Ok fridY night in los angeles a place that has been calling itself a city for decades when it's more like a collection of towns and hamlets connected by a freeway system I'll equipped to deal with the sheer numbers of folks that travel in and around d this alleged metropolis. Growing up up NYC and on the upper east side (86th and lex and long Island and Brooklyn and the village) I would say I have been exposed to all the things that help to make a city great. I am well traveled having tour in one capacity ir another through Berlin hamburg Gstaad Paris London Athens Morocco Tokyo basically anywhere that has a legit stage slight smaller then or slight l y larger then most Broadway stages at thatctime well versed on city's a d a pie e of connective tissue in all the places is an above average taxi service system . Not los angeles now rare is the time I don't use Uber or lyft but this was one the dispatcher was at first dismissive letting me know I t would be around 40 mins which I understood I waited until over 2 hours after I initially ordered tve car to call back. The gentleman on the other e d of the line was oddly not sy.oathetic to my lk g wait emphasizing several times how he was clear when he said HE would call ME when the car was on that there was no reason for me to call again unless it was to cancel I mean he was down right confrontational like I had done something to him . Needless to say that I hung up called another company who was able to send a car and get me home before I had heard back from independent cab I did not answer I figured they made it clear that I as a customer was mot pleased and he made it clear that he as a member of the staff was not the least bit invested in how I felt about my stay there so I simply will not and I don't recomend anyone else does if they have local options

**BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY** **DRIVERS ASSAULT CLIENTS** I would give this 0 stars if I could! Our bald Russian driver started driving me and my gf on a 5 min. ride immediately next to LAX property, and waits til we're on the way to inform us that there's supposedly a ridiculous $20 minimum. When we asked to stop the cab right away he said it would still be $20. We had no choice but to ride with this little shady move of his. Then I noticed when we arrived that the meter said only $7.25 . When questioned about it, he couldn't justify why that was what the meter read or why there was a$20 minimum and could only say "trust me". I handed him $10 and told him thats all i would pay without documentation. In response he physically assaults me by grabbing my arm then my gf's bag and tries to rip it out of my hand and won't let go unless i paid him $20! When I refuse and tell him to show me a sign or documentation showing me this minimum he literally tears my gf's designer bag by repeatedly attempting to pull me with the bag into his vehicle! I began wondering if he was attempting to take me hostage! Ironically an Uber driver passing by witnessed the incident and pulled up behind while my gf is on the phone w/ the police and gets the whole incident on his dashboard camera. I called the company w/ his license plate to file a complaint and got another Russian, supposedly a "supervisor" named (Leo?) on the phone who backed up his employee's physical assault on a customer and told me to go ahead and wait for the cops to arrive. Long story short, we were strongarmed by these con artists into paying a bogus fare... literally. Avoid at all costs.

Very rude Dispatcher who considers himself the Supervisor and went by the name of "Alfredo #9". I have no shame in leaving this review as I called to also tell him about himself. I called a cab on behalf of an elder gentlemen who had no cellphone. In the midst of me doing so, my bus came but I did not want to leave this man stranded so I finished with the call. "Alfredo #9" was very rude in helping me. First, he went to say he can not pick him up from a bus a stop. Secondly, I provided all businesses around the location (fairfax and 3rd) and he continued to say what he can't do. It's really pathetic that, even if he is unable to help, there are ways you going about communicating. Besides, it's 52 degrees, an elderly man who has no cellphone, and wants to go to the Hospital (non-emergency so he was gonna catch the bus). You would think with such circumstances "Alfredo #9" would have the heart to try and provide great customer service to assist the man. Furthermore, when I did force him to just send the cab to Trader Joe's because the elder man would see the cab and walk there, "Alfredo #9" said thank you and hung up in my face. Common courtesy or I would say business practice would be saying "thank you. We are sending a dispatcher and he should arrive in 10minutes are so". I see why Uber and Lyft will continue to thrive. I wish I could have booked one for him instead but it didn't cross my mind since I was accommodating the man's idea to call him a Cab. Propel don't understand that they have family and would not appreciate if it was their loved ones on the other end being treated in the manner they choose to treat others.

