I'm not one to give poor reviews because I figure everyone has a bad day or the vibe was off and caused poor service. However, this is a new location and you would think they had it together in order to stand out. Wrong! I've been to this location on 3 separate occasions so far and it's by far the worst fast food restaurant in San Jose. My first drive-thru experience was during normal breakfast hours and I ordered a salad for lunch. I was the second car in line. They took 5 minutes to get the order out to the car in front of me. When it was my turn I figured the chicken salad would be ready since I already waited 5 minutes for the car in front of me. WRONG!!! I had to wait 7 minutes at the window! The people behind me were visibly frustrated since everyone was on their way to work. I asked the young lady if she wanted me to pull over and wait in the parking lot...she smiled and said "No sweetie, don't worry...we're cooking your chicken...it will be right out!" I waited 7 minutes! I was 3 minutes late to work. My second experience was okay. But keep in mind I drove through to pick up an iced-tea. This morning was my third and LAST time at this place. I ordered 2 jumbo jacks for a homeless couple that sits outside of my work. I wanted to surprise them since I overheard them make a comment about liking jumbo jacks. I was the only car in the drive-thru. I figured it wouldn't or shouldn't take long. Well...I was waiting at the pick-up window for 5 minutes! I was trying to show my concern by looking in the window to see what the hold up was. The employees were talking amongst each other about a visit from a district manager or something. I was visibly in a hurry. Finally I got the 2 jumbo jacks and just by feeling the bag, they weren't warm! I gave them to the couple outside my work but asked them to take a bite and tell me if they were warm and expressed my concern. They both said they were more than happy but yes, the sandwich was cold as if sitting for a while. I'm not going back to this location and wouldn't suggest anyone else go either. Sorry guys but your service is just terrible!

Food was NOT FRESH. I paid $17 dollars for old fries, a burnt breakfast jack... the egg was way overcooked ... I did not ask for well done. I also got a chicken sandwich that I paid to have have Swiss cheese, but got American cheese. I asked for tomato and got a "butt" end and the lettuce in it was so "white"... that is cancer causing ... a restaurant should only use Green ice burg lettuce or cut it up. The "white" butt end lettuce is just gross. Not to mention the chicken tasted "day old" cheese was not even melted on it! I also got an iced coffee... tasted watered down. No flavor in it or enough ice to be called "ice coffee". Tacos... made right but also just lukewarm. French fries were the warmer but mixed with older, colder fries... but asked for fresh fries. It seems that the 3 times that I have been to this Jack, I get service from jack staff that just can't get my order right or just give me old cold food and that is just sad.

I was just their 15 minutes ago, can’t believe I’m talking to the lady thru the drive thru and I’m screaming where the other side of the restaurant can hear me and still had the audacity to said she couldn’t hear me and when I can clearly hear her laughing with someone else, when I finished placing my other and got to the window and find one she’s with someone else and laughing . Give me my drinks and asks me to park in the front to wait for my food , I’m patiently waiting and see both girls coming out which I believe where their with the shift and the other girl told the other one when they saw my car about my food , and went back and got it. In order for this placed to be run you guys have to really work on your customer service as this is the reason I never come to this place as etheir they don’t have something in the menu or their employees don’t know what they are doing .

When approaching to the intercom to take my order the cashier allways says if i can wait a few minutes before taking my order 3or4 minutes goes by then they take my order, when i approach to the window there's nobody there to collect my money for another minute or 2 when they collect the money i have to wait another 2 or 3 minutes before my food is ready and most of all it seems if the employees are having bad days! By the time i leave the drive thru i have to go back inside and let the cashier know my order is incorrect and then they want to debate with me saying thats what i orderd when i know what i wanted. I only come here because it's convenient for me other wise i can go to Wendy's or burger king where the service is better and faster! Jack in the box wouldn't be conciderd fast food anymore I'm best off ordering my food ahead of time over the phone!

