Date: 11/01/2016 at 3:44PM Cashier: e135399 It was my first time here. I hardly pay for the ticket. Not sure what to do. Everyone was nice and helpful when I first enter the door. One of the men told to get in line wait for the number to call out than I walk to that number. Then four second later there were two number called out fourteen and eighteen. I choosed the window fourteen. When I showed up at the window I said hi!, how are you today to the African American lady with a smile. She replied back to me how can I help you with a serious impression on her face also in her voice. I smile back at her and replied to her I would like to pay for my ticket. She said ok, you know what kind of ticket you have? With a serious face and not happy at all. I smile and said yes I do. She said ok do you have your ticket with you or id? I replied to her I did not know that I need to bring my iD or my ticket with me. She get more serious with me on her voice and her face impressions which make me uncomfortable. I keep smile and drink it all up. She said than how do you normally pay for your ticket or how you going to pay for your ticket? I told her I don't know it my first time here I am not sure what I need to bring or how it work. May you please help me? <----- She did not let me finish my sentence or what I about to said. To me that straight up rude! She said what are you holding in your hand is that your ticket? First her question was not clear. I was holding two cards in my hand one was my insurance and the one card was my warrant notice. I replied this is my insurance card and a warrant notices. Once again she cut my sentences off did not let me finished. She said I am asking is that the ticket you paying for? I replied back to her I don't have my ticket with me. She then frustrated with me and mad with me in her tone as well with her voices. It is not easy in the ear. I than replied back to her I have my insurance and my warrant notices. Do you need my insurance? She said no. You are not listen to me. Is that the ticket you are paying for today? I replied back to her yes. She said hand me that card. I asked her which card do you want me to give you? She said are you going to pay for your ticket? I said yes. Than give the the card! I give her my warrant card. She said omg! chezzz! and smile. I said to her it my first time here and I don't know what I need to bring or provide it to you. Sorry if I give you a hard time. She replied to me how can you pay? You pay check or credit card you must have your id. I replied back I pay cash. She said ok, do you have 200 dollards in cash with you? I said yes and give it to her. She said ok here your copy. I said thank to her and have a great day. The beginning till the end her face was serious and not happy. She was being rude and unacceptable attitude specially when she smiling when I'm struggle not knowing what to do or what information I need to provide for her. She not helpful, not kind, and not professional in a court department. I have lots of patient for her but that does not mean she can walk more and more in her attitude. I am not mad or upset. I feel insulted by her. I want to share this experience of mine and hopefully the customers service or care more sincere when helping the other people not insult them. Best regards, Sonniphia Li
My advice is that if you are wanting a true hearing and a chance to argue and dismiss or reduce your parking citation, to not opt for the online “hearing”. It is not a hearing. It is a seeing, at most. Your testimony will have to be whittled down to 1000 characters (which is not much to fully explain a circumstance), and you will almost certainly get an automated denial. It is advertised as a way to be pre-emptive and convenient, but mostly it is convenient for the parking department and makes it easier for them to skip over human interaction to more easily protect citations. After receiving a denial for dismissal, I rode my bicycle down to the municipal court down a dangerous and dirty pedestrian sidewalk on Houston street full of trash and urine to get a real hearing, but was denied because my online submission prevented an opportunity for a real, in person hearing. While in line, I witnessed the hearing officer give citation dismissals or reductions to virtually everyone who showed up in person, including a family with a citation so outdated, that it was past the date allowed for a hearing. Without even giving testimony, that family’s citation was cut exponentially and their child was given candy. I was happy for them, but it is unclear how they pick and choose who gets a break and who doesn’t. There is definitely some profiling and favoritism at play here at this courthouse. This was my first parking violation in Houston. It was a true mistake on my part. I do feel that I deserved a warning or reduced citation and I do not feel that I truly got a chance to be heard. I was told by the officer on duty that if I appeal, it just means that I will pay more. $70 is a very steep fine for a first time parking citation, and the hearing process doesn’t reward those who are proactive, especially for online “hearings”. Please put the money from my citation towards cleaning up the pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure leading to the courthouse. The safer and more accessible it is to use car-free options, the less we can fall victim to parking entrapment. I will say that there were a few genuinely friendly staff members at the information desk and at the security entrance. The other officers can learn some courtesy from them.
