I bought in May 18/2023 furniture for almost $4000.00 what was ok but now comes the surprise. When there delivered the furniture on May 19/2023 only 1 person came with all the furniture I had to help unload and bring in the apartment but before I was also charged $420.00 for delivery and put couch and bed together and this had to be cash he didn’t want to put on the invoice. On top the table had scratches the chairs white paint on the bed frame black stains The answer from them was it was like that already. Finally he forgot to bring stuff and I had to go back and pick up my self today what is ridiculous. This company use to be good many years ago not anymore. I definitely won’t go back there anymore and I will report them also to the Better Business Bureau. When I told them I would do that there didn’t seem to care at all. Be very very careful should you shop there…. That how was delivered White paint stain on the chair Black grease stain on the headboard of the bed and on the left side of the bed Scratch on the table…….. For that delivery you charged $420.00 Half of the stuff is damaged You call this customer service? So today June 5/2023 there changed the table top and 1 chair. Thank you for that. There said there won’t replace the head board from the bed and side board from the bed reason it was a floor model just to remind you the table was also a floor model it doesn’t make sense you changed the table and chair but you not willing to replace the other furniture what is damaged. It doesn’t matter all furniture should not be damaged when delivered. Again it’s nothing but a hassle with them there just looking for excuses and at the end it’s your fault. I definitely won’t go there anymore it was the worst experience and I’m left with damage furniture. That store is definitely not recommendable as there don’t care PS: The only thing which was replaced is the Table top and one chair The other stuff there still refuse to replace even it’s there fault There have no right to deliver damaged furniture and then refuse to replace……

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! We purchased a few pieces of furniture from this store. The first experience we had at this furniture store was with a table that we bought. We came back to J & R furniture two weeks later and found a different table at his store that suited our house better. Bob switched the paperwork and made sure that we got the table that we like better. I don't know any furniture Representatives that would pull strings like that for a client especially after you already made a decision. Our second experience with J&R furniture was an even better one. We went in and explained to him that we have a big family and needed a big couch. He showed us one couch and that was the one we ended up buying. He HOOKED it up and gave it to us ALL taxes in, and also waived the delivery fee. The couches were coming from Seattle, so we were expecting them to take about two weeks or more but they ended up coming super early which was amazing because we had a party that we were planning and needed those couches to come really fast. Bob called us right as the couches arrived to his warehouse, he then had them shipped to our house within 48 hours. I don't think you can get any better service than that. Bob and his staff are super welcoming and polite. I always recommend This store to anyone I know. When you stop into the store make sure you take a minute to look at their mosaic art !

I had been to 9 or 10 furniture stores over a 2 month period looking for a quality love seat that would fit well in my small studio apt. I could find the right size but the quality was poor for the price asked, or the quality was there but the price was far too high for me. I found one that was perfect except it was a darker shade than I really wanted. I was about to settle for it until I was told it would take 3 to 4 months to arrive. After an exhaustive search I went out of my area and found the perfect colour, style, quality and price at JR Furniture on Grandview Hwy. Salesman Raj was busy with another couple but saw that I was needing assistance and took a quick moment to get the managers attention for me. Bob answered my questions... and in just a few minutes we were at the counter writing up my purchase. Three days later my loveseat was delivered by two pleasant young men who brought it into my apartment and placed it where I wanted it. I will definitely recommend you to friends and family. Further... You will be the first place I go in the future for any additional furnishings I may need. Thank you JR Furniture and staff for a pleasant purchasing experience.

My Mother and I attended this store to look for a couch. We were greeted upon arrival and let them know we were only looking. We were left to look and when needing help the sales person was close by. The store was very clean, well designed and had a good variety of furniture in an array of prices. We wanted to compare furniture and prices with The Brick next door and said so before we left. The sales person did not pressure us in anyway to stay or buy. I really appreciated this. We were not impressed with the service or quality of the store next door so returned to JR Furniture. We put the sales person through his paces and never once saw any attitude, just a nice person willing to help. My Mother finally picked a couch and we asked for a better deal on the couch as she is a low income senior. We were successful even though the couch was already on sale. We really enjoyed our experience there and they called my Mom after the delivery and set up of her product to make sure she was totally satisfied and she is. So am I. As I am eventually needing a new couch I will be looking at JR Furniture as a viable store to shop at

I love my new sofa and I had a great experience with my service at JR Furniture! Bob was fantastic- very knowledgeable and helpful. I had been to six furniture stores before deciding to purchase my couch at JR and one of the main reasons was that every floor model was in stock and could be delivered within a few days. There are so many supply issues at the moment which means that my other choices wouldn’t be available for weeks or months, if at all. I had a small hiccup with my purchase in that the sofa I chose was too large and the delivery guys couldn’t get it into my apartment. I appreciated how the situation was handled and I was able to go into the store and select from a few other options. Bob was amazing through the whole process and my new sofa was delivered 3 days later. It looks great, high quality and well made. The delivery guys were on time, quick to set it up and polite. I highly recommend Bob and his team at JR!

