Excellent customer service! Worth the price. No doubt. Security is always helpful, prompt and I feel safe. The guards are a team of capable, honest characters who watch carefully AND do a really good job of knowing how to kindly treat customers. I'm guessing that the owner cares... I notice Everyone working consistently express a positive and encouraging attitude. It is the smile that greets and reminds me to relax... I know it sounds cheesy, however it simply restores my optimism. (which definitely makes going to storage less of a chore and more of an opportunity) Some how, there's extra time to enjoy some fresh air with a little elbow room... Take in the beautiful views of the city and remember how fortunate we are. Most of us, we're working intensely so that we may enjoy living in a crazy crowded expensive city... Some of us are blessed with a peaceful place - and a little safe space for our treasures of today... Enjoy the seagulls as they chatter dancing above truly a treasure of an island; where teams of experts keep it all secured. Ok, it's first impression visually is likely to feel a little rough around the edges. Accept that the whole island feels that way due to all the changes underway, and that other to inspire you... Island Park Storage it's worth the second look. It isn't the newest or the fanciest... Does your ego need the fanciest? Or do you remember that because lives are busy, we need more space? It seems mostly we are renting to postpone a chore of priorities. Or maybe you not sure... Be sure if one thing, the guys at Island Park are the best and most experienced in SF. Many thanks! I sincerely appreciate being able to safely and effortlessly arrive and depart as needed... It has been amazing that whenever we needed something, Island Park Storage already has it Right.

Update: The company failed to offer any evidence that would help me figure out what had happened or identify when the theft took place. Oddly enough, they even said that their cameras were missing footage and that the my unit was not in the camera's view. The owners offered a small amount of compensation that was insultingly inadequate. DO NOT rent a unit from Island Park Storage. I rented a unit for 4 months. I had pleasant experiences with the staff; however, when I went to move out of my unit I arrived to find that the lock had fallen off of my unit so that my unit was open for who knows how long. The lock I bought was still locked and secured to the door but the door lock was hanging off my unit's door. I'm still not sure what all was taken...so far I'm calculating several hundred dollars worth of my belongings were stolen but the sentimental value of what is gone is immeasurable. I'm really disappointed. They claim to have 24 hour security but how come the lock was not repaired on my unit sooner?

Island Park Storage auctioned off all of my childhood belongings WITHOUT EVER CONTACTING ME. The unit I was renting for about 5 years was filled with all my family photos, a toy box my Dad made for me when I was 5. Mind you, I’m 41 now. My original Michael Jackson doll I played with from 1985 was in there. Trophies I won as a kid. Original and rare Madonna albums that I loved. All of my family home movies. My original Barbies I played with as a girl. All auctioned off and I was NEVER CONTACTED. Childhood posters, original autographs.... All of my childhood memories were auctioned off. I called them and they were so rude and insensitive. Said they called me but AT&T has no record of calls from them. I have no emails from them. I am so devastated. All priceless childhood items and they are gone. I just can’t believe it. I’ve had problems with them over the years but never thought they’d auction my childhood off. So many other rental places in the Bay Area. Don’t take risks with these idiots.

Nothing but a superior experience here. I thoroughly vetted all the local storage facilities and selected this one based on the reviews. I ended up leaving my things in storage for almost 4 years (oops, thanks covid) and moved across country. I thought for sure I would come back to some sort of water damage or mouse situation. When I finally returned to get my things, it was in pristine shape, and all my things were completely fine. These guys are very easy to work with. I even had them open up my container once to check for damage and they helped me out and took photos and locked it back up. I highly recommend them. I worked with Mike. I also had U-box delivered to load my things (which is a U-Haul company) and Mike was extremely accommodating. Overall really great people there.