This was my first time ever being in court for anything let alone being pulled over and given a hefty ticket in the state of Texas. After my first appearance they scheduled a date for me to have to come back. The judge for that appearance was very kind and helpful so was all the other staff. The second time I had to come the judge Elaine Jefferson was incredibly rude to me as well as seemed annoyed when I asked questions as if it was the most inconvenient thing for her. I had brought my husband with me to help me understand some terminology I was not familiar with and I have bad anxiety. I tried explaining that to her and she didn't even let me finish before rudely asking if he was lawyer. Obviously he was not. She talked down to me as if I were a child. I literally felt like I was teenager getting a lecture from someone. My husband and I have a joint bank account. Every decision we make about money (especially $100+) we make together. She rolled her eyes at me and stated that "there is no we in this situation, this is you violation. Stop saying we." Like really? My wording towards my own violation disturbs you that bad? My violations were speeding, following a vehicle too close (dismissed), and not using my turn signal to switch lanes (dismissed). They wouldn't even let me fight the speeding one unless I wanted to come back a third time and fight all three. Theis judge acted as if she was doing me the biggest favor ever. You aren't giving me a kidney. After that I watched the next person go up and that person was the same race as the judge. She was sweeet as pie to them. That person also had similar violations that I did. This justice system is very screwed up and anyway they can get money out of you, they will. All other staff that day, was very kind. I hope I don't ever have to go back there but if I do I hope I never have to have her as a judge again.
We went to this court today, it's been years! The security checkpoint was smooth, the officers and others working at the ENTRANCE were respectful and nice. However, I was left a bit confused and saddened once we made it to court ONE at 8:00 am today June 5th. I didn't cross words with the judge or any officer as I was only accompanying someone. I only observed various acts of DISRESPECTFULNESS by an officer present and heard from others present in the court room about how rude and disrespectful the judge was with almost everyone. The officer was EXTREMELY impolite to many going in and out, mainly to an older lady, yelling, confrontational, and just angry. There is a way to speak to a human being, but not the way he was speaking/yelling at her. The lady got very nervous to the point that she was shacking and later explained to me that she had never been to a court before and didn't know the rules, she was also sent to TWO different court rooms by mistake until they finally told her to go to court one. I believe it is ESSENTIAL for the people working there to treat others as human beings WITH RESPECT. I don't see ANY reason why they treat EVERYONE very RUDE. They need training or something because if I were the one being treated like that for NOTHING I would be taking them to court!!
Be prepared to be treated the most rudely in your life when you come here. You might luck out and actually be treated kindly and professionally, but my experience here has been bad both times I've been here. The clerks, guards, and even the judges just leaves me shaking my head that such people are allowed to work here or anywhere in government. I mentioned I was here 2 times and they were separated by almost 9 years; it is obvious to me the rudeness and disrespect is institutionalized because it is as bad as I remembered all those years ago. I believe they are this way because they know they won't lose their jobs or suffer any consequence for such behaviors - this is the City of Houston after all, and if you are not white and rich, then the assumption is you must be guilty. If you are going to fight a ticket you received or even have just questions, you better seriously consider talking to a lawyer because the system is against you and you will be treated as guilty until proven innocent. No matter how right/innocent you believe yourself to be, they don't care and you MUST understand this.
I have no idea which court/judge to belittle so I’m going to post this at all the Houston area courthouses. Alonniea Fantasia Ford was a fast foot employee at the Jack-in-the-Box near Bush Continental Airport who shot two bullets at a family of 4 after they complained about NOT GETTING FRIES IN THEIR ORDER. This woman is a complete and total psychopath and belongs behind bars or in a mental facility for the rest of her life. The Judge presiding over this case dropped her charge from felony assault to MISDEMEANOR deadly conduct. A MISDEMEANOR for shooting a gun at a car with a man, his pregnant wife, and 6-year-old daughter because they rudely asked for their order to be corrected. This woman is as unhinged as a human being can be. She brought a gun to Jack-in-the-Box and shot at customers. This is attempted murder, and the judge gave her a MISDEMEANOR. That is laughable and a slap in the face of justice. Absolutely pathetic and disgusting behavior by not only that psychopath, Alonneia Fantasia Ford, but by that whole legal system. Shame on all of you.
