If you want to buy a truck with add-ons from Kanata Ford, think twice. Because this dealership that’s known for selling upgraded trucks doesn’t like when they had the warranty their aftermarket products. My Tonnele cover has been leaking for the last six months and it’s only one year old. I have brought this to their attention a number of times and somebody always says they’ll get back to me once they get approval to replace it. In the meantime, I get the truck that cost me $120,000. That leaks water all over my expensive tools and possessions. I have had thousands of dollars in tools get destroyed when they should be protected in the back of my truck with the tunnel cover. That is its sole purpose. I’m getting to the point now where I believe legal action is necessary because I don’t know who is responsible for replacing my tools and belongings. The amount of disrespect and stress. This causes me is completely unprofessional from this dealer. I shouldn’t have to call them and bring this issue up multiple times when I’ve expressed that my belongings are getting damaged in the interim. I hope somebody at this dealer call has the opportunity to read that so they know how much neglect their service manager provides to their clients. 100% would never recommend this dealer because of their service department. When somebody spends less amount of money on a new vehicle, they should be a valuable customer, and the customer service should be 10 times better.
I bought a brand new truck 3 months ago, and in the past 3 months i had to go back to the dealership 3 times for repairs; 1. During the first 2 weeks of my purchase; The welding of the truck's body was not done correctly and when it started raining.. water was leaking in my truck...i had to use a vaccum to suck out the water that had made it in the body of the truck many times until i had my appointment. The welding process was supposed to take 48 hours and ended up being 3 weeks. (im worried that it was in the lot during rainy days and winter and im not sure if i will be getting rust on the body faster than usual) 2. My new aftermarket Sound System was damaged during the welding process when they were fixing the truck, the wiring of my sound system got damaged and abused (mechanics must have been blasting the music from my system) 3. I was expecting to have a brand new truck and save time/money but it came with many other issues that delayed me from being able to Work as Iam a contractor. these issues included: seatbelt issues, passenger window issues and im honestly thinking of going back to Dodge. I arrived today for my repair appointement and they did not have a Service Loaner ready for me like the previous times i had brought in my tuck ( Keep in mind that i had to go back 3 times in 3 months) they thought i was going to walk home? ...Worst possible customer service. - Greenlight Home Renovations

Walked in to be met at the door by friendly professional staff. Told them what I was looking for and they directed me to Chris Sellathurai. He was just as friendly, and knowledgeable about the vehicle I was looking at. The only Ranger on the lot, was the one in the showroom, so Chris, being the stand up guy he is, borrowed a staff members to allow me a test drive. He gave me some numbers to look over and at no point did I feel pressured to accept them. Once I decided to go ahead with the purchase, nothing at all changed, he reanimated the same friendly professional. Even stopping in several days later, he made sure everything was good with the truck, remembered me and the small issue I had. I’d gladly recommend him to anyone considering purchasing here.
Purchased a new 2023 F150 XLT 302a factory order build from Kanata Ford this year. Order was placed in Feb and truck arrived at the end of Apr. The factory spray in bed liner had some spots that required touching up. They booked me in when I was available and provided a loaner for the day for me. Rus was responsive and prompt in communications and answered any questions I had during the ordering process. He let me know the day the truck arrived on the lot as it was "in transit" for a month. I am very happy with my purchasing experience. Gerry did my walk through when taking possession. He made sure I was off to a good start with all the vehicle features before leaving.
Purchased a 2022 F-150 Lariat with the stage one FXR package from Kanata Ford, made the deal back in October and had to wait a little while for the truck to come in. It was worth every second. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, i couldn't be more satisfied with the service I received from Chris, Joe, Nicky and Mike. Real class act over there, Not to mention I picked up my truck the day after Ottawa was pounded with 30+Cm of snow. Showed up to a warm truck, snow cleared off and happy smiling staff running around like mad men clearing off vehicles and cleaning the yard up. Great Experience all around. I visited Kanata Ford for an issue with the rack and pinion in my Ford Fusion. I paid $210 for the diagnostics. The report says that the car was scanned and inspected for any problem in the rack and pinion, and there was none, but one control arm needed replacement. I did not proceed with that. A couple of months later, when it was due for an oil change, the engine splash shield was missing. I went back to Kanata Ford, asking about it since it was the last place I left my car in, and the guy at the desk insisted that to inspect the rack and pinion, they don't need to take the shield off. Which doesn't make any sense to me.
Purchased this 2022 F-150 FXR truck 2 weeks ago, and I LOVE it. Amazing truck! Had a great experience dealing with Kanata Ford. My sales rep Chris Sellathurai was great, took lots of time showing me everything about the truck. He had the truck exactly how I wanted it and completely spotless and ready right on time. I had a couple more questions after getting the truck home and he was very helpful with them. I've dealt with the service department there before and they are also very good, I will be getting all my service work for this truck done by Kanata Ford Highly recommend these guys
I had various warning light on my 2018 f150. I called Kanata ford on may 2, the soonest they had for an appointment was may 9. On may 9 they told me the wheel bearing needed replacement and it was out of warranty. I told them to proceed. When I got my invoice it stated the warranty expired on may 7. So if they would have been able to see me sooner it would have been covered under warranty. Kanata ford refused to help have this covered under warranty and the service manager did not return my call. I contacted ford directly and they also refused to help. So I was stuck paying $800.
If I could give this dealership a 0 star I would. They charge $130 for an oil change (semi-synthetic) which is just a baseline service …. Their excuse was because they have licensed technicians which is why it costs more which is ridiculous as every ford dealership has licensed technicians. I had to call two other locations to find out why they charge more and the real reason is because their labour cost are $218 an hour … they charge the most in the city . Don’t get your oil changed here at all.
It was time to put myself back into a truck. Had shopped around to find the right fit for me and ended up going back to Kanata Ford. Dealt with Chris Tranmer who worked with me at my pace to get to the deal and truck I wanted. Buying a new truck during the pandemic certainly brought out extra challenges, but patience and Chris' friendly, helpful attitude brought it to a successful conclusion. The financing and delivery were smooth capping off a very pleasant experience.

