The book selection here is incredibly meager, and the patrons here are so loud, bordering on unruly, that I could hardly focus on anything. I wish the best for the employees though. They were friendly and answered a couple questions I had. They must have a lot of patience to handle working at this location. There's a fairly prominent computer/print/fax area open to public use but again, good luck getting any work done with all the noise and general chaotic vibe. The postal services that Google alluded to here are simply stamps being sold at the front desk and a drop box outside. There's not much more than that.

This has to be the worst library in the midwest. A minimal selection of books, a few rude librarians, and even worse patrons. I’ve used this library 4 times this summer, and every time I go, there’s either a fight, hoodlums standing outside smoking weed or something offensive. This place seems like an unruly homeless shelter, and I feel bad for the security guard that works there with no protection . Please close this location or have police presence at all time because this is no longer a respectable library.

I have found that this COVID 19 is making some people to be a little aggressive, rude, and disrespectful to others. I am using for their excuse, but there are so many nasty attitudes working in the libraries. Security is just terrible, they be looking at phones, gossiping, and one I caught sleep.

My daughter loves to read and we made a stop at the Kansas City Library to see this. It's nothing major but for someone who loves books, it was spectacular. It can be a bit confusing with parking so be sure to plan your route properly before going. Fun place to visit.

The staff members are very helpful with whatever you are needing help with, so I like that fact. It's not necessarily quite like a library should be, but it is useful to get computer work done if you don't have access to a computer at home.

It's stressful there, because it's people there talking so loud, they've had near fights there, people walking around talking loud and cursing. Security isn't doing anything to control it. Staff is afraid too. How can anyone work or

They're rude and supposedly a "Safe Space" but so anti homeless! They yelled at a homeless guy to get a haircut, they yelled at someone else that wasn't causing issues that they had to wake up and couldn't sleep in a chair.

We were looking for the "book wall" because it was in the pictures for this branch. This was not the right place. If your looking for that it's called the community bookshelf.

The pop-in pick up service is so convenient. When I arrived, I called to pick up my items. The librarian was very friendly and had my books ready in less than 5 minutes.

I'm new to the KC area and I can say this was a wonderful welcome to the city. Polite, professional, and easy to access information. Will definitely be visiting again.

It's a library, but you can't tell because no one checks out any books. It's basically a homeless shelter. All the KC libraries are.

No stars to report. People are way to talkative and loud. Totally unacceptable. Will not go there again unless there's order