We came in to LAX and informed the taxi driver that we were going to El Segundo. We know that there is a base charge of $15.00 for all departures emanating from the airport. Immediately, the gave us bad attitude. He just threw the two pieces of luggage into the trunk without organizing it so it fit then slammed the door. Didn't say one word for the entire trip and then when he exited the airport area, he began driving about ten miles an hour! When we arrived at the destination near the Hacienda Hotel at Mariposa and Sepulveda, I told him to pull into the driveway but he just stopped in the middle of the street and wouldn't open the trunk! Then he started shouting, "Give me the money, give me the money!" without actually stating what the price of the fare actually was or getting out of the driver's seat at all. We said, "Open the trunk and give us our luggage right now before we call the police". Finally he screamed, "$19.00" and when we handed him a twenty dollar bill, he threw a handful of pennies at us and they fell on the floor of the taxi. He popped open the trunk and we pulled or luggage out. This was an unbelievably rude and terribly upsetting experience. I would give this experience a negative rating here on YELP but that is not possible unfortunately. I would NEVER, ever use this taxi service again and I would urge people to boycott this taxi service. I am also reporting this taxi service to the El Segundo city council so that they are aware of how their tax paying citizens are being mistreated.

We were visiting Los Angeles for the first time and used Bus from Las Vegas. After arriving Greyhound Bus Station in LA, we took this Taxi to take us to Hotel on Franklin Avenue, Hollywood. The taxi driver was driving in a very unusual way. Very frequent braking, and slow even on freeway. All other cars were passing us and the driver was braking for no reason. Even when there were pockets of light traffic he was constantly braking. It was so unusual that it easily became apparent that he "wants" the meter to run as long as possible.I read the rate chart where it was mentioned $0.30 for each 37 seconds and hence it became clear to me as what he was doing. Individuals/persons who drive for 8+ hours daily would not display such a bad driving. Taxi drivers are supposed to be professional at driving and not exhibit such driving behavior. I thought of pointing it out to the driver right at that moment that he is braking too much and I know what he is trying to do, but refrained as I did not want to be taken through a longer route? I had rather noted down his permit number. I don't know what exactly he earned from it because not only his horrific driving used up more fuel but would have caused more wear & tear than what he got by making meter run longer. All the time I stayed in LA, I tool many other cabs and did not experience any issues. I bet, if I visit again I wouldn't take a cab from Independent Taxi Co.

Had a cab take me from downtown Los Angeles to LAX. It clearly states on the placard that it is a flat rate of $46.50 to the airport but this cab driver tried running the meter on me. After I called him out on it at the airport, he stated cash only for that rate. He then proceeded to charge me $46.50 plus a $4.00 transport tax that at the time I didn't realize was only for fares that originated at the airport, not to the airport. Then he told me that I had to tip him cash and not put it on my business card. I called the company the following day and reported the cab driver. They agreed to send me a check for the $4.00 plus the $5.00 tip I gave him, I didn't ask for them to refund the fare because I didn't think it was their fault. A week goes by and I get a money order in the mail for $9.00 with the exception that it is not signed, which makes in worthless according to my bank, without the purchasers signature and address, it means nothing. I call the company and she just tells me to sign it (which is fraud) or I can come down to the station and they will have someone sign it. I tell her I live in Minneapolis and she specifically says, "well then I guess you do have a problem" I left a message with the supposed "VP" of the company and have never heard back. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, cab companies are all known for being crooked, what else is new? This was cab number 1070

I had an extremely distressing and appalling experience with Independent Taxi, specifically with the driver named Angel. During a medical transportation reservation to Orange County, Angel not only demanded cash upfront but also made a deeply disturbing and racist remark. He explicitly stated that he would call the police on me, a person of color on Medi-Cal, and implied that they wouldn’t believe me, putting my safety at risk. It was a horrifying moment of discrimination and intimidation. This level of unprofessional behavior is completely unacceptable, and Independent Taxi must take immediate action to address it. Such treatment goes against any standard of decency and respect for passengers. I will be reporting this incident to the proper authorities and bringing it to the attention of Independent Taxi management. Discrimination and threats have no place in any service, and it’s crucial that companies like Independent Taxi prioritize the safety and well-being of all their passengers. I want to remind everyone that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their race, ethnicity, or financial situation. Let’s work together to stand against racism and discrimination in all forms and ensure that incidents like this are appropriately addressed and prevented in the future.

