Went to Joe's grill after work last night. Me and some friends. Right away the bartender, Hope, had an attitude with my younger co-worker. Who they kept calling a teenager and she is 22 and just graduated college with a degree in Psychology. It took them 30 minutes to get our drinks and another 30 minutes to an hour to get our food. Which they gave us the wrong food. We are sitting outside and all of the sudden the bartender Hope came out and gave us our bill and said we collectively agree that you (my younger coworker)need to pay your bill and leave. It was us and another couple outside enjoying the firepit. My co-worker tried to go in and apologize if she did anything wrong because she had no idea what was going on. My co worker is in tears and we are in the process of leaving, none of us are saying anything. And Hope is still talking smack and being very disrespectful. So finally I said something, because my friend is crying. She has not said a word the whole time and this was ALL ABOUR HER. Hope is bullying her completely based on her age. Again, kept calling her a "teenager". and "oh, I've dealt with kids like these in fishers". We are still completely baffled by this experience. This did not need to happen. Discrimination at its finest. Needless to say none of us will ever go back to Joe's.

My friends and I were paying customers preparing to leave outside and as I let my diesel truck warm up due to the cold when the drunken idiot of an owner trying to show off for people was being very disrespectful calling my truck a piece of junk because I have performance exhaust and he didn't like the diesel smell. He then continued to threaten me and my friends and then started stating that I made his bar stink with my p.o.s. and I needed to leave and started counting down with threats. I technically was not even parked in front of the bar but in front of another business in this plaza/strip. I am a business owner myself and would never act like that towards customers. He and the people he was trying to show off for were outside smoking when he has a designated smoking area/patio outback and just didn't like the sound of the turbo on my truck. Never again will this place get anymore of my money and better believe I will be calling as I have seen minors in there and they illegally serve alcohol after hours to random customers sometimes til the sun comes up on the weekends. I am sorry for my friends that get illegally get served at that place after hours but I will not be treated like that by nobody period.

A more accurate review would be 4.5 stars from me. I do really like this bar and have visited here multiple times. The food is pretty great. They really know what they are doing back in the kitchen. I love that the kitchen is open much later than most other bars. The staff is friendly. The adult beverages are reasonably priced. The layout of the bar is the biggest turnoff to me. It seems very dated and the awkward. The divide down the middle is my biggest turn off. That and the unisex bathroom behind the pool tables. Does that door even lock?? There are better bathrooms on the other side of the bar. Overall a great experience and I do recommend.

Went with friends on a Taco Tuesday night! Bartender/server changed my tip from $2.50 to $10 on a $9.76 bill. While the owner is doing the right thing and refunding me $7.50, I hate the fact that in this day and age employees can steal and be defended by their employer who needs them so bad that theft is now allowed. The owner said it was an honest mistake. I’m sorry but entering 10.00 is not anything like 2.50. Not even close on the keypad. I can see maybe a 1 wasn’t cleared out and 12.50 could have been entered but not 10 even.

My burger was pink inside when I ordered well done and the bartender tell me she didn’t see that. Yea but it’s not your burger or your money being spent! Bartender stay just that you can’t run nothing but a bar! She was the only one there when I asked for a manager. She was nasty and rude, you don’t know what ppl are going through. I came to Joe’s tonight and ordered a long island ice tea and got a watered down drink that was full of water I believe he was new and didn’t know what he was doing and it wasn’t any of the mix left or something and he added water to make it look like it was a real drink and in fact it was not disgusting as well as someone else’s food I found in the bottom and had yet to order food in the bottom of my cup I don’t know what happened to that black dude that I used to have work here which I need to get him back here and back here quick service sucked!!!!

Food: wife was sad they went away from the crinkle cut fries on the ghetto fries, but they were still Ghetto-licious, tenderloin needs work, was not hand breaded, my double smash burger with Thunder sauce was VERY good. Service: service was ok, bartender was doing the serving and everything...overwhelmed at times...we never had a chance to get drink refills...but she was nice. Atmosphere: typical bar setting go ND!

I understand that seeing a math equation from a drunk customer is probably annoying. That doesn't give you the right to steal from me. I was waiting for the charge to clear and was going to bring the guy $10 cash if it cleared without the tip because I would have felt bet if it didn't. Oh, there was a tip. You put $25. Went there with some friends to celebrate after work. Let's just say for our first time the beginning experience was great. It wasn't until the bar tender came outside and smacked the food that my friend paid for out her hands and proceeded to tell her I told you you couldn't take those wings ...then to go back inside to grab the news paper rack to take a swing at another friend. I have never visited an establishment that allows their employees to treat customers like that especially with food they paid for.

You want good food and good service DO NOT COME HERE! My sister ordered here and the food was uncooked and the customer service was VERY BAD! My sister food wasn’t what she ordered and the worker told her she’s wrong..denied her refund! the worker was so rude she did not trust her to remake it. Whoever owns this business should not leave a bartender to run it! She has no hospitality skills what so ever, she only have the skill to serve dirty desperate men who sit at the bar and drink beer all day!

This was strictly a take out order, so I can't comment on the atmosphere. I ordered the 'Dagwood' on a Hoagie roll, but with no turkey(not a turkey fan). Got LTMO on it and the fries come with it. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and the food was still hot after a 5 minute drive to get it to me.

This establishment rocks reminds of the place called Cheers. Staff is amazing shout out to Dee and Bethany, and Tiff! Great lunch specials and food is always amazing my favorite is the Chicken Tender salad drinks are on point as well. Very laid back and also Trivia on Wednesday nights are off the chain what a good time.. play darts or around of pool. Outdoor patio deck is nice as well

I was in town for work and this place was close to the hotel. I really liked this place. Cool spot to chill and grab drinks. Went 2 nights and got a burger one night and a chicken sandwich the other. Both were very good. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Drove all around the north side looking for some kind of food on Christmas Eve, and finally saw the gloriously luminescent OPEN sign at Joe's around 1am. The lone bartender was doing a valiant job of serving what looked to be the entire population of Castleton. Ordered a bunch of wings and got a beer while we waited. Wings were very good bar wings, and I didn't go to sleep starving because I forgot to go to Kroger earlier. Thanks Joe.

