Please ignore off topic review talking about a pharmacist named Joe. That pharmacy is SAFEWAY. Get your facts and location straight. This is an IDA store. There is a traditional pharmacy, a compounding pharmacy, a veterinary medicines pharmacy, a housewares section, a post office and a home health section. In the housewares section they stock Paderno and are able to order from many other brands. This is all in one location. It's where I bought a Paderno cooling rack(cakes) for our religious community. At the front there is a donation bin for the less fortunate members in the community. Staff are knowledgeable and I have been able to pick up specialty first aid supplies there. You can't do that at a grocery store.

I read the other reviews about how unprofessional this pharmacy is about closing even though you call in advance. I received a package slip for Canada Post. I saw that it noted that I could pick up my package up until 7pm. I checked Google and it showed that the Canada post outlet at Glenmore Landing was open until 7pm. I get to the place and there's a big sign on the door stating that it's closed at 5pm. I arrived at 5:01. It's sad that they treat customers so poorly.

I frequent this area often but am annoyed by how there are never any parking spots closer to the doors. After speaking with the parking security, I’ve come to learn it’s because of the staff of this pharmacy parking their cars at the closest spots for 8 hours a day. Worse part is when I see people go into their car and think they’re going to leave and instead they sit in them and start doing inappropriate things together!

When you close at 5:00pm it should be at 5:00 pm not earlier. Horrible especially when the girl looked at me and locked it. I even went to the door before five and pulled on it and it was locked. I needed medicine that was ready at the pharmacy and now I have to wait till tomorrow. -before you all complain I could get here any sooner and it should not make a difference

I cannot believe how wonderful and helpful the compounding department are. Unparalleled service, compassion, understanding and immediate help. This level of service is extremely hard to find these days so I am happy to have found them (and they have some incredible gifts and in this store I always find something to make someone's day happier. Sandstone Pharmacy and Glenmore Landing Compounding have been great to deal with. Nas and the other pharmacists in the compounding department have made up a special medicine for our ferret many times on short notice. This veterinary medicine is life-saving for our pet ferret.