Driver didn't know where he was going and customer service was a joke. I gave the driver the address of my hotel when we left from the airport. He took me to the wrong place, (Redondo Beach Dr. instead of Redondo Beach Blvd.) and claimed I gave him the wrong address. He also tried to claim we'd been on the right road, but since I had been looking at Google maps, I knew that was a lie. When I called him on it, he suddenly was okay with me paying him less than full fare in cash. Unfortunately, I didn't have any cash and when I went to find an ATM in the hotel lobby, he left the meter running, so I owed even more when I came out. (No ATM in the hotel.) It ended up costing me almost double what the return trip to the airport the next morning did. I called the company a week later to complain and ask for a refund and they were incredibly unprofessional. The customer service rep literally laughed at me when I asked for a refund and then tried to guilt trip me on waiting "so long" to call to complain and said "they wouldn't do anything" for me. I didn't tell him, but the only reason I waited 7 days is because my bank said the charge would have to post to my account before I could dispute it. Hope they enjoy the tedious paperwork they could have avoided if they'd just been halfway decent!

Ordered the cab in advance for a certain time. Cab arrived, I was downstairs and told him give me a min. About 3 minutes later I got in the cab with another person and the driver said in no wait I have a call. I asked who are you here to pick up? I told him I called for this cab, he then forced out a name of a man. He kept saying, oh no Im on a call. We got out and he sat there a few minutes on his phone. I called the dispatcher who confirmed that he is driver that is supposed to pick us up. she put me on hold and then let me know that another cab was a mile away. When that driver arrived I told him where I needed to go and right before we got there he got into the far left lane and kept driving. As soon as I said wait it's right here let me out. He was very hostile and tried to provoke an argument I'm guessing. He kept saying he cant get over to the right. I said well let me out on the other side. He was attempting to pass my destination and getting rude because I didn't let him drive me where he wanted to. This company has some racist weirdos with the Wrong attitude to be working directly with people.

This was the worst taxi ride I have ever taken. We had gotten in the cab because he was just outside our starting location. We had repeatedly told him the name of our destination which was a well known establishment. When he did not know this place by name we gave him the address. He plugged in the wrong address and he proceeded to take us to the wrong location. We had been driving for quite some time when we realized he was taking the wrong direction. Our destination should have only been 1-1.5 miles down the road. He only redirected after we told him this was the wrong way. We then had to tell him using our own phones as GPS to get to our destination. A trip that should have only been 1-1.5 miles down the same street resulted in an extremely costly mistake made by the driver who then still charged us for his error. Also, when we complained using their feedback request, they proceeded to claim they were on the right using broken English and multiple typos. This company is completely unprofessional. This was a terrible experience and I would never recommend them to anyone. They are thieves.

Took a cab (#1155) 7/21/17 at 9am, back from LAX to Koreatown, my first words in the cab was "Are you able to give receipts?" Cab driver said "yes". This trip is suppose to be a work expense so I needed that receipt. I'm new to LA and its unfair for me to say he took the long way but I know he took the 105 to the 110 and my trip ended up being $62.35. Once we arrived he said I needed to pay cash and gave me Independent Taxi's business card which has fields you can hand write in your cost. This would never go over at my job as an official receipt and I told him so. He insisted that I had to pay cash even though I saw his credit card machine on the back of the driver's seat. He would not relent and made me feel extremely guilty for not having the cash on me. That was until I threaten to call the Taxicab authority which I think only exist in Las Vegas NV. At that point suddenly I was able to use my Credit Card and get a real receipt. Next time I will defiantly take Lyft, as the same exact trip cost $34.38 with no chance of getting ripped off again. Stay away from this company!

