My husband and I have dined here twice together now as we moved downtown recently. The service was great from the time we walked in to the time we walked out and decently priced ($87 one bill for mains and drinks and $108 for the other as we had an apiterzier, mains, dessert and drinks). The 1st time Bana was our waitress and the 2nd time Tennille. On busy nights both of them were always on top of their tables making sure everyone had been looked after and water was topped up. Both friendly and knew their menus and things to request! Both an asset to the business! The food was amazing and presented well! Between both times we tried the sliders, butcher sandwich, crabcakes and chocolate cake, mediterannean bowl and blackens chicken were all amazing as well as the recommended cocktails and drinks! The atmosphere was warm and cozy and a gave a nice warm winter wood vibe with a cool wood structure of logs hanging from the roof! Different areas to dine as you can sit in a booth, tables or over in the bar area with high tables! You can also look into the big open kitchen. Definitely recommend to try it out!

Food was amazing, unfortunately with poor service I don’t think we will recommend or come back again. We came to meet up with some friends, who are executive managers of high end brands and retail boutique. It was kind of embarrassing that we even have to wait for glass of water, seemed the server forgot. We even saw her having her meal at one of the corner of restaurant while we were waiting for water. The funny thing, when our glass drink are empty, server just took it and never ask if we want to have one more glass or something else. I guess Joey doesn’t need business. We planned to have couple of drinks but since she didn’t ask, we think we better bring business to other place. When we asked for the bill, it mixed up twice. At the end we just leave and did e transfer among ourself to fix the bill. Seemed like Joey has given up, service very poor

JOEY Eau Claire restaurant is an exceptional dining experience in Calgary. From the moment you walk in, everything impresses. Their cocktails are a must-try, with flavors that are insanely delicious and perfectly crafted. The steak is cooked to perfection, but the real surprise is the fried mashed potatoes – a unique, crispy, and utterly delicious side dish. The chicken parmesan, accompanied by fresh-made pasta, is delightful. However, the desserts steal the show. The cheesecake is heavenly, the chocolate lava cake is like a dream, and the apple pie holds its own too. The waitress was kind, friendly, and extremely helpful in making selections. This place is a definite must-visit for anyone who loves great food, and I'm already looking forward to going back!

I don’t usually leave the review often but I got the worse service ever from this restaurant yesterday. Our waitress was very neglectful on our table. I’d get it if it was super busy but it really wasn’t. She barely checked on us, kept saying she’d refill our water but never came back, my friend actually ordered another drink and she never showed up. We had to ask another server to grab us a dessert menu because she barely came to our table. The worst part was we asked for our bill, she grabbed it after few minutes, then when we tried to pay she was like sorry give me a sec and went to the other table and take their bill first. Fine, maybe they asked their bill before us but why couldn’t she come to our table right after not serving drinks or taking orders from other tables? The food was amazing but we were very disappointed with her service.

I recently dined at Joey restaurant in Calgary, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in as a walk-in table of 6 with luggage from the airport, we were pleasantly surprised by the accommodating attitude of the staff. Jamie, our waitress, deserves special recognition for her outstanding service. She was not only attentive but also went above and beyond to make our meal enjoyable. The food was delicious, and the wine selection complemented our meal perfectly. However, what truly stood out was the impeccable service provided by Jamie. Her attention to detail and friendly demeanor enhanced our dining experience. I would highly recommend Joey restaurant in Calgary, not only for its great food and wine but also for the fantastic service, especially from Jamie. We had simply an amazing experience! The food was very good and was presented beautifully. We ordered steak and sushi, steak and ravioli for mains and loved both! The yellowfin tuna salad was also so fresh and beautifully plated. The chocolate molten lava cake was also very very tasty! Our server Kaylee and the team leader Gabby as well as the rest of the service that evening were all very friendly and attentive. This location has a nice patio to enjoy warm summer days. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone as it is also right next to the park where you can take a walk after a great dinner.