Went to court to be a witness in a car accident. I ended up late to court because of a security guard. I had my baby asleep in his stroller so I went in the back of the court house to get up the ramp because in the front there was only steep stairs. I get there and the woman tells me it’s for handicapped people and employees only and that I gotta go in the front. And I’m like “how am I gonna take the stroller up the stairs with my child asleep in it? I can’t carry it” and she tells me to figure it out that I can’t go in through there. So I go to the front and wait at the bottom of the stairs and ask some policemen if they can help me carry the stroller up the stairs because the woman wouldn’t let me in. After court they personally took me to get out through the ramp in the back of the courthouse where she was at. I’m so thankful for those men and am disgusted with the mentality of that woman. My son could’ve been injured with me attempting to get up the stairs with him in the stroller!
I had a parking ticket that I had forgotten about. The fines reached up to 300$. I went to court to talk to the judge. She listened to my issue making a simple mistake of parking next to a fire hydrant. I was clearly in the wrong. She was very professional and thought of me as a human being. She dropped my fine to 20$. Who does that? Judges who are kind, sympathetic, and caring. I wish all judges were like this. She made my day. Literally judges have hard jobs, but for her to make a decision like that was courteous and 100% professional. Also as I was leaving she was actually getting off at the same time and she waved at me to go first to back out my car. Not only is she professional at her job she is also respectful and courteous outside of it too. I wish the best for anyone working at this court, and I hope they succeed in life. These are the people who will make this country better. These people are the future of the United States. God bless you.
I called to get some info for my brother and the woman that answered made me aware he needed to call. I explained I didn’t want his personal info but wanted only to understand the process to get the information. I’ve never had to take care of these kind of issues, like warrants etc, so I wanted to understand the process for him because he is not doing well, and I wanted an idea on how to help him take care of his issues. Anyways, this lady on the phone was very impatient, rushed me...I asked if she would please be patient with my questions, she would speak back confrontational to me and continue repeating herself, “tell your brother to call” It was like she didn’t want to hear anything I had to say. I hope when I call back that I do not get her on the phone. Is there customer service when it comes to city offices or is that for service businesses only...wish people in general were more kind. I didn’t get her name but it was 4:00pm June 25th
I want to thank Court Admin Ms. Laura M. Garza, she was so helpful, when I was there today. She offered assistance and knew exactly how to help me before I even asked. When I realized I had made a mistake and was at the wrong location, not only did she offer to look up the correct information for my appointment but she gave me her card to prove that I was there on time. She also gave me the contact number to the correct location so I could call and reschedule. She truly went above and beyond and I just hope that everyone in these courts follow her example. This is how Public Service is done, thank you so much. I was pleasantly surprised when the representative who answered at the correct location was also very kind and patient with me and provided me with a rescheduling time. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name, but she was exceptionally kind and also quick to assist me. Thank you so much.
Horrible people, horrible service, avoid at all costs if possible. This is the only place I know of that is still enforcing "strict" COVID protocols in SEPTEMBER OF 2022. You are not allowed to enter the building without a mask, no matter your vaccination status, and they will not provide you a mask, despite the fact that the pandemic is essentially over and I do not know a single person who still wears a mask, let alone carries one around at this point. They would not even let you remove your mask during a civil marriage ceremony for pictures or being able to look into your partners face during the vows because of "COVID". The security at the front door is rude and on some sort of power trip, requiring stricter security searches than when I went to see a sitting President speak. Horrible people, horrible service, avoid at all costs if possible.
There are some employees that work there in the Municipal Court office on the 2nd floor that are just plain rude and mean! Two lady's in particular. No compassion for disabled people whatsoever! I just about passed out in that hallway because it was to much for them to assist me. I didn't ask for nothing major. It was a totally minor request. I was in total visible distress and they just walked away without a care in the world. Finally there were 3 other workers that went out of their way to help my daughter with me. I am very appreciative to them. Unfortunately I didn't get all their names except for one. His name was officer Dodson. I just feel that situations like this shouldn't have happened or happen ever again... People need to realize that their actions can cause harm to others!
I had a ticket from 2015 I neglected to pay and a failure to appear warrant. One for $330 and the other for $300. I went in to make a payment arrangement for the total cost to get my license reinstated. The clerk mistakenly only checked me in for the speeding ticket and not the failure to appear; the judge bumped it down to $230 and gave me a reasonable arrangement date. I was so happy that $400 was taken off I told the clerk I wanted to pay off the $230 today. After paying, she realized the mistake and sent me back to the judge to make an arrangement for the warrant. I was a little bummed because I already paid and had to make the arrangement again. Well, to my excitement, Judge Most (kind) dismisses all further cases and I’m now reinstated!
