin trains
Great little station some where to sit and even a morning train to London
Basic station, virgin trains stop here very rarely and only two platforms
Not enough staff, no cover
Great place
Appalling
