Update: 12/29/19 - Fluevog is celebrating 50th anniversary. Usually, a private smaller brand loses its edge long before 50 years. But Fluevog just keeps innovating and delivering beyond customer expectations. Store Manager Pau is absolutely incredible! Innovative, unique shoes and styles and a bit of whimsy. Some retro. Some as new as today. Hard to believe stylish could be such high quality. I have two pairs of boots that are 4-5 years old and still look great. The soles on most of their shoes are like walking on air. Mr. Fluevog himself is charming. The store staff is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. Store Mgr Paul creates a fun environment. I never cease to be amazed by this store, the company, and its founder. Our family has been coming here since it opened - 17-18 years ago(?). They will do anything to please a customer. And they stand by what they sell. If anything breaks, malfunctions, isn't up to par - it's fixed/replaced. The people who work here actually KNOW proper fit. They advise and they inform vs just telling you the shoes look great on you and then getting you out the door with them. It's a fun vibe, comfortable place to shop. No matter how busy they are, the staff always manages to chat up the customers and shoppers. Very friendly. I especially like how they deal with my autistic daughter. Fluevogs are an annual birthday present. She gets treated like anyone else - they look her in the eye, they ask about what she's doing during her visit, etc etc.

If you love fun, you're shoe-r to love this store! These one of a kind fashion brand shoes are daring and unapologetic, and have been a thing since the 70s. It's obvious a lot of care goes into shoesing each design: some are soft and rather girly, while others can be masculine and edgy, they're truly some of the most interesting and unique feet-suits on Earth. - excellent experience with staff and service! - There are great shoes for men here - $200 - $700 - year warranty with cobbling services - returns aren't refunded, only credited.

Love Fun funky,unusual shoes for men and women then this is the place to go! You will get men and women to express shoe envy over your shoes. Nice helpful knowledgeable associates. My first Fluevogs weren't my last,I love shoes. I introduced my husband to these who is hard on his shoes and now these are the only brand for him, he is hooked,and they really last ! It really gets him noticed just walking by in his casual workplace or giving a techtalk and his shoes have come to rival mine ;) , oh my!

Cool designs: always find the next shoe I want for the season. Best service! They clean your Fleuvog shoes even if you didn't buy at their shop!! And give you great advice on cleaning: one part water one part white vinegar if your shoes gets salty. They use Lexol leather cleaner and Wooly product. Fluevogs are an entire philosophy. A religion (though the religiosity of the founder is one of my least favorite aspects)... The culture of the NYC store celebrates fantasticness and queerness and style and joy. If you're committed enough to pay for art to put on your feet, or brazen enough to wander in and simply inhale, you will be enriched.

I love my Fluevogs, but I'd add the caveat that they generally run very small. I'm a size 10 in other brands but I need a 10 1/2 or 11 when it comes to Fluegs, and I notice that quite a few end up in Fluemarket because they are too small for the owners. If you take that in consideration when ordering you'll love your shoes. Classy and unique.

Absolutely love the style of this shoe maker. I have been to several of his stores around the country and they all have really great staff who will help you find a pair that best suits you. Nice for me because they make many men's styles in larger sizes. Great location right near other stores and great little restaurants.

Phenomenal customer service. I was in the market for a pair and they are expensive shoes, but Styles was truly informative about Fluevog and shoes in general-he taught me new methods to expedite the wear in period. In addition, I found out the show I was in the market for was on sale for over half off, which was great!

So much color, style and fun! I love John Fluevog shoes…I always receive a ton of compliments when I wear them, they’re comfy and make me smile! The store is a must for all…A trip to Soho wouldn’t be complete with a visit to this Mecca for shoe lovers…the shoes are cool online, but more amazing in person!

I wore a pair of Fluevog shoes 'til the -- almost, OK --literally fell off my feet...angel souls! WOW!!! I had the opportunity to take my older daughter (twelve) here over the weekend (a nice hideout from the raucous San Gennaro Feast/Festival), and she fell in love...as I did long, long ago!!!

If you're looking for style, funk and pizzazz, these shoes are for you. I feel like as a customer here, I'm part of some underground shoe club. I love the shoes, and the service in here has always been top notch. I love coming by the store just to see what new styles are available.

Shoes that know how to outpace the ages. Styles range from very funky to slightly funky to conservatively funky, and I’ve been loving them because of this for too long. They hold up well, too. Stuff at the shop are welcoming, professional and helpful.

The shoes here are special. Only the posh and stylish. Exotic shoes for anybody trying to make a statement. The Starfleet Academy shoes took the cake. The staff was well dressed in couture. Pricey, but you won't find shoes like this anywhere else.

I have been buying shoes for 20 years here and nothing beats them. They look like no other shoe out there and better yet super comfortable. My last pair they custom fitted the shoes to me and I walk 10 miles that day. Best shoes ever!!!

The staff is super friendly and chatty. Even if you aren't buying they still gave me a card with my size on it and the name of the shoe I like, gave me tips to order and have sent to the store. Really great customer service.

This is a shoe store to come to, to try on all types of shoes. They do not rush you.But the prices are not cheap. Beautiful trendy well made shoes. And very comfortable.