LOVE LOVE LOVE ❤ ❤❤ THIS BEDFRAME!!! It took about 2 months for it to come, not that bad considering covid has put a huge delay on things. I have a queen size, and I got a thin box spring with it and the price is reasonable considering the quality.This has changed my sleep instantly! I feel like a queen in it and I can feel the support from the boxspring, gives firmness to my mattress but not too firm. I can't wait to climb into bed and I love making my bed now. We bought 2 sofas and coffee tables from JR Furniture, and then I bought this bedframe because I liked their selections and flexibility. Bob the manager there followed up after I received my bedframe to make sure everything was good. I feel valued there as a customer compared to other places I've been to. Prices are not out of this world either. Definitely give them a go.

We have been searching for a Pull-Up Sofa-Bed to replace our existing sofa. And honestly we have searched almost all the websites which cater to Vancouver, and also visited almost all furniture stores in Vancouver, Surrey and Abbotsford. We only found the usual hard and uncomfortable sofa-beds. We walked into JR Furniture and found atleast 3 sofa-beds of our choice. Raj and Rob were very helpful. Rob has also given us a special Manager Price on the Sofa we liked. Delivery was cheap within Vancouver, and it also included setup. A perfect time to stop by and check out JR Furniture. I recently look around most of the furniture stores, many of them are out of stock and have to wait at lest 12 to 18 weeks at least unfortunately. There is an exception, I am surprised that JR furniture store did have stock for the furniture I wanted. In addition, the company offer me a Great Great Price for the items I bought and deliver to my new home just a week after I bought the items. One special thing I do liked is that the salesman will give me a call to follow up. I am impressed for their after sales service.

I bought a couch from this company last month. The salesperson that assisted me was attentive and patient ( I wish I could remember his name). Anyway, I like the fact that this salesperson was very good at answering my questions without pressuring me to buy. His manager Bob was professional as well and fair with the pricing. In addition, when Bob booked the time that would be convenient for me for the delivery, they sure delivered on time and the gentlemen movers were courteous and quick. Based on this experience, I will recommend this company.

By far the best experience we have ever had. From the moment we walked in the door, Bob was super accommodating. Not only did we get a great deal on our sectional, but it came with great customer service. Our furniture was delivered on time as promised, and the delivery men were super professional and helpful. We purchased a sectional sofa at this location almost a month ago. It was an unplanned one, my wife and I just got across with this elegant looking sofa that catches our attention while looking into the store. Bob the Sales person who attended to us, is a very accommodating and nice gentleman. The sofa was delivered to our place and assembled in a very professional way, according to our agreed delivery and assembly fee, and to our best satisfaction. it's a nice place to look around. the place doesn't have much space but easy enough to maneuver and roam around. there were other staff not doing anything and just on their phones. they could just hide what they are doing instead of just not noticing us coming in through the door. there was an old guy that was really helpful to us and was eager to get us whatever we needed. we were looking for a king bed pull up storage, but they don't have the option. i would probably come back here again to see what's new.

Five stars for sale honesty - I haven’t actually been into this location but I was walking past a while ago - saw this very honest Black Friday sale sign and had to get a picture! **It’s a few years old - just stumbled across this photo in my phone album and had to share this** Prices must be so low normally that further discount is just a no go, perhaps??! **edit in reply to owner’s comment: yes, I took this photos years ago..I’m aware your store has great prices as it is. I was looking everywhere for a sofa bed and I couldn't find one that met my specs until I wandered in JR furniture one snowy evening. Bob was incredibly helpful in explaining sofa bed options and all things sofa beds to me. He was also great helping me with the payment procedure and delivery. He even called to follow up the day after delivery. If I could give more than five stars then I would. How helpful is a call afterwards to make sure that all is good and that I am happy with my purchase?

We shopped around for our sectional sofa at many places including the Brick and Leon’s. J.R Furniture had the best price and quality. Our sales associate, Ram, showed us exactly what we were looking for and left us to decide, no pressure but available with a tape measure to help us. I needed a loveseat and the salesman walked me around the entire store and showed me everything he had. He knew his entire stock and all available colours, then showed me the sale items, and then never pushed and just let me wander. Everything is laid out well and there is a really great variety of styles not just the square box contemporary designs. Altogether JR made it easy to shop there and I found what I needed in my price range and had it delivered fast and easy !

Absolutely wonderful experience! My friend and I walked in and were greeted by a nice gentleman. I told him what I wanted, and he showed me exactly that in the style and fabric I was looking for. As we discussed my needs another fellow, Bob Singh, helped answer my questions. I was able to buy what I wanted for the price I wanted to pay. The absolute best part was they had what I wanted in stock, no 3 week wait, and it was delivered and assembled 2 days later! ❤️

Pretty happy with my experience with JR. They were willing to wait 2 weeks for my delivery so I can sort things out before getting my new couch. The delivery guys came right on time and took care of everything for me, including moving out my old heavy couch. Some of the negative reviews scared me but I am satisfied and happy with the support received from Bob. The couch itself is great, comfortable and we can't stop sitting on it.

This place amazing. Great deals friendly staff. I bought a Stanton sofa set and was told it had to be ordered in and was gona take about 6-8weeks for delivery i was ok with that. Bob called me a week later and told me my sofa and chair just came in! I couldn't be more happier and satisfied with Jr and the service is incredible here. The store manager was really nice and welcoming. He helped us through every detail in exactly what we needed. We chose a nice bed set with vanity, drawers, bedside table and mattress. The delivery was very fast and we got it within 3 weeks on May 10. Setup was also fairly quick and easy. High quality wood and will last us for a long time!