Just had the worst customer experience of my life. They got the order wrong and I didn't notice till I got to work. Drove back and asked for a refund of the sandwich they botched and the manager took the rest of the food that was in the bag and put some money on the counter. I told her I only wanted a refund for the sandwich and she said she didn't care and that next time I needed to bring back the ENTIRE ORDER... I asked to speak to her manager and she walked away and ignored me completely. I asked for the corporate phone number and another employee gave me a business card with an email address to apply for a job at Jack in the Box. When I didn't leave the manager walked over, saw me still standing there, and walked away again. I will be coming back in to speak to her boss, and whoever at the corporate office until she loses her job.

The service of this restaurant sucks in terms of customer service. For instance, the bathroom had signs that they were out of service , yet employees were using it. While I was there , I was present and saw and heard how the manager was refusing for an elderly disabled person to use the restroom. Restrooms should be open to paying customers which this lady was. Also a cup of water was being sold for $.50 cents as kids from a nearby school were coming in. I hate to do this but people need to learn and behave better. When you work with the public, kindness is necessary. And usually after you eat , the next thing is to use the restroom which is necessary to have clean and open.

We went to this Jack in the Box last night on Monterey my wife said the restroom smell the sinks had a lot of ants the tables were not very clean some of the employees were not that friendly they were not smiling or really greeting you that much the food looked okay the service was okay the appearance outside was very good but once you go inside it's a completely different story. They were smiling and greeting each other and happy with each other but they should put more of that energy toward customers as well not just themselves because that is rude disrespectful two customers walking in when they see that it makes me feel like they are thinking oh my God more customers why don't they leave

So we went to the dive through again, we come here a lot. And 4 times in a row now they can't get my burger right. All I ask is no pickles and a double jack. Most of the time no pickles but the last 4 times I get a single burger. A few times before, pickles. My fries were cold and so was the burger this time and only one patty. I guess this one has no interest in making it better so I will go elsewhere.

First things first, today this Jack in the Box didn't serve coffee in the morning. Secondly, the employee there gave me additude when i tried to check if my order was correct by reaching into the bag. She said "everythings there", so i believed her and left. Lord behold, when i got to work, she left out a hashbrown. Its ok to have an attiude if you're having a bad day (maybe you didn't get your coffee either) but when you can't even do your job right, your attitude is the last thing you need. And lastly, it says that dine in was open on the google maps for this location...weird....thought it wasn't allowed at this time yet.

Jack in the box is okay, jack's been around for a long time. he's even changed his look, he's really cool now, just check him out on the commercials. he used to always wear suits now he's catering to the young people by wearing hip hop clothes. But of course this is a fast food place where you can grab a quick meal and eat it in the car. it's not Fine dining, so I will give them four stars, for having variety. children love this place they can order different meals like chicken, taco, burgers, milkshakes, fries and decent desserts. they're open late so that's a plus. I give them four stars because it's a drive-thru.

I went at 4 in the morning on my lunch break because the last time I went at 4:30 they said come back in 30 minutes.I was sitting at the light and they were talking to somebody in the drive thru for a while so I figured they were serving.Sure enough when I went to the drive thru they said come back in 30 minutes.I told them I was on my break and tried to call before to see when they were serving so my break isn't wasted again and nobody answered.Then I asked if there was a certain time they answer the phone and they didn't respond.I'll stick to going to Dennys.

I ordered food by The drive thru, and I ordered chicken strips and other things ,what surprised me is that they are charging the dips, the chicken strips are already very expensive and they are charge you for the dip,( dip are used to be free for chicken strips)I asked to speak to a manager o someone in charge and they failed to tell me who was in charge, Which makes me understand that they don’t have a responsible person in the store either. On 9/20/16 I was there at 6 am to eat breakfast inside. The African American manager would not open the walk in dinning. He said he was short of staff and he was working the drive through. There was only one car in the drive through. Another employee came out and said this happens almost everyday. The manager said you can sue the place if you want to. I said you customers have jobs to be at, and you need to make sure your doors are open at the scheduled time, your sign says open at 6am everyday. I walked off an will NEVER return to this Jack in the Box.

