Ik ben gegaan om mijn haar donkerbruin te verven, vervolgens loop ik de salon uit met intense zwart haar. Iedereen geeft aan dat het inderdaad zwart is, enkel gaf niet toe dat het zwart is. Nu heb ik intense zwart haar en weet ik niet wat ik moet doen om het uit mijn haar te krijgen. Aangezien ik niet kan reageren op de reactie van de eigenaar doe ik het via deze weg. Ik heb niet aangeven dat mijn haar in het verleden oplichtte. Ik gaf aan dat ik in het verleden blond was en recentelijk een donkere spoeling heb gedaan. Aangezien het een spoeling is, is het normaal dat het oplicht. Vandaar dat ik bruin wilde. Ook heb ik telefonisch aangezien dat ik geloof dat het donkerbruine verf is, maar het op mijn haar zwart heeft gepakt. Er is daarom niet goed gekeken naar mijn haar conditie om te kijken hoe de verf zal pakken. Hoe dan ook wilde de kapper niet toegeven dat ondanks de donkerbruine verf, het bij mij zwart werd. Verder is hij zeer respectloos geweest tegenover mensen en mijn voorgaande kapper die allemaal hebben aangegeven dat mijn haar inderdaad zwart is. Wael reageerde met ‘mensen weten het niet ik ben kapper’ en met ‘je kapper is dom hij weet het niet’. Als kapper vind ik dit een zeer kinderachtige en respectloze reactie. Verder heb ik in een tweede telefoon gesprek gevraagd wat voor soort verf er is gebruikt, permanent of semi permanent. Hierop reageerde hij met ‘wat bedoel je’ een goeie kapper zou het wel moeten weten. Wael reageerde heel vaag en zei uiteindelijk semi. Dit klopt echter niet. Voor semi permanente haar kleur is er geen developer nodig en is het verf wat je een paar wasbeurten uit wast. Hij heeft met eigen worden gezegd dat hij developer heeft gebruikt, dat word enkel bij permanente haarkleuring gebruikt. Maar hij wist niet wat hij heeft gebruikt. Tot heden is mijn haar ook niet opgelicht. Als het semi was, dan had ik nu licht bruin haar.

Looked at the rating of both Google and Treatwell and decided that this can’t go wrong. The moment I arrived to my appointment, they were finishing up with a customer. I get it, so I’ll wait. 15 min after, I am placed at the chair to discuss my wishes - perfect, ready, let’s go. No, wait, there is another customer whose hair is ready to be washed. So here I am sitting and waiting again. Total waiting time from the moment I arrived - 1 hour. I politely with slight annoyance indicate that I really would love to start because dying my hair will take time. The moment we are about to start, I am being told that “good that you pre-paid, but it’s going to cost extra”. First time I hear this so I am trying to figure out why. “It was indicated in the app”. I am going into the app, to show that other than the name of the procedure and the price there is nothing in there that says that I have to pay extra. Response of personeel: “It’s on our website”. Yes, but I booked via the app not website?? The next I hear that “I am alone today, so I have to take care of customers who had it booked today”. All right, but why is that my problem and why do you tell me that now? If you would manage my expectations upfront - I wouldn’t be disappointed, but I feel that my time was disrespected on top of it I had to be charged extra. This salon might be great at getting hair done(haven’t done it, so I am not rating that part) but my experience was devastating.

I just visited House of Lush for a haircut and had a great experience! This new salon was recommended to me by my sister. My stylist Wael was fantastic - he listened to what I wanted and gave me a cut that I love. The scalp massage by his assistant was super relaxing. The salon itself is beautiful - it’s clean, modern, and has a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I appreciated that they offered me coffee while I waited for my appointment. The owner told me about the laser and other services they will offer soon. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great haircut and soon for other beauty services. I will definitely be back. I live in Amsterdam, but it’s well worth the trip.

Mael knows his craft, that's for sure. Attention the detail and thoroughness was great - though communication wise I would have like a bit more interaction, as the assistant started to curl my hair without consulting me. I didn't ask for styling/curls, so I was confused but thought maybe it's part of a technique so let it be, until she started curling my bangs and I figured I should let me know I like my hair more casual/straight. My da lt for not saying anything! Really think they just wanted to give me the best possible service - I just prefer my hair straight. Pleasant experience, nice music, clean salon - would recommend!