Trip to Disneyland. Take this cab. I searched best route. Show 48 mins and 36 miles. He took us 48 miles and well over an hour. On a sunday with light traffic. We drove by the same gas station 3 times atleast. Back on freeway and into a home depot parking lot. I gave simple instruction to resort and specific hotel He gave us the circle around long route scam. Cost way more. Then he threatened to call cops or 911 when i said i would only pay 36 miles since he was pulling a scam. Do not use these guys ever! Rent a car. Take an uber. Do not use a taxi especially these guys they will take advantage of people from out of town. Talk about a great way to start a trip. Total @ss#ole! He also tried to get me to run my card a second time after it already went through. He would not tell me the actual miles before payment then just threatened us after. Sick really. To think he spoke on bad crime and overpopulation on the ride when he is a crook himself. Also drove like a freakin maniac. Not safe!

I was a pedestrian helping an elderly Russian speaking gentleman get a cab. I don't speak Russian but I called the number he gave me and was able to get him a cab. Very quickly but the first cab was an English speaking person very so I recalled cab service they were very kind and curtious translated what he needed and resent another cab with a Russian speaking driver. Thru the confusion it was about 15 min before all was good (my fault I was a little confused because I couldn't communicate I did ask if they could try to get someone out right away because I could tell he was struggling with standing they called me back in. A min and let me know my cab would be there in 3 mins. He arrived full of life and took over. I was very happy to see the gentleman (who I don't know I was just passing and seen he needed help) feel at home and get in his cab. Everyone was kind and compassionate. If I should ever need a cab or would definitely recommend.

Avoid this company. I had a painful mishap today with a driver, causing an injury. When we arrived at the destination, he demanded double the meter in cash. The phone menu includes an option to pay with a card and that's how I booked. He said to give him cash or get out. I told him I didn't have cash. He started yelling and took off before I could get my other bag out of the cab. I tried calling numerous times for help and six times I was disconnected. The times I was connected, it was to a dispatcher with a terrible attitude who would not pay enough attention to what I was saying and kept saying I didn't say what I said. My foot is swollen and I can't walk without pain, and there is personal property I need in that bag. This was all caused by a driver who tried to overcharge me. No one at LA Independent cab seems to care about anything but blaming me for everything. There are other can companies out there. Stay away from this one.

I have been taking cabs for 15 years from downtown Los Angeles to LAX. My significant other drives cab in San Francisco. He had to go to school to learn, among other things, what terminals hold what airlines. Today, my driver didn't know what terminal Virgin was housed. He called dispatch. Driver is English as second language. Dispatch didn't understand him so he called me to ask what airline. He directed me to terminal 2. Well, to my surprise, VIRGIN AMERICA is terminal 6. VIRGIN ATLANTIC is terminal 2. I called dispatch, and manager could not take responsibility. You see, if I had told him it was VIRGIN AMERICA, I would have been given correct terminal. You are the professional, you should know customer may not be aware there are two VIRGINS. Due to the upper management's response and attitude, I won't take this company again

The worst customer service ever!!! I am a manager at a hotel. i called to book a cab that we had booked for a guest the night before. WE WERE told the cab was on the way. They even remembered the guest's name. The guest waited 30 minutes and decided to call to find out where the cab was, the rudest lady in the world ON 1/10/23 9:18pm was yelling at us told us we were rude and stated she called us back but know answer. we are a hotel we have to answer our phones. She hung up in my face as if I was bothering her. We have corporate guest and a lot of guests that stay here, we call cabs for our guest. Never again!!! and i will tell every hotel in the area DO NOT BOOK or work with this cab company again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!! and that women is going to tear your business apart she is the devil.

Make sure you call at least two hours before you have to be somewhere, or better yet call a different taxi service. Was down here for Disneyland and when I called this taxi company for a ride to the amtrak train station, they claimed the driver would be there in 15-20 minutes. Took them about an hour and a half to get to me, even though I was staying a few blocks away from their building, and I had to call them back several times asking where the driver was and the person on the phone kept asking for my address even though I told him where I was several times. Thankfully I arrived at my train 5 minutes before it was going to depart. Their pricing is expensive and not worth the money, and if you have a train or plane to catch they might make you miss it.

