We ordered a party pack catering of sandwiches yesterday (9/19/20) we called Friday to confirm they received our order and they did. They told us they'd be delivering around 12:30/12:45. We finally had to call the store yesterday, 20 mins later still no sandwiches delivered. When we called, the manager at the location said "well, I'm sorry but we got slammed and we're busy. The driver left 7 mins ago and I have to go." And hung up. No customer service or apologies or anything really... wow. Then the driver finally shows up. Says to my husband he needs to fill out the top part of the form and the tip, but says you can put zero if you'd like. My husband went ahead and put a few bucks down and the driver said "really...that's it?" Huffed and walked away. So disappointed in that experience for being usually a "freaky fast delivery" and good experience, this catering experience wasn't that great. The food was good though but disappointed in the customer service from the manager and driver on duty yesterday. Who complains about a tip? Especially being over 20 mins late? And a manager who says they are too busy to have this conversation and hangs up quickly... A catering order is expensive and should have been priority yesterday, regardless of being "slammed" in person and when your customer placed it a week in advance, called the night before to confirm as well.

I am so annoyed with this restaurant they literally don’t deliver to 4 miles north of them. Plus the one that’s right by my work in downtown Phoenix won’t deliver to me because I’m on the other side of the freeway in their delivery service ends on one side of the freeway I am sorry but if you wanna make money you have to open up your delivery service a little bit wider than 2 miles either side of you this is just ridiculous. I will not be eating here anymore as much as I love the food I’m just so annoyed with the service. Charge more for delivery I don’t care but Get better coverage. The reason they’re freaky fast is because they don’t freaking deliver anywhere. Open up your service to door Dash at least I’d rather pay the extra so I can get the food that I want now I’ll have to order from Quiznos or Subway. Thanks

Avoid. Usually Jimmy John's is great, and I go there because it's fast. This is the first time I've been to this location, and I won't be returning. It took them 20 minutes to make my ham and turkey sandwich, and on my way to my car I noticed it had no turkey. I went back and they remade it, but the woman working there sucked. There was no apology, no attempt to make up for the inconvenience of having to come back and wait longer. Then she made a comment about how if I'm looking for a job to let them know because they "could use the help." Lady, complain to your store owner and manager about staffing issues, not me.

What a poor representation of the Jimmy John's name. To start, it took 40 minutes to receive our order (placed at 1:08, received at 1:46). We live less than a mile away! When we received the sandwiches, the bread was stale and dry. You could bang the bottom of the bread on the counter and it sounded like a cracker. My sandwich was also missing bacon that we paid extra for. When I called back to ask for some money back (I only wanted what we paid for the extra bacon), they said they can't. I could either get a new sandwich, which I didn't have time for because we were leaving the house, or a partial credit to use at their restaurant. I am in from out of town, so either way, I won't see that money again. Shame because we won't eat here ever again!

Met my sister here for dinner one night after work. There were only 2 young girls working. The one who took our order was obviously still in training as she had no idea what ingredients were on any of the sandwiches. She kept turning around and asking the other girl for verification when finalizing our order. When we sat down to eat, they went to the back and started laughing hysterically as if no one was in the restaurant. It went on for about 10 minutes. As a customer, it was very rude and unprofessional. It got to the point where my sister and I quickly finished eating and left. Will not return to this location, which is a shame since we love coming to Desert Ridge.

Awesome! Yet guys, do customers a small favor and read all the details on the food order. Many times when the #3 is ordered it's asked to be cut in half....sometimes it is sometimes not. Trust the cutting helps in addition please don't stuff the tuna in the middle of the sandwich.... there is the top and bottom of the sub with nothing but the bread and some veggies. Tuna with all that would be nice instead of moving it myself. Beyond that you're all bomb! Thank you for the awesome food.

Disgusted. Stopped in for lunch with my mom and my daughter, who has Muscular Dystrophy and is in a wheelchair. We probably would have spent $20. My daughter was thirsty so we asked for a cup of water but needed one with a lid so she didn't spill it. They wanted to charge us .29 for the cup! We told them that it was for my daughter, explaining why we needed a lid. The response was "sorry that's our policy" so we went next door to Rubios, who had no concern with grasping the concept of why we needed a lid. Over a stupid cup.