Time to reopen your bathroom to the public. I see your employees going in there so they obviously work fine. After that very sad response I am dropping my review to one star. The bathrooms were open before the pandemic. Like many restaurants they used it as an excuse to close them for no reason this is not how COVID is transmitted. As it is a sit-down restaurant it should have a bathroom where you can wash your hands this is basic sanitation. My next inquiry will be to the city as to why a restaurant that has sit down meals has not opened its bathroom.

Never really had a bad experience with jack in the box. Always been satisfied. But coming up too this one the guy got my order wrong he wasnt paying attention to our order in drive thru. My friend order a #7 plain and the guy gave it too him with everything on it n got his drink wrong. Me i asked for another 12 just the sandwhich and a medium curly fries and the guy repeated back the order and it was correct on the screen. Once we got too the window everything was all messed up. Never again will i ever go too that jack in the box ever again

The French fries were not well done as ordered. The person that I told about the issue was rude and unapologetic. This seems to be standard at this location. The tables were also dirty. By the time the fries were cooked as ordered, the jumbo jack was cold. One good thing is that this location still has self serve soda. Great variety of flavors.

The drive thru was super slow. I was probably sitting behind the one car in front of me a good 10 mins and this was at the order spot and this was before someone said what would you like to order. My turn came and before I could say anything, she asked me to wait. A few minutes went by, started taking my order, had me wait again half way through ordering, finished and I finally got to the window to pay. At that point it was pretty normal. I don't know what was going on there.

Takes the cake when I confess to customer service. I lost count of how many times they have had me pull into the parking lot to wait for my food even on the smallest of orders. The food temperature is never good. Taste like they cook everything they have in the morning and serve it all day. Seriously over this location. When I need my Jack in the box fix I head over to the one on Monterey rd.

Not on top of their game seems to be understaffed. Drive-through lines frequently extend all the way around the building into the parking lot. Long wait times usually dissuade me from coming here. This is not good for a fast food chain across the street from "The Habit Burger Grill" and one block from "Wendy's" usually I only reluctantly come to this location after other places are closed. Improve the efficiency of this location and I will change my review.

I find it beyond Ridiculous that I had to wait after a 3 hour car ride for the lady doing drive thru orders to get there order together and give it to them before she would be able to press a button to unlock your guys bathroom so I could pee and change my son,its ridiculous that only the woman's bathroom has this my husband went to the bathroom came back and waited with me before I could go.I will never come back here again.

Possibly the worst fast-food restaurant to go to: Service. Terrible Time waiting for small order. Forever Employee attitude. Horrible Mostly went early in the morning and for a new resturant it was closed for service more often than not or closed cause an employees car got broken into or cause they are short staffed but when I drive by you see 5 employees sitting in the lobby how many people does it take to make a burger

Be careful with this cook and cashier.They both don't know how to follow instructions preparing food. They both have bad attitude, bad customer service, unprofessional. The cook even cursed me out in his native language. Also, the manager pictured here is a horrible manager. Called the police on me just because I wanted a refund because they got my order wrong etc. He also lacks communication skills.

It all depends on which jack n the box I go to. But one thing for sure they never give you a receipt. I want my receipt cause I want to know what I'm paying for. You never know you could be paying for something you didn't even order.

By far the worst service ever. Not only do they take long but they always mess up my order. I've watched the people in the back that handle food without gloves and when I've asked to re do my order and put gloves on, they get upset. Your food always looks so sloppy and by far the worst service. I rather go all the way to the Santa Teresa location or Willow Glen than this location.

I had a complimentary coupon for my free meal. They told me I HAD to get it as a small even though NOWHERE on it does it say it needs to be a specific size just that I can get a free combo by giving it to the worker. The person taking my order didn’t even listen to me just kept telling me it needs to be a small.

Ive come to this Jack in the box for a while now, and everytime I go I dont know why I expect things to be different. This jack in the box has either messed up my order, forgotten to give me an item, or gave me stale day old food. Im not gonna tell you not to go here, but make sure you check your food before you leave to make sure its what you ordered.

