So this is my review after getting my hair done at Jallz hair&Beauty salon. A quick background story I contacted Zainab after finding her on Tiktok to have my locs budded and tidied after a consultation (which was £10) she convinced me to go for instant locking the whole entire process costed over £100. Initially I was pleased with my locs, I even purchased a few products to maintain the hair and style. Approximately a month later, I wanted to book for a retwist but I found the price expensive £70 and the date that I wanted wasn't available therefore I decided to retwist myself as I have done before in the past, mostly I do my own hair. She assured me that as my hair was locked I could wash it instantly without it unravelling, nevertheless I washed them 6 weeks later and to my surprised 3/4 of my hair unravelled. I had kept the same style for all that time and followed the moisturising instructions with the conditioner keratin spray that I got from her. Consequently I contacted her, send her pictures explaining the issue. As she was away, she told me she would be in touch when she gets back to fix it. So I retwisted the hair myself and waited almost 2 months total , never heard from her when she gets back. I finally reach out still silence after 2days so I decided to pursue this legally that's when I heard back from Zainab telling me "to do what I wanted". I proposed a partial refund as I was willing to work things out but that is the response I received. Just no professionalism whatsoever, it is a shame as I tend to support small black businesses but this was a slap in the face for me when as a customer I was being accommodating and it should have been the other way around. So I had to share my experience and it is safe to say that I WON'T BE RETURNING and I definitely DON'T RECOMMENDED!!! I thought I was in the hands of a professional loctician but clearly not! A waste of time and money.

Until I found this amazing professional hair Salon I would not trust anyone to care for my Bunga Natty locs. And care, professionalism and respect for my spiritual journey as a Rasta I received in abundance. She listened to my requests and informed me of what she was doing at each stage. The salon was extremely clean and I was welcomed warmly and made to feel comfortable. My locs have never looked this good. Strongly recommended. Bless, Kevin.

Highly recommended, very friendly and an excellent service. My teenage son had his dreadlocks retwisted and maintained. There was quite a lot of regrowth and a lot of stray hairs. Zainab worked her magic and his hair looks amazing! He loves it, I love it and we will definitely be returning for regular maintenance. Thank you very much for taking care of his hair.