We sat at the bar...the service was great! Bartender was very friendly and personable! The mild wings are good! They have really good ranch! My fries were hot and fresh as well as the rest of our food! The chicken bacon ranch pizza is good...I love it has a thing crust...I normally don't like the crust around the edge of pizza but I like theirs! We went on a Wednesday night (50¢ Wing Night) and it was a small but comfortable crowd!

Our waiter/bartender was awesome. Very personal with a great disposition. He walked to our table several before we made up our minds on what we were eating and drinking. Once we ordered our food and ate our food, we wanted the same thing again, and it was better than the first. He was fast, accurate, and to the point with her service to us. He encouraged us to return. We will.

We had Kyle as our server and bartender and he was absolutely fantastic. Food is amazing. Had the "big Mac" and other cheeseburger, the pepperoni bread, a pop and a long Island for just barely over $35. Great service, great atmosphere, fantastic food and service. Thank you Kyle.

Was "date night" and plans was Dave N Busters, but We came to town with 2 other couples and a time frame. Researched calmer food spots and Joe's Grille came up. Used to be a good bar to grab a quick bite. Stopped in just after 11:00am on a Sunday and one side of the two bars was pretty busy. I went to the other side and nearly all of the seats at the bar were reserved for regular patrons. I didn't want to sit at the end of the bar. I simply chose to leave and find a more inviting place for a burger and a beer. Very disappointed.

Great bartender, music and food! 10/10 would recommend We had three appetizers, many drinks (titos and beer) and a couple rounds of shots and made out at $80 for three people. Go eat here, it is a good local spot worth your time

Wow!!! Stumbled upon Joe’s as the only food option after the Phish show. We were impressed with the fast and attentive service from the bartender. Food was fast and delicious. We were not expecting more than bar food after a show but were floored by quality.

My boss and I came here to have lunch one Tuesday. It looked like a relatively busy place and ran by one young lady. We did not wait too long, the food came hot and fast. She checked on us, cleaned after folks left, she was on top of it all. It was a nice experience and the loaded tater soup and the street tacos were very tasty.

I come here often. They have great specials, great food, and usually something going on each night. Mondays is free pool night and Wednesday they usually do trivia night. The staff always takes care of me and my friends. Very chill spot, especially for a first date night.

Spent my last for my children and I to eat … picked up my food. It wasn’t the way I asked I came to return it wanted my money back because the bartender was so rude that I didn’t trust the food anymore. She told me there’s no way I can get a refund even though the food wasn’t what I ordered

Great spot for a quick drink after work or before a movie, sometimes I go for lunch during the week. The service is awesome and plenty of TV's to watch the game/race or any sport of your choice! Nice spot out back to enjoy the fire pit, quick smoke or to relax.

Just had an awful experience ask for a cup of mayonnaise and the guy working the grill said do you have anything else to complain about extremely rude and do not recommend going if this is the kind of customer service I think gets people in the door

The cajun wings had no flavor. Cooks need to stop depending on the rub or sauce to bring the flavor. The fries with cheese and bacon had no seasoning on the fries and when you cover it with foil, the fries get soggy. First and last time ordering!

Food and service was good. Music was a bit loud, which made it hard to have a conversion with my friend 5' away. Door was propped open, which is fine, except smokers didn't follow the 15' rule for doorways so all the smoke was coming inside.

Audrey seems like a nice young woman, but she talked to everyone, but me. She seemed pretty short and dismissive for some reason when ever I interacted with her. She could make more of an effort to be more friendly to all patrons.

The service was fast. The Italian is served hot and was hot when it arrived at my table. The sandwich had a good melding of savory Italian meats and was served with a side of Italian dressing to act like an au jus.

I adore Joe's Grille! Everybody is friendly and our bartender was especially entertaining on Sunday. Great food, great drinks, and the prices are super reasonable. This is going on my list of regular hangouts!

The bartender G he is the greatest very knowledgeable on Liquors and mixed drinks the greatest chicken wings around the wings beat the commercial chains hands down I eat them right down to the Gristle

The absolute ultimate place to go for great service food and eats..incredibly popular and always will be so long as the staff I.e; ryan, uuah, Marsha and Bess are around! Best in business hands down!

Cheap yet great food. You start to wonder if they profit from the amount of serving you get. It's a bar but still has this nice atmosphere, though we went there for lunch. Will be back when we can.

Unsafe, from my personal experience. I've witnessed violence that was precipitated by the owner who was behind the bar and several and it was very disturbing. I cannot recommend this place.

This place has been great during each and every visit. This is mine and my sisters go to bar and grille, and they never fail us! From the drinks to the food, they are always awesome!

Just ate there today, 2/10/22. Best burger I've had in a while, hopefully it's this good everytime.. and on the cheap side.. ill not eat anywhere else if I'm in the area for lunch..

The wings. Very tasty and what they're known for, so, you need to go if you're a wings kind of person. There are pool tables and tvs. It's a bar with good pub food and great wings!

If you are looking a quiet place, mellow vibes, pool tables and great drinks, this is the place to go. Tiffany was awesome sauce. You can't beat .45 wings after 4pm on Wednesdays.

This guy is rude as hell. We walked in and I said hi nicely 3 TIMES and he ignored us. There were like 5 people at the bar and for no reason he was super rude. Don’t go here.
