Shhhh we wanna keep it secret "Looking for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city? Look no further than Howe Park in Windsor! The grass is always greener and the scenery is breathtaking. Take a walk along the riverside and make your way to Cornwallis Park via the Rickaby Creek footbridge. The riverbank is beautifully lined with trees and other greenery, making for a serene and peaceful stroll. And don't worry about parking - there are plenty of spots available along the terrace or in the council-free parking on Kable Street. Take in the views of the other side of the river, often referred to as "little Bondi" due to its sandy beaches and beautiful lookout points. It's a great spot to take a daily walk with a friend and have a good chat. Don't miss out on the beauty of Windsor Riverside, it's a place to be!"

It is a beautiful park to go to for b.b.q. or lunch. Or just sit and relax or read or have a look at the river from the viewing platform. Their is a walking cement track which is suitable for disabled people. Also across the street from the park is a toilet block also suitable for the disabled people. Shopping center is just up the road which also has amenities suitable for the disabled. I hope you enjoy your time there as I do.

Easier parking than in Windsor proper. Ate in at the un-named cafe-thingy. No shelter from the cold wind (and I like walking in windy conditions). Ordered the Special breakfast. White toast that was too large for the narrow lightweight plate that moved all about the table when trying to cut food. Very flimsy plastic cutlery would not cut toast or thin sausage or bacon. Simply amazingly awful.

This is a very nice park for a chat, quiet time with loved ones etc. Good for walking dogs, jogging, pushing a stroller or wheelchair access. No BBQ available however just on the other side of the river, over the bridge is bbq facilities, kids park and more. The area is kept well with beautiful lawn, well mowed and maintained, also close to many shops.

A nice quiet park overlooking the Hawkesbury River with lots of benches in the shade to enjoy the breeze off the river. There are toilet facilities in an adjacent car park that are well maintained. There is not much in the way of picnic facilities though so they could use some more tables and a couple of electric bar-b-cues perhaps.

Lovely area for a walk. Just down the street from the Windsor Riverview Shopping Centre and the WIndsor town centre. Perfect view of the Hawkesbury river and plenty of attractive shady trees along the path. Parking available. Particularly nice for an evening stroll.

  • Suzanne Goldsmith

A pleasant evenings walk along the river included Howe Park. Yhe trees were beautiful. The grass has been recently mown but it was a shame that the clippings were still all over the lawn. It didn't make for a nice place to sit and enjoy the sunset.

  • Joel Cotter (RyderSelexin)

Fantastic location with a nice flat footpath to use. Beautiful views over the river and back to the bridge, along with park benches and nicely maintained grass areas for picnics. Lacking some play areas and tables for further public amenity.

  • Matt Greene

Great little walk. Nice pathway and kept clean. Water taps/bubblers for dogs and humans. Have to take your own bags for your dog as there is none on site. Top ON LEASH walk , and would be great for photos at dusk and dawn.

Catch up with a friend here for lovely paved walks that meander through well established trees, lawns, and gardens. It's our preferred place to meet, and the mall nearby has tasty food choices when we get hungry

  • Juli Jeffrey

Lovely tourist spot and great river views, beautiful trees. It always seems to be in a state of disrepair, even though the maintenance team works hard. A landslip hasn't helped. Definitely a nice walking spot

This is a nice walk along the river from Windsor with views through the trees of the river. It is good for kids to ride our scoot along the concrete path. There are a number of spots to sit and enjoy at.

  • Claire Inglis

Very romantic to stroll around the area with a special someone and also good to have a picnic or catch up with friends. The park is also clean and very quiet and serene. Good for de-stressing and unwind.

Quiet, Relaxing and as active as you require with a walk along Parramatta River. Plenty of seats for a rest. The Cafe provides good food and a nice atmosphere after, or before your walk. Recommended.

This is a beautiful peaceful place to walk along or to eat near. The close road can provide a bit of traffic, slightly disturbing. And the walkways are slightly damaged by the 2022 flooding.

Relaxing biking or walking trail. Access to river and sand is on the opposite side from Macquarie Park, which has a children's playground and restaurant too

  • Howard Glinn

Perfect place to walk the dogs then get fish and chips from Windsor Seafood for a lovely relaxing outing. So many beautiful old heritage houses on the walk

Beautiful! A great back drop for picnics or small outdoor gatherings. There is a small carpark, or park over at the Woolworths underground parking.

  • BlueSuzy

Path is rough and too short. Path should continue on to Governor Phillip Park but doesn't. Should be made similar to the paths along Nepean river

  • Steve Robbo

Great place for kids , I walked along the side of the river with Granddaughter and Daughter, it was peaceful and beautiful.