I flew in from SFO to LAX last night, and jumped into an Independent Cab curbside at about 8pm. As the driver dropped me off at my destination, I forgot my phone in the back seat. I did not realize until several minutes later, but he was already gone. I contacted the company's dispatch, told them the situation and left my contact information. Later that night, I received a call at the house that the driver had my phone and would bring it to me the next morning. I spoke with the driver (Jack), confirmed my address and he delivered my phone back to me. I paid for the fare to cover his driving, but that certainly beats the hassle of getting a new iphone. Disaster averted! Thank you Jack and Independent Cab Company.

This company’s driver is shady as hell. The driver showered up at LAX taxi line. I asked driver to bring me to the hotel 7 minutes away. The driver is annoyed that it’s so close and asked me to go to shuttle. He quoted $30 which was ridiculous for 7 minutes drive but I went with it. The driver seemed upset and mumbled something “American”. The driver did not have his meter on the entire time. When we arrived, the driver pull up his phone with a personal card reader, and the payment goes to his personal account instead of using the car’s built in card reader. Last night, I requested a taxi to pick me up at 5:35 this morning. At 5am, I get a call saying my taxi is on its way and will be here in 10 minutes. That’s 25 minutes early! So I rush to be ready and then step outside, knowing my taxi will be here any minute. Well…it’s 5:40am now and after calling the company, I now know that they haven’t even found me a driver yet. I made this request last night! That’s plenty of time to find me a driver. And why tell me my taxi is ten minutes away when I don’t actually have a taxi yet? I’m pretty annoyed. Oof and I just called them again and apparently, my ride was cancelled!?! When!?! By who!?! Argh! I have a flight to catch!

Worst company I have every dealt with. I had a horrible experience with the taxi driver. When I called to issue a complaint I was ignored even though I left three voicemails. A week later and I still hadn't heard back. Finally I got through to someone. I just wanted my money back because the taxi driver had not taken me to my destination and I had had to walk alone in the middle of the night. The man who I talked to was incredibly rude to me, and yelled at me on the phone. Even if he was unable to give me my money back, he still could have treated me like a human being. I would give this zero stars if I could.

We had the worst, most uncomfortable taxi experience with Independent Taxi Cab Company. We got picked up in the taxi line at LAX by cab #1150. When we told him we were going to Culver City he started berating us for "only picking taxi for short rides when Uber is expensive." He spent the entire ride swearing under his breath and driving recklessly. He got even more upset when we paid with credit card instead of cash. Say what you will about Uber and Lyft but if their competition is going to harass customers who are trying to give them business we'll have no choice but to stick with them.

Got in the cab and asked to be dropped off in Venice beach from Santa Monica he never put the meter on but was using a white box under the meter so I assumed that this was a new thing I got a cab a day before and they charged me 7 dollers so I gave him 10 dollers and said keep the change This guy taxi number 228 said 15 dollers for the same trip after explaining about the day before with another firm he said u pay me 15 very rudely I said about his meter he said 15 dollers I said I will never use your taxi firm again So number 228 independent taxi firm avoid this guy as he charges double

I attempted to create a taxi reservation at the corner outside the Convention Center. Filled out their forms, waited 10 minutes for the email response that they said they would give. The company responded that "there is a taxi stand 2 blocks away." I have luggage so it is not easy to walk there, plus I cannot find the taxi stand on the map. So I called and they said they do not take reservations for the convention center. I explained that I would give a 1 star review because their website is inaccurate and wasting peoples' time. Thus, I am giving a 1 star review.

We would like to go from LAX to Venice Beach. Google says we should take to Highway 1, but the driver 1066 drove Sepulveda Blvd and Jefferson. He told us the street is in work. After arriving we would like to pay with CC, He told us we HAVE to give min. 15% tip. I tried to choose another amount and then 0.- but he tried to change it again, because 15% is minimum, he said. After discussing we could pay the normal amount... On the way back, with Uber, there was no street work at Highway 1. So, were the street closed today and do you HAVE to give alsways tip?

LAX terminal 1 independent cab driver asked where I was going and said playa del Rey, he refused to take me and said I should have taken cab in front but that driver told me he already had a fare so he wouldn't and I already had to get out of his cab so this driver told me to get out. What a bunch of ..... Haven't had this experience at LAX only at John Wayne because I had a short cab trip. Plus my sunglasses caught on the door getting out and broke getting out of the first cab. Welcome to cabbies at LAX. No wonder ride-sharing is taking their business.