I have been paying my tickets off coming in every month getting an extension and paying them down, I just want to say I’m a hardworking citizen who made a couple bad decisions when I was younger as far as traffic tickets.I never had any points on my license. License has never been suspended just was young and not making the right decisions. When I come every month I usually get a really nice judge very respectful. Today the judge I got was a woman and I mean she was so rude just really acted like she hates her job. You greet her she don’t say anything you say have a nice night she’s just looking in her phone completely ignoring you. It’s not hard to show people respect. Just know karma does come back around but god bless
If I could give this place zero stars I would. I'm writing this review, in part, for many citizens who Have been dealt unjust hands by the judges that be in Houston. In particular judge Christopher Gore. I was in the court waiting to be the next to talk with this judge. As I waited civilian after civilian where talked to like they were lesser than, and belittled. As hand after hand of unjust, rushed, judgements where passed on by this judge my time had finally arrived, and predictably I was dealt the same unjust hand. As citizens we are supposed to feel a sense of security in our cities and in our courts, but I feel no less than afraid at the endless unjust hands I could be dealt any given day.
This place is out of their damn minds! Giving people tickets for back in parking. You need to do some research on the amount of kids that are killed each year due to parents/people not backing into parking spots, or how about the number of incidents in (you'll never guess) PARKING LOTS where people get injured due to not back in parking, don't worry ill give you one more. How about the Oil and Gas industry you know the main source of our economy here the one major thing that runs Houston!?!?!? Why do you think almost all of them have back in parking polices/rules??? Can you guess Houston Municipal Courts BECAUSE IT IS HANDS DOWN THE SAFEST WAY TO PARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The most disrespectful security guards watching this place they have so many signs all over the building saying we don't discriminate I believe that's a load of bull. I was treated with such fear by these security people. I was lost going to court. Never been there before looked like a beautiful wonderful building i wanted to look around and I got treated with sir come here how dare u look around the building where are u going I said sir I was trying to figure out how i leave the way I came in??. He said right there choose a door left or right and get out Never have I ever treated someone with such disrespect why did I deserve that what did I do so wrong to the security officers there?
The guard at the front and the staff in suite 214 were the most helpful. They deserve 5 stars. HOWEVER, the overweight elderly red-haired lady in Court 7 (jury duty) was rude and miserable. She should retire if she hates her job so much. Some of us were there happy and willing, but your toxic bitterness ruined the experience. Also, to the "geniuses" who drafted the jury duty notice: a one-inch note on the corner of a paper is so inconspicuous that anyone can miss it. Make it more obvious so people know to leave it on their dashboards. ♀️ It is NOT pleasant to walk a quarter of a mile back under Houston heat just to put that tiny piece of paper on the dashboard.
Judge Christopher T Gore is the worst guy ever. I can't believe they have him presiding over anything. This man forced me to plead guilty and basically told me if I keep my plea of not guilty I would have to bond out of jail. It's the Christmas holidays and this man was so rude and evil he didn't let me get a payment arrangement on a fine from ten years ago. Just wanna know how is that justice making or forcing an individual to plead guilty I really didn't understand what was going on and trying to ask him questions to get clarification. I kept asking him about the fine. To me this judge is very unethical and don't deserve to be anything more than a stay home dad.
Always been a trash court house the lady at the info center and the front door security guards and the clerks rude as hell. This place has been this way since I was a kid they have the easiest job in the world and tax dollars pays them all. They get great benefits for just sitting down all day. Don’t see why they are so upset and obnoxious about helping someone out at least let people finish speaking and stop trying to interrupt them while they are explaining something to you. City of Houston get it together. Plus this place still smells like mold and depression. Paint the walls get new floors or something!
I came to contest a parking ticket and I'll warn you now, if you are faced with having to see Dennis Alenik be prepared to deal with an arrogant old man that will try to impose his position of power. I respectfully told him I didnt like the attitude and tone he was using with me and he tried to raise my fees before I got up and walked away with paperwork that was already printed. Even worse, the only way to appeal this bs is by paying more money to see someone. The injustice is real here. I'll be back next week to see what kind of disciplinary actions are being taken, probably none but we'll see.
