Dodgiest dealership. The car I test drove was incredibly loud and rattly, I genuinely thought I was going to break down. Super slow to accelerate and sounded like it was screaming at me. It became very obvious very quickly they're not putting any work into fixing these cars, buying them cheap because they've got major issues and just switching off all the warning lights and hoping you hand over the money before it breaks down. I took my mum to have a look at the car we'd seen online (listed 6 grand more when we got there), and when I pointed the place out she said oh no... she'd been to test drive something a few years back when she was looking and had the exact same experience. On top of that, they attempted to value my car at 1500, by looking at it and turning it on. Put on the most dramatic show of trying to make out that it's not worth anything/ that it has issues (again, just by looking at it... and having had a major service 2 weeks ago) and were not expecting me to let them know I've done my fair share of research and know what market value it has. Even suggested that not having FLOOR MATS lessened the value! Seems as though they haven't heard of a vacuum. They're pretty hopeful that prospective customers are oblivious. Stay far away from any of their cars. You'd be better off getting yourself a nice bike and an opal card.

Great company I recently bought a 2013 Nissan Ute from this dealer sight unseen. I live in Melbourne and saw the Ute advertised for a very keen price so I did not muck around and got in touch quickly. Val was excellent and gave me good information over the phone and was straight up about the vehicle. I paid a deposit and came to Sydney a few days later and drove the Ute home. While I thought the vehicle and service were very, very good, I wanted to wait until I had the Ute checked out mechanically before I wrote a review. I was happy with Hot Spot Motors but you just never know. Having now passed a Vic roadworthy test with not a single failed item, I can confidently say that I would not hesitate to deal with Val and Hot Spot Autos again, and trust them to deal with me honestly. Would recommend.

This was the best experience I had buying a car! Fred was very nice to deal with - was very informative, patient, not pushy at all and gave us a lot of peace of mind. This is my first time buying a car in Australia, so I wasn’t aware of a lot of the process. However, Fred and Omar talked us through the process, had answered for all our questions, and are very nice. I had visited another car dealership where I left feeling very overwhelmed, they were very pushy in me purchasing a car that was way out of my budget. If possible they would give them ZERO stars. It looks like, from reading the reviews, you can get lucky and buy a decent vehicle from these guys. (if these reviews can be trusted of course everyone can write them..) Unfortunately that was not the case for me. I bought a van from them around a year ago and I've had so many issues with it it's unreal. The roadworthy they issued was poorely completed, the car was not roadworthy. Now that I want to renew my roadworthy i realise they lied big time. I now need to repair so many issues that where wrong with the van from when i purchased it.It has cost me so much money. Please do not trust these guys at all they.

sell lemons, nothing but issues from day one. That many issues that once I got it back from their selected mechanic I sent it to mine to do a full check over etc, His response hiw did this pass a blue slip, front tyres are illegal nit suitable for a light truck and worn below legal limit, oil leaks, rear different damaged and then list kept going

Purchased my first non private used car here a few months ago. Had a few issues with the car when my local mechanic checked it over (which in hindsight I should have done before purchase) which the guys here had fixed no questions asked. The people I dealt with have been friendly and helpful from start to finish. I would use them again.

Zero professionalism. Dealer had agreed on a trade in price and then change the price when new car was being collected. This is despite the dealer having inspected the trade in car 2 days prior. Trade in car was in the same condition as when dealer had inspected it.