When the cab was late, I called the dispatcher who claims I gave a different address and cross street (nothing even remotely close to what I had given). I corrected her and she said he would be along in 15 minutes, After 20 minutes and he still had not arrived, I called again and the dispatcher claimed I was not standing at the location. The driver finally arrived after I had been waiting 45 minutes. He was pleasant and a good driver, but I am incensed that the dispatcher would call me a liar and misrepresent how long it would take to rectify.

Beyond expectation!!!. after waiting about an hour with my mother at santa monica hospital for a wheel chair accessible van somebody recommended Independent Cab .So I called them & was surprised how nice the dispatcher was,he promised to have one in less than 10 minutes,I was pessimistic but had no choice. Believe me the cab was there in about 6 minutes,my drive AL was very pleasant & safe.Now when ever i am in santa monica i give them a ring & i love all those priuses they have so adorable. Terrible. They couldn't find my address at 1st, which I confirmed with the owner of the restaurant and a picture of the address in front of me that it was correct. The customer service rep was rude and hung up on me. I, later, got a call stating that the driver was at my location. Once I walked outside, he or she was nowhere to be found. The rep on the phone stated "it says the driver is there, on my end, so there's nothing else that I can do to help you". Terrible

I waited 35 minutes and then I paid by credit card. My fare was $8.85 and I was giving the driver $12.00. He said it was refused. I gave him another credit card which he said was refused. I paid him cash and immediately called the bank. Both credit cards were charged so I paid him 3 times for 1 trip. I called the taxi service and they sent me to a voice mail. OF COURSE they never called me back because they probably get a cut. BEWARE! The cab #1051 is a thief.

Worst taxi experience in the US! My ride was $9.19 and the driver told me that the minimum threshold was $10. That's the first time I had heard that but I decided to go for it since I had no other way to pay. He then took my cc and arbitrarily decided to charge me $15, out of nowhere!!!! It was then too late to cancel. Very bad experience, I will never use this company anymore and I strongly advise not to use them since they basically rip off their clients.

I was waiting for 30 min for an uber I never got due to high demand and no drivers answering my call. Independent Taxi had at least 20 vehicles and I got into 1128 driven by Yegveny. He was very polite and professional and took me all the way out to Hacienda heights. The cost was equivalent to what the ubers were charging at the time. I'm very thankful he was there to take me to my hotel. I will use them again in the future when I'm in town :)

I was at lax taxi line up. Asked price charge to my residence. Seemed reasonable. The driver didn’t have GPS told me he knew where the apt located. OMG the route he took was the longest out of the way to drive to my location. I argued with this European accented driver about his going long route. He was totally attempting to higher the fare! NEVER EVER had this type of rip off, taxi service. STAY AWAY DON’T USE this car service!!!!

I'm sure not every time you call a cab you will get the same result, but I called Independent Taxi because I couldn't trust Uber drivers to get me to the airport on time. I had one hour to get from DTLA to my seat on the plane at LAX and my driver Hovsep delivered. The dispatch was quick enough, they communicated with me as cab was about to arrive and the driver, Hovsep, was a pleasure to talk to. Thank you very much Independent!!

Placed an order online for a Taxi for my mother from the hospital to her home as I was unable to pick her up. Order was placed at 6:30PM for 8:00PM pickup. At 7:45PM I received a call asking for pickup address confirmation. I said I would place him on hold, verify and update the address. The operator was very unprofessional and responded: Are you serious? Ugh, never mind I am canceling your ride. Then proceeded to hang up on me.

I have never experienced a company and a manager so unapologetiy rude and nasty in my life. They are racist! They yelled at me over the phone, insulted me and wouldnt let me speak. Rude, low class company. I don't even believe that this is a real company the way they respond to potential customers over the phone. Disgusting. They are racist at independent taxi company. Do not use their service! There are a lot of other options.

