I didn’t see a sign that said no pictures which is 100% my fault but instead of talking to me privately they decided to announce it loudly to the store. It’s extremely unprofessional on their part. Not to mention their stuff isn’t even good quality. I suggest going to other stores for your anime needs or even ordering online.
Their selection on anime was so so. They didn't carry alot of the main stream anime such as Naruto, demonslayer, and one piece. Little disappointed on my visit. Alot of the shelves were either bare or empty. They have a good selection of buttons at cheap prices but that's about it. Barely blushes, tshirts, and figurines.
They have anything from Japanese household items, shampoo, face wash, masks, cups, plates to figures, pens, Marie kondo organization stuff. Most of the stuff are reasonably priced, but unfortunately my favorite mascara is way too overpriced. Amazon sells it $8 cheaper and got in Japan for less than 1/2 the price.
japanese store with figures and a lot of anime but my complaint is the claw machines. me and my bf got some coins but whenever we used the gachapon machines the claw don't even grab it at all. it just goes down and then up for 1 second. a scam and a waste of money.
Completely disappointed in the state of the store. Everything is three four times retail price of most others. There was almost nothing on the shelves. Staff are rude and don't acknowledge your existence but will follow and stare you down for possible theft.
Fantastic selection of Gundam as well as little anime trinkets (such as pins/stickers/keychains, etc.) They also have a nice little selection of Japanese products from household to kitchen to cosmetics. Pricing varies from reasonable to a little high.
Notice: The claw coin machines are complete scam and fraud. The claws do grab the items but release right before the drop slot. If I would of known I would taken a video to share so don't throw your money away. This place is completely over
Good store but hate the no photo option, if I saw something my friend might like I can't send her a photo to ask if she wants it. A good amount of items are overpriced, sometimes you can get a good deal. Honestly it's beats waiting a couple
So this place is more of anime figures that you can buy or build! Now at first I knew nothing of what would go into making one after buying the box and I need to warn you, you're looking at a hour to hour and a half of labor and some of the
A little branch of the Seiwa store in the same shopping block. They have things like plushes, figurines, office supplies, household items and cosmetics. Their selection is smaller but have some things that Fit does not. I was surprised that
Great service from the manager and cashier. Many items to choose from in the Anime area and knick-knacks to decorate your home. IF looking for favorite characters, they have many assortments and just ask the manager if you need help looking
2022 Edit: Went again recently their stock has definitely recovered somewhat. The store wasn't playing the constant notice of no pictures or video but I was there near the end of the day so they may have stopped it. Stock seemed up to date
Pretty cool place! I love the “cheaper” section of the store with the “small” gatcha items being only $5. The store has very low lighting, however, and they could do much better with organization of all their items. This causes the vibe in
This place has the best selection in regards of anime merch that you can only find in Japan. They also have household and beauty merch you can check out. Though with this pandemic happening, merchandise for both household, beauty and anime
This place is located on Dairy Ashford it is part of the Seiwa Food Market but a couple of doors down and goes by the name of JAPAN HOUSE they have lots of interesting thing's here but they are very expensive especially since ""DAISO" just
Despite all the bad reviews, they have a great selection of Anime Figures, key chains, plushies, blind boxes, dog outfits like samurai, and swords. They also have a variety of Japanese house items from pans, bowels, cups, beauty items, and
This place used to be cool but now every time I've come here the staff has griped about something. Before there was a small woman with short hair that was rude to my girlfriend about her carrying her small backpack on her back. This past
Claw machines were insanely weak. Do not try those. Items are overpriced and the store is somewhat incoherent. As a half japanese I feel as if the store is a harsh misrepresentation of japanese stores. If you are only there for the items
As a crane machine fan I was really happy when I saw they had these! Unfortunately the claws are SO WEAK they cannot carry these little toys very well you will only win if the machine has a toy very close to the drop. Very disappointing
Japan House has been a staple in this plaza with a neat ever-changing lineup of anime figures and merch/japanese household items and goods. And now it just got even better with the addition of UFO crane games. With the regular cranes (2
Been here before when I came to nearby Japanese grocery store, and checked this place out today. There are some anime- or manga-related merchandise, and some Japanese home goods and cosmetics which are Japanese products and normally you
The store does carry a few decent anime products, however most of the items sold are overpriced and lack quality. I enjoyed visiting this store often, but that has changed due to their no picture policy. I respect their policies by no
Favourite place to get anime figures in Houston! Good selection of Japanese imports and I love that they are right next to Seiwa. The prices are fair considering current import fees and regulations. Their rules are very reflective of
It’s a satisfactory place and the prices are reasonable. There’s items I’ve never seen anywhere else, which was a very nice surprise! I’ve been to many “Japanese home goods” places and thought I’d seen it all. Kind of weird rules and
the photos on here are outdated. there were empty displays and hardly any plushies.. literally just a few on a shelf in the back corner. they have staff follow you around the store which i thought was funny considering their lack of
I go here periodically and theres always something new for me and my wife that is intriguing enough for us to buy. Also, the prices here are way better than other places. This is a nice shop for those that like anime, japanese stuff
Very overpriced (some of the Gundam kits here are 2-4 times what they cost elsewhere) and selection isn't great. The no pictures/videos rule is ridiculous. It's dropped a lot in quality over the last few years.
This was honestly a horrible experience! This staff member was standing in the corner of the store (remember he's in the corner of the store) and I didn't know at the time we were supposed to take
It has a really good selection of anime figures, they have manga, keychains etc. it’s really nice I personally like it but the claw machines….. don’t even try. You’re not grabbing nothing
This store has variety of anime figures and merchandise. If you're an anime/manga fan, you're definitely at the right place. The store also has variety of household items.
I am a huge Manga and anime fan and I am so happy I get some of my merch from my fave shows in person and not have to wait for it to be shipped from online.
I only recommend visiting this place if you live nearby. If you are a bit far off and want to drive here for their anime goods DON’T. Not worth it.
Their claw machines are a big scam. They dont even grab onto the item. It just lets go of it before it even reaches the opening part.
Claw machines are a scam. All of the items fall once the claw reaches the top. It’s not worth bringing your kids here.
Pretty good selection of random Japan imports, anime figures, and Gundam builds. Beware the claw machines …
Great store it has a good selection and decent prices. I will be coming here every time I visit Houston
If you're a fan of gunpla this is a must go to place! Some of the best selection I've seen in the city!
The service and care from staff is enough to deter frequenting/returning. Here is my experience...
They have lots of anime merch, Japanese home goods, and some hair products. It’s a chill place.
First & likely last time coming here, even though I actually am quite happy with my purchase.
