I’ve been visiting this nail salon for about a year now since relocating to Charlotte, and I initially found it because it is walking distance from my home. Over the past year I’ve paid a pretty penny to receive mediocre service and poor quality just for the sake of convenience, but after a recent experience there I decided that I can no longer spend my hard earned money at this establishment. Atmosphere/cleanliness: The shop is dirty. The end. When you go in pay attention to the big and small details. Look at the light fixtures that appear to never have been dusted. The chairs that need a deep cleaning, the trash cans that are filthy on the outside, and the floors that always look like they need a deep scrub. Quality assurance: I’ve been disappointed with the outcome of my nails more times than I’m proud to admit. Most of the nail techs do not know how to polish nails so they will miss/not polish the sides and corners of your nails. It’s so noticeable and I’ve had to ask them to correct that error many times. As for pedicures, despite purchasing the high end pedi with callus removal, parafin wax, etc., they don’t even try to scrub your feet leaving them similar to the appearance they were when you came and my feet always look incredibly dry by that night. You can’t even tell I’ve had a pedicure which is a bummer. I also used to get gel on my nails, but it would only last a week so I stopped adding gel to my service. Service: Initially the level of service was decent, but in the last several months I’ve experienced rudeness from the reception for no apparent reason, the staff talk about their customers among themselves, and it is just an overall uncomfortable feeling. The staff don’t even appear to like each other. Despite this all I tip 20% every time because it’s the right thing to do. In summary, I’ve finally decided that I can no longer spend my money here for sub-par service and quality simply out of convenience. Yesterday I decided to visit a different nail salon in NoDa, and although I had to drive there it was only about 7 minutes by car from Uptown and the service blew me away from the moment I walked in the door. My pedicure looks so good, feet are still soft today, unlimited champagne was had, massage chairs, the works, and the price was 30% less than I pay at J’Adore. I event got a hot stone massage and paid less. As I read the reviews, I realized that most of the reviews are from 3 years ago which is why the higher rating is deceptive. I was told that they changed ownership so maybe that’s when it went down? If you visit J’Adore, know that you are doing so at your own risk and only to pay top dollar for a low-level experience.

I really love this nail salon. It has been my go-to for about 3+ years now and i’m never disappointed with the service. They are kind and make you feel comfortable. I’ve also received service from just about every tech here and I always leave super happy with the results. I’m usually the type to request a certain person, but if they are busy I trust that any one of the next available techs will do a good job. Though I feel comfortable having anyone at Jadore do my nails/toes, I am also willing to wait for service from Michelle, Luke, or Q. They are all amazing. Michelle is the only person (from anywhere) I trust waxing my eyebrows and Q is great on nails and toes! The first time I had Luke I was so impressed with his attention to detail on my nails I had to request him again and again. He takes his time, but isn’t too slow, and my nails have always turned out with perfect shape and design exactly as I wanted. Both Michelle and Luke have also stayed way after hours on separate occasions finishing my nails and/or toes (when I show up late). Overall pleased with this place. Today was my first time there. I do appreciate that there is a free parking garage behind the space unlike another uptown salon I’ve been to where there is never on street parking and the garages are a fortune. I was excited to see all of their color options only to quickly realize they’re out of many of them. One of the technicians was nice enough to go through their colors and find me something close. They were also out of the tea I asked for but was happy that they even offer hot drinks, bonus points that some of them are organic. At first my technician didn’t make all my lengths equal when filing but after I said something she fixed them. I was nervous with how many coats of SNS she used that it would be too thick and artificial looking but the filing took care of that. I would come back again assuming my nails last 3+ weeks.

Pros: Complimentary drinks. Staff was nice. Foot massage included in pedicure was awesome. Cons: Salon looks better in pics. Seating I’m sure has definitely seen better days. Could use some minor updates to improve look (even fresh paint would help). Overall dingy appearance. Next …it was awkward trying to sit for pedicure …they use these big square bowls (they are nice … that’s not the problem) but they are in front of oversized highback chairs and you have to climb over the bowl partially to enter and exit seat. There’s no side arm rest that lifts for easier movement in and out of chair. Lastly …tech that did my pedicure seemed to be trying to skip steps (ie cuticle trim/removal and even basic filing/shaping). I had to ask her politely to address issues as she was ready to paint and had not done a thorough job. Personally would not return

Alright, I am updating my review after having gone here for a couple of years now. They’ve gotten much better about their appointments than when I first started coming here, and Michelle is absolutely one of the best there is (not just in the store, but probably in the Charlotte area). She is incredibly meticulous and has done a great job every time I’ve gotten my nails done. She’s highly sought after by many clients. If you’re a walk in, you can forget about her having any availability, so make sure you snag an appointment with her. You won’t regret it. Q, Rose, and July (pronounced Julie) are also good techs as well. The salon has a lovely atmosphere, and you receive a free beverage with your service. A little pricier than some other salons, but absolutely worth the price, in my opinion.