This location should be ashamed of themselves. Between letting the homeless sit outside and steer customers away, to cold food and unfriendly service I can say this spot definitely has no intention to provide effort. I love Jack in the Box but this one needs an intervention

The sign said open from 6am until 12am. It's isn't. A female employee told me to go through the drive through even though I didn't have car. I told her that they should have sign that clarifies that. She just shrugged with and said "sorry" like nothing and walked to her car. Real great service you have in that restaurant.

Just now I left the drive thru and the older mexan lady...ugh! She tries to rush you I repeat my drink and she tells me "yes yes I got it what else" I leave and guess what? Yes my drink is missing and a hash brown well I wouldn't mind if she wasnt so pushy. Lady slow the hell down!

This Jack in the box has been renovated and has a friendly CLEAN atmosphere. Even at 10pm when all other fast food eateries were either closed or had drive through lines that circled around the block this Jack in the Box provided me with the meal I needed in just a few minutes

Purchased double jack and two tacos when I arrived home there was only the burger. Not sure why my previous review for this place is missing but this is not the first time. In the past they would ask vehicles to backup enough to not trigger their window wait time.

Dirty, dirty dirty, food was worse than any other Jack in the Box. Restroom dirty no paper to dry hands, Dining room dirty even though there were few people there. Coke Freestyle machine without at least 50% of flavors available, will not come back here again :(

This place was dirty!!! Even the bathroom which I did not take pictures of was trashed! I went in on a slow wed. Night and there Were only 3 people working. My food was terrible. The service from the employees was good and they were friendly but that was it!!!!

I come here every morning at 230 to 240 ish on the way to work My food is always fresh including the fries and wait is no longer than 3 to 4 mins on the busy days. My order is always right this store deserves recognition for their hard work.

Please I've tried messaging the corporate from jack in the box but all they said was "sorry but here's a survey"... This is not a joke! I eat here almost every week and this was in my food!! Do not eat here till they get rid of the flies!!

We order the fish cambo sourdough combo two tacos and a plain hamburger well we didnt get a plain hamburger it was regular and they didnt give us our tacos and they put onions in the sourdough they really blew it ill neverveat their again.

The services suck.. Need to up grade ur meal status. U have a meal for $4.99 with a small drinks' & also the same meal for $6.99 with a small drink? "?" If the meal is up from small to large ' why not change ur drink sizes well.

When your mornings are busy and you have to feed people; Jack in the box is the place. All kinds of items for breakfast. Plus their menu is 24 hours anyway. They pretty fast. They won't leave out half your order.

The lady working this morning at the drive thru She has no good talk with clients. Although the customer has a cupon price but also has to pay, her unpolite working attitude needs to be reviewed.

This restaurant has good jumbo Jack's. The restaurant has great amenities. Also, this restaurant is busy on the weekends. The men's restroom bathroom was broken, when I went to visit yesterday.

The food was exceptionally greasy and room temperature where it should have been hot. The staff working weren't exceptionally polite either...this is an establishment I will pass on next time.

Great customer service and great paste for ordering food and ready in only a few minutes. Never a long wait and the food is delicious nd always hot nd ready to eat.

Love the tacos just wish they were like on TV ads. Not cold, have cheese, lettuce.

Typical Jack in the Box. Wasn't enough staff for the amount of people ordering. Not to mention, a lot of homeless people coming in and out for water cups.

Hey is fast food .sometimes when you dont have the time or the home made .this is one good is good servise and fast attention and the food test good

Tried to order 2 ea double sliders, two different people could not understand what I eas ordering. Just changed my order so I could get some lunch.

Been coming here lately it's a good Jack in the box great service food is good hot coffee is really good I do recommend it I give it five stars

I asked fries for cook to order, I requested for "no re-fried fries". But the restaurant still have me re-fried fries, that is so dry!

I enter and the skilled employees automatically know what I want and are so nice ...wonder if that 2 why I go there so often.

The soda refill didn't work. And the bathroom door was James. I had to push so hard my arm hurt. BUT the staff was very nice

So place Is very clean and new workers but very nice ppl and honestly real fast and any issue gets fix fast so keep it up