I remember my husband went to court for some tickets, since he didn't know much he signed papers and took his turn so he asked the clerked is that everything he needed to do and go home, she said yes, turns out he wasn't finish with all the signatures and called him back to the court but unfortunately it was too late so he had a warrant and to reschedule the court date and that the judge would understand the slip up. That's wasn't the end the next day I got pulled over and my husband was asked for his I'd and saw the warrant so he was taken to jail, the officers didn't want to hear his story.
I got a ticket for failure to come to a stop at a stop sign. Ugh! However, the folks at Municipal Court did an outstanding job of helping me understand my options. I sent an email request for delayed disposition and heard back within hours that my request had been granted. I worked in State and County government for almost 30 years. I was impressed with the speed of their response and the clarity and courtesy of the HPD officer, 311 operators and the court personnel. They made an otherwise unpleasant experience much better than I expected. Thanks for providing such good service.
I was very fortunate to come across Attorney Nicole. With her grace and 15+ years of wisdom, she explained the situation with my client’s case and taught me a lot myself. Nicole was willing to work with me on the matter and we came to a mutual resolve that left my client proud. Nicole even took the time to actually walk me around to whoever I would need to speak with so that my client’s situation was completed to end. Thank you, Nicole; It’s attorneys and people like you that make Houston a better place. P.S. She has style i.e., nice shoes.
It was my first time coming to this court. I was so afraid because i felt that i was going to pay alot because of the ticket i got. I arrive to court #1.. 20 min before 1:00 Pm Judge came back almost at 1 and took me immediately... i was suppose to come in at 7 but i came in earlier ... She assisted me professionally and absolutely understood the situation i ended up paying only $10. I was so grateful ! Mrs. Leigh Saint-Germain was comprehensive of the situation. I am absolutly grateful with her .
Customer service is beyond poor. We are not all criminals and no matter what the case may be treat people with respect. Especially the information booth employee, No smile, and speaks very low so it's hard to hear her, just has no manners or social skills. Gave me poor directions and another staff directed me to elevators closer to her once there she gave me a complete attitude about being at those elevators. Customer service is very important. Treat others like you would like to get treated.
Whoever is running this court house is not doing a good job. Most of the staff was rude and inefficient. Security guard was to lazy to verbalized any instruction he would just made a hand gesture for me to move as if i was cattle. How long are we going to put up with this kind of behavior from OUR PUBLIC EMPLOYEES or public officials? If ANY public employees from management level all the way down can't deal with the public maybe they need to get a new job! I agree we need a better.
You either get really kind employees or super rude ones who can choke on a boot for all I care. There is no reason for you to have an attitude with people just trying to solve a problem, especially when they are being nothing but polite. Security is always kind but the court clerks (particularly court 2) just rude for no reason. Also, there needs to be more effort p into explaining options. The communication skills of certain judges is lacking tremendously.
Mrs. Lee at the Passport Acceptance location was awesome. She was patient and informative. She even let us leave to get my daughter's passport photo retaken as the original one would not be accepted. They were very kind to everyone coming in worried about their passport applications. I also have to mention Rashelle as she was the person I was connected to to ask about appointments. This is the place to go for passports.
Jury Duty is the greatest! If you're over the age of 18 and not in school, then I highly recommend it. Get to know your fellow Houstonians! If you needed a break in life well you're in luck! Jury Duty allows you to catch your breath while performing your civic duty. Highly recommend walking over to Stanton's for a burger. Stretch your legs for a bit, before getting ready to be part of a Jury. Have fun!
Called for information on my traffic ticket, receptionist was extremely rude and condescending. I was given FALSE information about my court date and time. I was also given misleading information, that had I not already known the correct answer, could have been a VERY costly mistake. have had my court reassigned WITHOUT notifying me SEVERAL times. This place is a joke.
Judge Garza was awesome as well as the staff that was present for my hearing as well. I had court for a speeding ticket after failing to send in defensive driving certificate on time. 2020 was a hard year for all of us and he was very kind and understanding. He gave kindness and accepted my defensive driving anyways. Over all a good experience. It makes a difference!
I was here to serve jury duty. Nice facility at the waiting room. Too bad there isn't many restaurants at walking distance. I was glad we were allowed to use next door police station's cafeteria. I could use the microwave to heat up my lunch. Finally, you can make marriage arrangement request online. Just $100 to get married. They welcome same-sex couples, too.