I get a call at 11:30 pm for a 9am pick up. Letting me know that if we do no fly with our granddaughter's car seat they will be canceling our reservation. I told her that we are going on a cruise and she is sitting on our lap for the flight so we could not be bring a car seat when this was something I asked for when I made the reservation a month ago. So now I have to find how 6 of us are getting to the cruise ship.

We paid with card and the driver said it didn’t go through even though we had proof on our bank statement. He then kept us waiting for 15 minutes trying to convince us that we needed to pay him extra and being very aggressive. Then I called to complain to the company and the supervisor goes “well he’s an adult, not a kid... what am I supposed to do”. This is a Terrible company Save yourself the trouble and avoid

I used the online app and it said it was scheduled. I went outside to wait. After 45 minutes I went back inside to call them. They said it would be another 10 minutes so I went back outside to wait. Having waited an hour and a half total I called again. He told me the driver came and left because I was not outside. Out of sheer rudeness he hung up on me. Not the first time they hung up on me. Look elsewhere.

WORST SERVICE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! Driver 1150 got angry at the fact that our trip from the airport to our hotel was short and was being very rude, yelled at us, drove at a high speed and terribly exposing us, reckless driving. Charged whatever he wanted and wanted to charge in cash, which we didn't have. Was rude at me and yelled to both my husband and me. He even approached me in an aggressive way.

Got my confirmation of a pre-ordered cab to the airport this morning. Still had heard no word from driver or dispatch 15 minutes before our supposed departure time at 4am, called them, and was informed that they had no taxis. Were you even going to tell me, or just let me wait around until I missed my flight? I called Yellow Cab LA and they had someone there in 10 minutes.

The driver demanded cash right away, said our trip was too short and he was going to lose money on it. We asked to get out because we didn't have cash and he wouldn't stop. The meter was running and it said $16 but he wanted $20. Don't use this company, ever!! He's cab 1058, but from reading previous reviews it sounds like all of the drivers are dishonest at this company.

This was the worst experience ever! I was dropped off at the wrong location. When I questioned the destination, the cabbie claimed he verified it on GPS. Liar liar liar! How can you work in LA and not know that Hill street has a north and south section. Thank goodness for the kindness of strangers. A good Samaritan gave me a ride since I was 37 min away walking distance.

But he did not answer my phone calls or text at all. I wish he doesn't have a daughter, and if he has, the girl would get help when she is a strange city all by herself

The taxi showed up in time. I rang and asked for a cab and they said the wait would be 10-15 minutes. 10 minutes later, I rang and asked what had happened and they said they had a cab on the way, but the wait would be 5 more minutes. Needless to say, I didn't believe them, but it arrived on time! The taxi driver was courteous and helped us with our stuff.

I needed to go from LAX to Thousand Oaks, I checked the UBER price, which was $62. The taxi driver said he would be less...it,s even on the business card..."FARES LESS THAN AIRPORT SHUTTLE & UBER" The fare was $137, and the driver basically said too bad. DO NOT USE THEM, what a rip off. Ive never written a bad review, but this one really deserves it!

Great service, and so fast. Arrived in minutes, took the best route to my drop location, got me to my train on time, and didn't gouge the price. My online quote was $12 and the total was only $10. My driver was great, very personable and we had a fun conversation during the ride. I left a good tip for the great service. Will definitely use again.

Communication errors need to be sorted out. Dispatch over the phone said Alhambra is not serviced by them. Last night we were dropped off here at our hotel in Alhambra, by one of their cabs. Called the cabbies # and he said he’d be right over. But somehow they ‘don’t service Alhambra’. Doesn’t add up. Great driver though

Tye cab showed up almost right after i called. I was happy he came to get me even though it was a short distance... The other companies didnt want to come because it was a short distance, and another guy was rude to me on the phone so i hung up on him before i could book. Horrible, horrible service from cab 1100. Refused to let us pay with a card. Only when we arrived at our destination did he very rudely inform us of a minimum for credit cards. There was no sign posted anywhere outside or inside of the cab about a minimum amount for credit cards.

Despatchers are rude and lie when drivers are late. Repeatedly told me that the car would be there in 5-6 minutes every time I called back. This has happened more than once.. Drivers leave if you don't appear within 5 minutes despite my being a repeat customer.
