Stuart was our Funeral Director and from the moment we spoke on the phone, he was so compassionate and so kind. When I initially called the funeral home the first time I spoke to someone else and they were not as pleasant to talk to, so I was glad that Stuart was the one that took care of us instead. I was dreading having to deal with the funeral planning with something so devastating happening to me at the same time. But Stuart really went over and beyond. He was so kind, so genuine, so compassionate that it really took a huge burden off my back to have him take care of all the arrangements. It was actually quite therapeutic in how he dealt with everything, explained everything with such detail and offered his honest opinions and accommodating as much as he can to my families needs. Even if I contacted him off hours he was there to help. I am so appreciative for him through this time. I couldnt have dealt with situation the way I did with as much composure if it wasnt for him. My grandmother got the funeral pre-planning with Maricel Victoria a few years ago because she was unable to get approved for insurance and she wanted to get something to help in the future when her time came. Im so glad she made the decision to do so. Maricel was so genuine and her approach in explaining to us the importance of pre-planning was impeccable. She made us feel so at ease, prepared and secure. Im so appreciative for her amazing service, follow-up and her genuine need to help. This wouldve been devastating for my family to deal with if we didnt do the preplanning. I am shocked at the lack of professionalism, bizarre obsessions and judgement from the Funeral Director, Ken. The deceased, my grandmother, requested that she be buried in a long sleeved, floor length, wedding dress and long white gloves. Our attempt to honor our grandmother's wishes has brought nothing but criticism and judgement from Ken who has deemed the dress "inappropriate" and a "dance" dress. Ken's need to moderate and judge what is acceptable for my 82 year old grandmother to wear was 100% inappropriate when he nearly left my cousin in tears when dropping off the dress (his inappropriateness was acknowledged as he called later to apologize for his bizarre behavior). One thing that will NEVER BE FORGIVEN is bringing up this issue as my aunts, uncles, and cousins were at the private viewing, seeing our grandmother for the first time since her death to find that she was covered up by a cardigan. Ken's need to moderate female clothing, and bizzare insistence that a long sleeved wedding gown was somehow inappropriate, blinded him from the compassion one would expect from a funeral director. He continued to SCOLD the children of the deceased that the dress was inappropriate as my mom and aunt attempted, in tears, to unbutton the cardigan in a last ditch attempt to honor their mom's wishes. I don't know what has led Ken to be so concerned with censoring and sexualizing the dress of an 82 year old woman, but his insistence that he be the arbiter of "appropriateness", above the children and grandchildren of the deceased is unforgivable. Unfortunately, Ken's sharia like obsession with female clothing is just another indignity my grandmother and family needs to suffer through the hands of our funeral director, Ken.

Our experience with Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes was the most comforting and no stress during the funeral of my father. We are looking for a funeral home who can repatriate my father back to the Philippines for his burial as he wished. I’ve contacted 3 companies. 2 responded to me. Why I’ve choose Kane-jerret was they reply to my email in a very timely manner. Their communication was clear and straight forward. The staff was very compassionate and kind. They make me less stress. The staff are kind and yes to all my request. Honestly, we are so happy with them so we all got funeral arrangements pre planning! Yup, there’s a thing. My father died with smile on his face, we did our best and Kane- Jerrett took care of him respectively and repatriated him carefully! It is a sad and overwhelming time when you need the services of a funeral home but when that need arises you want compassion, patience, and guidance. These are all things I received from Kane-Jerrett. Ken Burnley (Funeral Director) listened to my wishes, gave helpful suggestions, and then made all the necessary arrangements ensuring that everything fell into place for me seamlessly. Anna Conti Hodgson (Family Service Counselor) helped complete all the necessary paperwork for the CRA, and walked me through all of the other agencies and organizations that need to be notified. At a stressful time, this assistance made things feel much less overwhelming. I really appreciated the assistance I received from everyone at Kane-Jerrett and would highly recommend using them.

Kane-Jerrett was absolutely amazing! It was my first time planning a funeral for a close family member. It was nice to see a familiar face when we met Ken Burnley at Jerrett's. He had in fact dealt with my mother and I when we set up my fathers burial plan. Once again he was very professional but warm and amusing all at the same time. Ken has a wonderful way about him and made us feel not only comfortable but made everything very easy. He explained everything in a way we could understand. It stands to reason once my mothers things are settled i will be returning to Jerrrett's and Ken to set up my own plans. TOP CLASS SERVICE! EXCELLENT IN EVERY ASPECT! My late sister has chosen Jerrett for her funeral plan and services. Ken Burnley is so professional and detailed with the service they provide. Everything and things to expect are very well explained. During viewing and funeral we were guided and looked after by Stuart Westcott, a very respectful gentleman and excellent in what he does. Other staff who has assisted and helped us like Alistair is really great and Ian who drove the service car is also a proper gentleman and made us really feel comfortable.

The staff provided much thought and care around timeliness of the funeral service, special care in connecting with a meaningful officiant, support with internment at a later date as requested by our family. Smells like death. Don’t fall for the high pressure sales tactics disguised as “caring” gestures. They purposely put predatory measures in place to force you to use their services and take advantage of your time of grief. It’s also very obvious that majority of their reviews are fake.

Came here for a visitation and brief service for someone I knew who passed. The facility itself is luxurious and pristine. The rooms are huge! The bathrooms were even fancy, also immaculate. The staff were very courteous and respectful and professional.