The 3 others cars traveling faster didn't get pulled. I did. Very slow workers. Workers don't seem helpful and the wait was too long. I would recommend other courts over this one. I can't give it less than one star so I'll give it a one. Ambient at check in was nice and metal detectors seemed to work as I had to remove my Keys. Restroom was OK.
I went there today to dismiss my traffic ticket. I was expecting it to be very busy but surprisingly it was not busy at all. There was no waiting time for me. The senior lady who served me is one of the nicest persons I have ever met. She is very friendly and amazing in her service. It was a great experience overall! Thank you! …
It is great. The advances in automation make it so much more user friendly. The decor in the courtrooms are long comfortable wooden benches and the walls are a faux oak panel that reminds you of sitting in the woods on a cool Spring day.I sometimes break minor laws in the front of the police for the privilege of getting to go there.
I don’t know who answers the phones at this court, but they all need to be retrained and given information to actually help out people when they call. They never answered emails either so don’t even bother. Making it nearly impossible to dismiss a ticket with out going to the court in person which is not feasible for everyone.
I served on jury duty last Friday and finally got picked. It was a long day but everything went along as planned. Then later I called to get a copy of my jury summons for work. Everybody was extremely helpful. There was no long wait time and everybody was happy to help. A miss L Garzy was extremely helpful.
Overall experience has been good here all 6 times there’s good and bad judges but I feel like there’s more good ones !!!! also they need fire this man named Bob a public defendant who asked what race was my judge because of my speeding ticket was dismissed! Get him out of there. Oh and she was WHITE!
Made come back to my vehicle on a rainy day bc I didn’t have a mask on and when I ask them since they are public figure ( why they don’t provide the masks ) they’re respond was ( STEP outside Sir STEP outside ) what kinda service is that? If I came to help my father since he doesn’t speak English.
I got robbed at this place 1400 LUBBOCK SUCKS Shady A**holes put a boot on my car even duh i park in a legal spot but they want me to pay $400 and police don't help you they say private property please put a large size telling people where to park anybody coming is already tense scared worried .
Parked on side street and walked so didn't need to mess with coupons. They're about as efficient as any bureaucracy can be and staff were all quite kind. No tp is women's restroom, vending machine ate money and there were no coffee cups. Except for eating my $, all were fixed a few hours later.
New here in Texas and I just can tell the people that work here don’t care, I’m studying criminal justice and about to start a internship and I told them that and because of this ticket it might hold me back to get an internship and they just didn’t care. No wonder Texas has the worst system.
My husband and I were married at this courthouse on a Saturday. We were both pleasantly surprised at how friendly and welcoming everyone we encountered was through the whole process. Everything was organized and efficient. Think that was the best courthouse wedding experience possible!
How stupid is it that if you get subpoenaed to court, like me, and it's your first time ever going to court, you don't find out until you get to the doors of the court that you are required to wear long pants to approach the judge. Then the guards make you feel stupid for not knowing.
My first time going to court for a no DL ticket and Judge Gibson was very kind and helpful, so was the other staff who all kindly helped me with any questions I have. Also the security guard rocks for telling me who I should talk to and giving me directions around the court.
I spoke to three different people today about a ticket that I never should’ve received in Houston. I will take care of it. However, I thought everybody in Texas was nice, all three of these people I spoke to win Houston or some of the rudest people I’ve ever spoken to.
JUDGE HARTLE, spoke uncleanly, looked mean, and acted angry. It was the end of the day, and maybe she was tired. I wouldn't write this, but JUDGE HARTLE was very mean to me when she asked me if I could be impartial. To me, she seemed very rude, and not intelligent.
The court/facility is a nice place. But some of the staffs are horrible. They said that the working hour are from 8am to 5pm; however, when I arrived during lunchtime (around 1pm), none of the staffs were there. We waited for almost 40 mins till one showed up.
Money hungry people had to pay $163 for an expired registration and I fixed the problem when she asked me did I fix it. Then talking about she can’t dismiss because it’s 2 years old. They help who they want to help Judge Edwards bias to me and rude
Had a great experience with the harris county court house. Everything went smoothly and efficiently. No long waiting lines. I was in and out in 15 minutes. The judge worked with me on my ticket and everyone seemed to be in a mostly positive mood.
Lubbock Passport Office is 1 of the absolute Best and/or the Only BEST in Houston, the Staff has been Professional & Timely throughout the pandemic, I’ve had several family & friends go to Lubbock location, I would give 100 Stars if possible
Instead of dismissing . They keep making me come back for rescheduling every court date I have to reschedule because they keep blaming coronavirus . They make you waist 5$ just for parking and time from my job just to reschedule everytime .
