I took my wedding ring to get it fixed since another jeweler messed it up and a diamond fell out. I called a different Kay’s location and was quoted $35 to put the diamond in. I took it to the South Park location and the associate Janet told me it should be no more than $70. I said fine because I wanted my ring fixed. A couple of days later I received a phone call from them saying it was going to be $116. I asked why so much that I was told it was going to be a lot lower. They managed to have it lowered to $76. When I received an email that my ring was ready the email stated it was going to be $204. I went to their store frustrated and confused but they did manage to just charge me the $76 plus tax. Exactly one week later, the same diamond I had repaired fell out again and now it’s lost. I called immediately after they opened to make sure it was under their warranty. I called three times and not once did anyone answer the phone. The last time I let the phone ring so long it led to a busy signal. I went to the store and I talked to the manager and his excuse was they were really busy. I told him I understand but it’s not hard to answer the phone and say please hold if they were that busy. Well the manager said it should be ready the next Saturday. Yesterday I received an email saying my ring is ready. As much as I hate going to the mall especially a couple of days before Christmas due to traffic I went excited to pick up my ring. I went over and it took them 15 minutes to find my ring. In the meantime I’m nervous because I thought they lost my wedding ring. They managed to find it just to find out the whole time it never got fixed. Apparently their repair center has to order another diamond and it would take another couple of weeks. By that time I lost it. I asked that idiot manager that the ring was back in their possession for 24 hours and they couldn’t bother to call me to tell me what the hell was going on? I wasted my time going over just to hear the manager say “there is nothing we can do” and not even give me a specific day when it would be ready. I left sobbing because it’s just a never ending nightmare. I called corporate to file a complaint and the rep told me that their repair store wouldn’t send my ring back to the store if they had to order another diamond that it didn’t make sense. She talked to her manager and called this location 4 times but again the associates never answered their phone so she called their district manager and told him what happened and she told me that he would call me within the hour but so far he hasn’t. If you can, go to a different location or better yet another jeweler because these people are complete morons!

Poor customer service! I ordered a ring for my boyfriend back in August and my only request was to have it before Christmas. It is now February and I have not receieved any email or any update on the ring. I even paid them $45 dollars ahead of time! Just got off the phone with them and their explantation was that it was never picked up so they cancelled it.
