"One of the last GOOD hardware stores"
I love this store and as a construction worker i have visited many times throughout the years. Ive recommended this place to many friends, family and customers of mine. Always clean with friendly staff. Today was different. My girlfriend and i stopped in for some things and looked around for things we need for our home. We were disturbed as some of the sales people followed us around the store as if we were going to steal the items that we had in our hands. That feeling that you get when someone is watching you weighs heavy in this store. To my surprise i see an employee looking around the corner from outside the aisle directly at my girlfriend and i. Before i can make it known that i have spotted him he starts walking towards us and asks if we needed help. "Were fine thank you i implied". Moments later he returns to our aisle to do some dusting of the shelves still watching us and started making small talk about the world and prices going up ect.. He then leaves us alone and another employee comes and asks if we need help while being stared at from a far by management. it made me angry that they treat customers with such suspicion here. I did notice that the store was very empty. I think they have raised the prices too high, and combined with the sales people following people around they are losing business. We felt so uncomfortable we only bought what we needed, normally we spend a lot of money. But not this time. If you want to feel welcome and respected, don't shop here.
Went in to buy a Dewalt blower looked around for assistance after finding no one to help I had to go ask the cashier to call for help to get the blower off the top shelf. I waited a few minutes for guy to get up to front to help. I repeatedly showed the guy the blower I wanted and I joked "too bad I'm not 2 inches taller I could of just grabbed it myself" that is when he said that's why we keep them so high to keep people like you from getting them. I then told him "well you can keep it then.". I went to home depot picked one up off shelf, payed for it and walked out without being accused of being a thief I worked for ace for 4 and 1/2 years would have been fired if I treated customer like that
The store is clean and well organized, they even have a very small outdoor garden section! However the customer service isn't quite up to par with other Ace hardware stores I've been to. I believe this is partly because of the newer staff, so I believe that aspect will improve! I was tempted to turn in an application seeing the help wanted signs as I'm looking for a part time job. However the uniform shirts are not wearer friendly! White button ups in a thicker material not only unflattering but hot, restricting, and white is never a good color for work! I'll probably apply to a different store... first time I've seen this hideous uniforms.
Every time I go in there it's clean classy respectable and awesome. This place is always been my go-to for the last 10 years in this neighborhood. I went in and needed a special product and it was a bit hard to find for me as I am not a plumber. The customer service is always second to none and the employees have got their stuff down. I wish that all hardware stores were like this. I don't go to home Depot or Lowe's anymore.
One of the last GOOD hardware stores. Home Depot and Lowes are the walmarts of hardware they dont count. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They ask great questions and offer advice for your project. Prices are competitive. The store also has a great selection, it's bigger than most hardware stores in the area. Not counting the walmart hardware stores mentioned above.
First visit. First impression. Very professional and helpful. The staff was knowledgeable and helped me with my search for a tap bit. Even though the size I needed wasn't available, I was pointed in the right direction to fund what I needed. I'll be returning to this Ace store should I be looking for any other tools or accessories.
Had to get a single pane window replaced. Joe was very helpful and polite, the best part though was he kept his word when it would be done...a dying tradition in today's world. Was really impressed with the store and the employees. Very reasonable price and good work. Another project off my to do list. Thanks.
Great place to get parts for home repairs, furniture repair, the staff knowledgeable about locations of all metric and standard screws, nuts, bolt and other pieces, that got lost. Or when a screw falls out.. John Bender: Screws just fall out all the time, the world is an imperfect place
The two gentlemen were wonderful helping us find everything last week, although the cashier Doria was ignorent and rude. We purchased quite a few items one wS fiberglass repair kit. She said someone smells real bad. When we got home we opened the bag and the can of resin was open !
Horrible experience. Old woman was rude because I asked if they had brass caps for a gas line. Left my cart in the isle and left. I will never return at this location again and screw that old lady get younger people with more knowledge and a better attitude
Some of the best customer service you can still find at any store these days. Sometimes I come here as much for the advice as I do for the convenience. Prices are slightly higher than Home Depot, but not enough to warrant the extra drive.
Employees very helpful. Find inventory low on some advertised sale items. A bit more expensive, but much quicker and personalized shopping, than in big box stores. Worth it to me!!
I like this place. Not so big that I get lost looking for what I need. Ace usually has what I need. Shopping in the day is best, most are helpful and knowledgeable.
Awesome customer service! Clean store. Friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Reasonable prices. I highly recommend this store to everyone. …
Liked how kind the guy was to me.(I forgot ask for his name) Understandable and friendly. I LIKE YOUR GUYS
Typical Ace. They surprisingly ha e a decent grill supply section
Copy car key here with chip copy. It’s cost $80 but without fob
Had the florescent light bulbs I needed and they were on sale.
Scotty was very helpful. Met all my needs at the store.