Got married here today. The judge was wonderful and made the experience memorable. The woman at the counter was kind and helpful. But the security guard at the front was unnecessarily rude. I’m not sure if he was having a rough morning or
From what I read on the newspapers, people here are biased against black people and they depend on funding brought in by traffic citations. Also bond is designed to help the rich and screw over the poor. Terrible system in place.
I hate the fact that they make people take off slippers nike sandals flip flops etc. It's like walking barefoot in a public locker room. My feet are itching in the center from doing this. It's disgusting and I wish I could sue.
If you ever got pulled over and asked to appear before court, this is the place you will end up most likely in houston. Good luck. And drive safe. Please don't scrutinize me for sharing a review about a government building.
On a Friday before a long weekend., and everyone was helpful plentiful metered parking COVID protocols in.place. I transacted my business had a bottle of water in the vending area and was on my way. Pleasantly surprised.
I don't know how the hell anyone can give this place 5 stars. The parking lot officer is very rude the employees inside are very rude and obnoxious they are so slow it's ridiculous I hate the city of Houston
The parking lot right across the street from this courthouse is very convenient. The bailiff in court 3 is rude and seems to hate her job. The clerk sitting right next to the judge is very rude as well.
They are all about the money judges and district attorneys and bail bonds, if you have the money they will let you off easy, if you don't have the money they just put you in jail. They are all corrupt.
This is literally a garbage court. The staff there likes to always have the upper hand in everything they think everything is a competition + there are uncivilized staff and employees over there
Some of the worst elitist judges enforcing harsh remedies influenced, implemented, and/or perhaps coerced by corporate policies and corruption abound in this building. Avoid it at all costs.
RUDE AND NOT WANTING TO HELP PEOPLE. Went in for a passport for my son the person that was there was very rude and was not trying to help at all. I will never go back to that location.
If y’all aren’t going to be open the business hours that you stated. Then y’all need to update yalls hours. So, that people don’t waste their time driving to y’all for nothing.
funny how all the minorities were getting there tickets dismissed in court 2 by a latina judge but all the white middle class folks were not.racist and rude as hell
I just came with my mom to the adjudication office to contest a ticket, everyone was very polite and the judge so understanding, we are really grateful, blessings.
Everyone is very nice professional I've been here many times for minor violations speeding, inspection, proof of insurance. Very nice annex judge every time I go
I had to pay a ticket here. The staff was courteous and professional. I'm impressed how they kept their cool with so many people with different temperaments.
Had a wonderful experience. All staff were extremely nice, best customer service we've ever had at a government building. The judge was amazing, thank you!
The security is very thorough but courtesy level was high. Felt safe during my visit once at the window was also treated with kindness and understanding.
Some may have bad experience going here but for me was actually very good. The staff were very nice and the judge was very understanding and helpful.
Called to pay my ticket and my call was disconnected, but thanks to Ms Marta she called me back so i could make my payment thank u so so much!!!
So the lady in the information desk she was nice, but then we went into court 7 and the judge was not helpful so thats why im giving it 3 stars
Be prepared to pay $5 for parking space only credit card is acceptable for payment overall it was fast i was in and out in about 20 min
Some of the rudest people you will meet in your life. We need to vote better Houston. These people do not deserve their positions.
My husband and I got married. The staff , they were so polite and super friendly. The experience there was pleasant.
MCD Weddings is great. We had our wedding officiated here. It was less than 10 mins but was very meaningful.
If you get judge kim edwards your screwed. She making you pay for the tickets even if you bring proof.
The service is great, even though there are some exceptions from some of the administrative clerks
Trying to reach the call center and kept getting hung up on. 5 attempts and 30 minutes wasted.
Nice building. Doing jury duty here today. So far no issues. Judge and staff helpful.
Lots of stairs, but no ramp. Was not very crowded and was quicker than normal.
Annex special prosecutors office treated me VERY KINDLY. VERY GOOD PEOPLE.
Parking does not have to be paid after noon. Read the signs, it's 6a-12p
No body like to come to court, but so far nice people, good parking
Horrible judge and police enforcing unconstitutional policies.
Place was clean. Staff had attitudes. Very unprofessional.
Will not let the public record don't know the laws