What can I say, they tell you what they deliver and then that's exactly what they deliver! I got my unit at the price I was quoted, straight-up total. No upsell, no unavailability. They have late night access, much later than most places and upon rental dude told me if the gate was locked to just call and one of their 3 on-call staff partners would come and allow access up until 2am.I I tried it out and sure enough he was there in like 20 seconds! I do however think it would be nice if they had a restroom for their customers. The YMCA has been nice enough to let me use theirs when they're open so that helps. Oh one more thing, if a white dude tells you to get in his truck so he can show you around the property, it's okay... He's not the Killer! Living proof=)

Long time ago,I had to leave my belongings for over a 5 year period.I left them with the Island Park Storage.Not only my belongings were all there, 5 years later ,but they also were in an excellent condition. A place itself is clean,with a friendly staff. Abudance of cameras for security,and most importantly,the place itself is not humid;due to good air conditioning systems in place.If you lived in San Francisco(or any other by the ocean place)you know how important this is- humidity equalls mold. If you are looking for a place to leave your stuff for some period,I'd suggest you give this one a try.

Love this place! Boy am I glad I found it. To start off the prices are pretty reasonable for the bay area so thats a plus, and hey get your first month for free!! Cant beat that. Staff is really friendly and ive never had a poor experience here. Obviously lock your unit and be responsible but its a great spot. Its self service so you can access your unit 24/7 which was essential to my needs. I just want to come and go at any time. Highly recommended try it out if you are close enough to the location youll love it too.

So I had went up to San Francisco to officially move my wife down here to San Diego but before I had done that we had to store her furniture/clothing etc! We googled storage places and found a bunch of different ones. It settled on Island Park Storage. Couldn’t have scored a better secure place than this one. Very reasonable parking rates, exceptionally helpful staff. I parked here for a while and it was great! When it was time to move I rented a trailer for hauling. A few very kind things the nice folks at island park did: 1. Advised me on towing 2. Helped me get the right hitch on 3. went out of their way to work out a tow pin for me when i realized my pin was missing I owe these guys big for their help, thank you so much and for being clutch in a stressful situation!

I was helping my friend moved out and she needed a place to store some of her stuff. We found Island Park Storage and decided to check it out. We came in and the clerk was very helpful. She told us about things we needed to know. The whole process was easy, smooth and professional. My friend liked the place because it was clean, secure, big enough to store he stuff, in good shape and close to her work (which was a plus). I recommend this place !

Had a storage there for 6 months and I won't went to the place twice. Was a little late on my bill, but before ten days apparently was a grave period. Even got my deposit back today. Good prices and easy to find. Just needs to hire someone else so the guy at the desk doesn't have a coronary. When he leaves to go show a client their new spot, both phones ring, almost on cue. The business and his cell I can only gather, are the ones ringing.

Had to get a last minute storage for all the items that didn’t fit into my new apartment and this was the perfect place! It’s very clean and in a convenient spot close to my new apartment. They gave me a good deal and I feel good knowing my belongings are in a safe place! The workers were very nice and accommodating. The place is also very accessible to all. When we were moving from LA to SF we had a’lot of extra furniture and boxes. We needed a storage company that would have quick availability. And the service I got from this company was excellent. The rates were good and the hours were convenient for us to access. The lady who helped us explained everything clearly and was super friendly. Island park storage was the most convenient storage place I was able to find in the area. The storage rooms are very spacious and you get what you pay for. The facility was recommended bye one of our family friends. Our family used the services when we had to shift houses. Recommend the facility and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. So glad I found them!!! You can't beat these prices in the bay area. I was shopping around for like a 20ft storage container but when I found out the prices for the 40ft containers I got that lol. First month free is a nice bonus. I also love that this is "self" storage, I like to be able to access my shipping container storage 24/7.

I rented easily the storage online. Then I called for a couple of questions I had. They answered the phone fast and took the time to answer all of my questions! The storage is big and clean. I left my stuff there 2 months and when I came back to pick them up everything was fine and again with a fast process. I recommend

Super cheap storage place! I needed to store a few boxes due to a recent move and they were the cheapest in the area. They were very accommodating with great customer service that answered any questions you have. Located in a safe neighborhood and area as well. They have both short term and long term storage!

My aunt recently moved to this area and had too much stuff that didn't really fit in her new 1 bedroom 1 bath house. We searched everywhere for a storage unit to accommodate her budget and all the others were too much for her. This one was perfect and the staff was very helpful and polite.
