We should mention here the sad story behind the park's name, commemorating the courage of a six-year-old girl, Jennifer Kateryna Koval's'kyj, RIP. According to the Governor General of Canada, "On April 2, 1996, six-year-old Jennifer Koval's'kyj died trying to stop her mentally unstable father from attacking and eventually fatally wounding her grandmother in Bowmanville, Ontario. The man had already stabbed his mother several times with a kitchen knife when Jennifer arrived on the scene. She courageously stepped between her grandmother and her knife-wielding father and pleaded with him to stop. Knowing that her father was irrational at that time, she told him she loved him in an attempt to calm him down but the man tragically turned on her and inflicted multiple stab wounds which claimed the little girl's life." Best view of Toronto's skyline. Better of comparable views can only be obtained from a boat on one of the Toronto harbor cruises.
My midnight visit to Jennifer Kateryna Park was simply breathtaking. The proximity to the lake and the astonishing view of Toronto's downtown skyline were truly mind-blowing. Sitting there with friends for 2 to 3 hours felt like a magical escape. The park's beauty under the moonlight made it an unforgettable experience.
A tiny almost hidden park with the best view of the Toronto skyline! Perfect for photos and sunset captures. A brilliant background for your photography. Parking nearby but I usually just park on the street. Watch the signs for when you can park legally. Right beside Rebel nightclub.
I love this park because it has an absolutely gorgeous view of the Toronto Skyline and bears my cousin's memory. It's not a big park at all but it's a little piece of grass, and trees and flowers that will always have Jennifer's name on it.
This is a perfect spot for taking great photos of the skyline of downtown Toronto, personally visited this place for more than five times, very beautiful in the evening. If you like sunset photos, this is also one of the best places.
Good place to see whole Toronto downtown, can be little windy sometimes but never the less great location for spending time.
Just go here and chill for hours no matter what time it is. The place is really nice. The view is mindblowing
The view is beautiful at night. Would definitely recommend going if you’re into scenic walks by the water!
Small park yet packed with beauty! See our city and keep dreaming big! …
Beautiful spot, best time for time lapse is 5am-9am
This is literally "A Kodak Moment" in park form.