I took my wife to the new hair salon house of lush in the charming Wittevrouwenstraat in Utrecht and we were both delighted with the experience. The staff was friendly and professional, the salon was clean and stylish, and the atmosphere was relaxing. My wife got a great haircut that suited her perfectly and she was very happy with the result. While I waited for her, I enjoyed a glass of champagne that was offered to me by the salon. It was a nice touch that made me feel pampered and appreciated. I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a quality service and a pleasant time. House of lush is the place to go!

Aanvankelijk was ik niet tevreden en had ik een negatieve recensie geplaatst. Ik was niet zo tevreden over de kapster die mij had geknipt. De ervaring wad niet ontspannen, mijn haar was raar gestyled en leek wel ontploft. Tot overmaat van ramp was m'n haar ook nog behoorlijk scheef geknipt. Gelukkig heeft de eigenaar van de salon dit letterlijk en figuurlijk recht gezet! Hij nam echt de tijd om van mijn haar weer een kapsel te maken. En mijn haar valt weer mooi. Vanwege deze geweldige service recovery heb ik m'n recensie en de sterren aangepast!

I would definitely recommend House of Lush because I don't think I'll go to another hairdresser ever again. My last hairdresser really messed up the color of my hair, resulting in different shades making it look horrible. Wael has a great eye and has fixed my hair color in one go. He knows exactly what he's doing, takes his time and gives great advice. I ended up adding the botox/plasma treatment to my appointment and it made my frizzy, brittle hair incredibly shiny and soft.

Wael is fan-tas-tisch, super super super goed geknipt & geföhned (mind you: ik heb géén idee welk kapsel leuk staat, wat staat bij mijn gezicht etc.) maar Wael heeft werkelijk waar TOP resultaat geleverd. Ben echt verliefd op mijn nieuwe kapsel! Ik draag normaliter extensions maar door zijn professionaliteit, oog voor detail & gouden handen ben ik nog nooit zó tevreden geweest met mijn eigen haar. Dankjewel team House of Lush, ik ga nergens anders meer heen.

Hele vervelende ervaring gehad, ik had om 10.00 (openingstijd) een afspraak met Wael. Vervolgens heb ik tot 10.35 moeten wachten voordat de dame Wael ging bellen. Toen kwam hij heel rustig met zijn hond aanwandelen en zei hij 'ga maar zitten'. Ik vind het heel bijzonder dat ze zo met klanten omgaan. Ik kwam eigelijk voor een ander behandeling maar na een gesprekje werd het keratine behandeling. Goed advies want mijn haar glimt weer. Heb je kort haar dan is (ook) kerantine behandeling bij House of Lush een aanrader. Ik kreeg gelijk goede haar producten mee naar huis. Ik kom over twee weken weer terug om te kleuren. Enne de liefste medewerker is het hondjezij verwelkomt je met haar schattige ogen.

I visited House of Lush in August 2023 and had the best experience. I have curly hair and have often been let down by hairdressers claiming to know how to work with such hair but who actually do not know how to cut/style curly hair. This was not my experience with House of Lush! I was in capable hands from start to finish and left looking great! Thank you!!

Yesterday I booked a last minute appointment at House of Lush after my mum commented my hair had got too long! I was very well looked after and my hair looks and feels fabulous. Wael wist met vijf minuten precies welk kapsel past bij mijn wensen, persoonlijkheid (ik ben niet zo van gedoe met stylen ed), mijn gezicht én mijn haartype en knipte een coupe die me prachtig staat, natuurlijk in model valt en geen werk vraagt. Ook van anderen veel complimenten. Zo blij! Ik kom zeker terug!

Amazing experience! Wael is great professional in his area of work and he managed something that many other hairstylists in the Netherlands said they cannot do it - changing my hair colour from dark brown to platinum blonde. He is very dedicated to every customer individually, honest, transparent!

After one night, the colour totally gone. The boss/hairdresser changes what he said all the time. Long unclean Nails aren't professional for scalps. Time can be wasted, if standards with time are precious for you. Waiting can be exhaustedly long. I can't be pleasant by flattery or drinks.