I am upset because I went in and bought a sandwich with chips and a cookie. I was told that I needed to purchase a drink to make it a combo. The guy taking the order stated he would have to charge me 27 cents for a cup of water to get the combo price. I have bought from this store many times with a sandwich and chips and a cookie and have never been told this. I felt he was making this up and I really do not care about the 27 cents but just do not make things up. If he needed 27 cents I would have gave it to him.

I placed a catering order online two days before I needed it, and everything went perfectly! It was ready for pickup exactly when I had requested, and everything was packed correctly. This was lunch for our wedding party on the day of our wedding, and because everything went so smoothly, it was one less thing I had to think or worry about. Much appreciated and highly recommend this location!!

YOUR MANAGER HAS MENTAL ISSUES! I WAS HARRESED BY BRIE IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS AS I ATE WITH MY FAMILY. I ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK, SHE REFUSED. WENT BACK AND FORTH BUT FINALLY GOT IT BACK . MADE A HUGE SCENE IN FRONT OF ALL THE CUSTOMERS. I REALLY FEEL BAD FOR ALL THE OTHER EMPLOYEES WHO WORK THERE. SHE HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR PEOPLE SKILLS WHAT SO EVER! I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION. THE OWNER NEEDS TO FIRE THIS INDIVIDUAL AND FIND SOME ONE ELSE.

I came in today with my child to order and was completely ignored by the staff when I was at the counter trying to order our lunch. An older employee with a mustache was just shouting at the young man helping him make sandwiches and making it an extremely uncomfortable environment for everyone inside the restaurant. Took almost 2 hours to get our food. Called to get an update after an hour, was left on hold for over 15 minutes with no one coming back on the line. Called back again and was told it would be another 20 to 40 minutes. Went to go pick up food and they sent it out for delivery. If I ever eat at Jimmy John's again, it will most definitely will not be at this location. They were grossly unprepared for a lunch rush.

Super disappointed with “my extra ham” Called the store and was given to the general manager who immediately became defensive when I said there wasn’t extra ham. Anytime I’ve ordered there’s usually 6-8 pieces of ham. General Manger continued to say he made it and that there was nothing wrong with it. Well, here’s my proof. Pathetic if you ask me.

They really are freaky fast. Absolutely love this class. Employees were really nice and they were patient while I was choosing what to order off of the menu. They work so fast, it would almost seem like they were impatient waiting for me, but they were helpful and insured questions and gave suggestions. Seating is every other table. We're a master order no mask to sit and eat (that would be weird).

Came in around 1pm and ordered 2 sandwiches. Cashier was flat out rude to us. Could hear them trash talking behind the counter. Both of our sandwiches were wrong. Ordered wheat bread, cashier ignored me and i got italian. Asked for cucumber and got 3 slices. Asked for sprouts, they were brown, inedible. We love Jmmy Johns but this experience was Bad. Never going back.

Went to this location and LOVED IT. The sandwiches tasted splendid! I was feeling depressed and some good looking gentleman took my order professionally and even gave me some nice compliments and conversations. Then they gave me the most splendid chips. The air after opening the bag was great. I left a picture of the great chips above. Great service and food!!!!!!!

Last resort for a quick bite....plain awful bread, cold cuts awful as well...and the music was deafening. Some terrible rock stuff, never heard any of it. As a result the employees had to speak so very loud and so did customers. Had been to a different JJ's a while ago, it was fine...much better. Not ever taking a chance again...done!

Ordered online. When I showed up, there were no customers there and yet they did not acknowledge me for 5 minutes. One employee was yelling at the cashier and another one was just watching. And finally, the bag of food they gave me did not have my complete order. I will no longer be going to this specific JJ's.

BEST customer service and MOST friendly staff. I work at Bob’s furniture in the plaza and myself and co workers eat there regularly and are always beyond satisfied with the service and food quality. Highly recommend this location.

Had lunch at this location today. Ordered the VITO. The bread was dry and the contents had virtually NO dressing on it. After having gotten through half the sub, went inside and asked if I could please get some vinegar and oil on it. I didn't think I could find a sub this low on food chain

If you like subs, this place has good subs. The quality is good and never had a problem here. Only issue one time was a horrible smell coming from the back but they said they were trying to get it fixed. If you want a quick bite before a movie this place will do.

$9 for a vegetable sandwich with hardly any vegetables. What an absolute joke. It’s offensive. Rooting for you to go out of business. Manager was nice when i called to complain. That’s about all i can say.