It’s a nice spot in Eau Claire. We had the good experience at this restaurant. The waitresses were super nice. We got some sparkling wine when we came in. Of course, adding a lot of points. The inside design is very cool. We were curious about the building and why the inside looked like this. Apparently it’s just for the looking. Anyway, the food is very new Canadian style. Multi culture cuisines mixed. The hummus you have to try. It’s gorgeous! The rice bowls are good. And we also had the steak with ravioli. But it’s too tiny tbh even we ordered 7oz size. Based on the price, I would love to have the bowls or burgers. So if you have a big stomach or feel hungry, double confirm with your waitress if it’s enough

We stayed at Sheraton Eau Claire across the street from Joey. We love this location and the space. We got seated almost right away despite the busy lunch rush. Quick and very friendly service (perfect for us with 2 young kids). As with any Joey, there is a great variety of food options for everyone. We have been to many Joey locations and the food quality is always consistent. What sets this location apart is that the staff and manager (Erykah) are very friendly and made us feel extremely welcomed.

Love, love, love the patio here! The glass walls around the patio keep the wind out and the overhead industrial heaters keep you warm on a cool evening. The scenery around the restaurant is great too, with mostly pedestrian traffic keeping noise to a minimum. The Yellow Fin Tuna Salad is amazing here and is always presented in a gorgeous way. The personal sized apple pie is amazing here too! It is great to come with friends and try various appetizers. The staff here are always friendly and professional. They know the menu backwards and forwards so if you have any allergies you can be confident that they will know what you can and cannot eat. After eating here you can take a nkce stroll along the river.

Sam was my server and he was phenomenal as a person completely new to Canada and Calgary he was able to help not only suggest amazing drinks and food that paired perfectly. He also served as the best travel agent with a multitude of other fun locations to visit while I have my stay here. Sam will be the reason why I would come back to this restaurant. I had ordered a sushi cone, corn roasted guacamole, Japanese gyoza, and, the traditional burger. Paired with sangria and a tequila old fashioned. Yes all with the help of Sam!

The food was great. I ordered the Spaghetti Pomodoro, it was very tasty! I also had the latte with oat milk (honestly, it was a meh. Maybe because James didn't make it) The overall experience was great because of our waitress Kristina. I was with some girlfriends and it felt like she was part of our little group. Charged for Filet Minion, served a tough, grisly peice of ???. A crime to charge $50 to $60/meal and get this dissipointing steak. Check the pic out. We brought them home ( both my wife & and I ordered it. Hers was the Joey's Classic, mine, the steak with peppercorn sauce) and cut them into strips to see why they were so tough! My steak is on the right side. Since when does the filet have a fat cap? My wife's on the right. Both ordered medium!!!!! Both full of gristle. Just no excuse for such a bait and switch!

The staff are all so friendly, the food is delicious and the vibes are immaculate! ✨ Our server Kristina went above and beyond to make our dining experience spectacular! We loved our visit to JOEY this evening. It came highly recommended from the hotel staff nearby and I can see why. Great food and atmosphere. Cool indoor/outdoor seating. But most importantly the staff here is amazing. The manager Jaden was terrific and really sets the tone for everyone else with her energy and enthusiasm. We sat in the bar area and Katie and Koveh served us and both were also great. We were just really impressed by how well everyone on the staff really helped each other out too. Awesome patio to have a Sunday afternoon lunch! We enjoyed a number of apples, sliders, yam fries, gyoza and topped it off with a delicious hot melted chocolate volcano dessert. Finally got the chance to go eat and spend time at Joey Eau Claire. I was taken back by how well the staff greeted me and my guest and asked where we would love to sit. We ended up outside on the patios which only brought another joy to our Joey experience. The food was amazing and the drinks to top it off. Great location with paths and parking within walking distance. Be sure to check them out thank you Joey I’ll be back soon.

The management team with a special shout out to Alexa and gabby and Tatum and Erica are just flat out the best in town . Staff all amazing and also a shout out to Austin behind the bar. Sam (Samuel) is the best server I have ever had. He offered another cake after my molten lava cake sank when taken out of the oven. Then, he asked if I wanted donuts instead of having 2 chocolate cakes. What a great, kind-hearted person.

The ravioli was very nice. The portion for the Szechuan chicken lettuce wraps was smaller compared to cactus club. The mango daiguiri is really tasty and sweet. We also tried the molten chocolate cake which was delicious