My experience was wonderful- everyone was welcoming and it seemed most customers were regulars. I had hoped to return again but it has been less than 3 days and my nail is broken They were so beautiful and a lot more $ than what I usually pay for dip. Really really sad I got my nails done for two events within the next two weeks and this barely made it through the first. I paid $150+ (including tip) for dip powder nails and gel pedicure. Really really upset because I can’t get it fixed now that I’m not in Charlotte. $150 down the drain for nothing

J'Adore Nail Boutique I will definitely visit again. They checked us in and took us to a luxury pedicure chair a minute after arriving there. It was my fiance's first time getting a pedicure and he loved it. They offered him wine and his pedicure was gentle and soothing. I loved the downtown location as well. I had to pay $20 to park across the street for only an hour and a half because it's in the downtown area. We will definitely revisit this nail boutique if we are in Charlotte again.

This salon looked beautiful in the pictures so I figured I’d give them a try since I’m new to the city. I was not impressed by the staff or the manicure I paid for. I got my nails dipped and they cracked within a day. I have never had that happen at any other salon before. The staff did not greet anyone when they walked in and I witnessed multiple clients standing around confused as to where to sit or wait to be seen. They could definitely make it a friendlier environment.

This nail salon is definitely the definition of "It Girl". It's very clean and a very cute boutique salon. When my niece and I arrived the wait was 15-20 minutes and it wasn't even that long. The receptionist was very nice and super helpful with checking in. The salon smells AMAZING!! It gives relaxation and stress free. The service is definitely top notch and they have definitely earned two more customers to their guest list. I love absolutely love this place .

ive been going here for 3 years. The last 3 times ive been here the service has been terrible. A month ago, I witnessed an altercation with a customer who was completely ignored and disrespected by the staff. Today I walked in and my feet looked better when I arrived. The quality and service of this place is going down so sad to see it. My pinky toe is literally gone like be so fr LMAOOO. #ifyouknowabettersalonlmk

1st visit and I will DEFINITELY be back in 2 weeks to see Michelle again! She was very pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. She took the time to make sure she understood what I wanted (had a bad dip job at a different location in SC) and the end result was EXACTLY what I was hoping for! Only reason I gave 4 stars was bc I wasn’t offered tea or wine like other customers

J’Adore is pretty consistent with the jobs they do. I always get a dip manicure and I usually have a good experience! I would give 4.5 stars if I could because out of the 10 or so times I’ve been, about 2 nail jobs have been subpar (not the experience itself, but the nail tech). Overall, I will love this place and the customer service I receive when I’m there.

This one younger girl she was very rude , all though the service as for the wine for my aunt was very thoughtful. But she kept getting up going in the back to do other things instead of being focused on her customer & she got upset because my aunt asked if she needed help because she was taking long periods of time. Will never be back again

The atmosphere is great. Staff was very friendly. Buuut I just got gel nails and I have never had my nails be so bad after a manicure! (After paint was removed.. only lasting a week.) My nails are brittle, completely wrecked. Paint is into the grooves of my nails and won’t come out. Makes me so sad I loved having them done.

My favorite nail place ever (and I live in Raleigh!). Amazingly friendly and attentive staff, beautifully decorated, and they really do an outstanding job with their nail services. Very clean, as well. Includes a complimentary drink (wine, coffee, tea). Can’t wait to come back during my next visit to Charlotte!

The manicurist was excellent, professional and sift spoken. The nail salon is a comfortable environment. They offer wine, beer, coffee, tea, sparkling water,. It's just a really nice, pleasant atmosphere. I wish they had one like it in my town. I think that I'm going to go back tomorrow to get a pedicure.

These are absolutely the cutest and the sale came out perfect I love love love them! Great atmosphere and wonderful people work here. 1 week update: these nails crack, eventually they will have small cracks in the nail and the break easily from being done thinly. I had this issue as well as a friend.☹️

The atmosphere was okay, however after paying $123 for a pedicure and dip for my nails. I didn't expect it to start cracking and chipping after less than 1 week. Definitely not happy, they looked okay when I was leaving, but after 3 days nails started stripping, cracking and chipping.

I usually have a pleasant experience but this one wasn’t relaxing at all. The lady doing the pedicure was rough and they said they could perform a service then said they couldn’t. Don’t know what was going on this time around. Disappointed as customer service wasn’t very good.

I missed my appointment at J'Adore Nail Boutique and I was attending a wedding the following weekend. I called and took a shot at seeing if they had any cancellations. Of course not. I was so lucky to get a call back two days before the wedding and rushed right over.

I had been feeling down when my girls dragged me out of my place and uptown to J'Adore Nail Boutique. The staff were expecting us and were all set up for mani-pedi. We had an amazing day and I left feeling better than I had in months! Thanks, J'Adore Staff.

My niece is allergic to everything. We had a wonderful experience at J'Adore Nail Boutique. The products that are used at their beautiful place are eco-friendly and my niece was able to have her mani-pedi safely, comfortably, and beautifully.

When you walk through the door at J'Adore Nail Boutique see the attention to detail immediately. That attention to detail does not end there. The magnificent job they did on my nails was beautiful and lasted much longer than expected.

Absolutely love this place! They're an organic and semi chemical free nail salon; which made it smell good and not like acrylic fumes. Highly recommend! Friendly staff, free beverage, good prices. Will he coming back soon!

They must be among the greatest manicure salons because the rest of Charlotte is starting to take notice of their boutique! J'Adore Nails has generally never disappointed me. When I leave, I always look and feel better.

Evert time I get my mani or pedi, I'm never disappointed. Coming from NJ, I had a hard time finding what I was used to. I've found it. And very clean.