I just bought a 2021 FXR sport package F-150 and I love it! Jamie Barr is the one who assisted me during this process and the service was exceptional! This in not a negative comment to the dealership but to an individual associated with it. To the idiot driving the black Ford bronco with kanata Ford decal on the back windshield please do the public a favor and return your drivers license to service ontario. Your a Menace on the road and should not be allowed to drive. RED LIGHT means stop not keep going and run someone off the road.
This started off as a 1-star review due to less than stellar communication, but once Antonio got involved everything turned around. We needed a very specific, detailed report following an inspection due to an improper insurance-covered repair (from another vendor) and Antonio made sure we had exactly what we needed, while ensuring our truck was still roadworthy and safe to drive.
Great customer service and pleasant experience dealing with Kanata Ford. Recently I had a problem with my new Ford escape and they were quick in solving the problem with no extra hidden costs. Kevin Macnamara was very helpful and courteous , ensured the problem was solved in a timely manner. If you ever have a problem with your Ford ,do look for Kevin. Thank you again!
I bought an edge today and couldn’t have been treated better. My sales person Mike Preston was very good and took the time to explain everything about the car. The sales manager made a great deal for my old car and offered me top dollar. And the finance person was very good and quick with the financing. I will always come back here.

Highly recommend kanata Ford! I was just in to take a look at their new loaded broncos and you won't find a more loaded bronco than the one in their show room. Also, the staff are tremendous! The ladies at the front are great to deal with and know their trucks! I bought my truck in 2019 and couldn't be happier.
My service experiences have not always been positive but I convinced my wife to give to give Kanata Ford another try after she had a poor experience the first time. Well again, poor experience that left us both feeling like we were taken advantage of. I'd recommend choosing a different dealership for service.
I recently had a warranty issue with my lug nuts. I contacted sales and they booked me in right away with the great help of our salesman Joe and the sales manager. They were able to replace them for me in a timely manner and the bonus of waiting in the cafe with a snack made the experience even better.

Aug 29,2022. My F-150 with 53,000 klicks requires an engine change due to a broken rod. Service dept left me high and dry, I had to call someone for a ride cause they were unwilling to help.
The sales people are absolutely terrible people Bully people into signing a deal, even after saying you are just looking. Wouldn't offer the Ford A-plan, and over all just rude. Avoid.
