A great range but a complete let-down on service. Came in with my partner a few days ago, travelling from rural NSW to Sydney. We were in to pick up a cage for a juvenile Amazon parrot. The first cage we looked at was a little too big for our car. The salesperson was very pushy, stating the cage easily fit into her Kia Cerato with the seats down. We politely declined, as with a Mazda 2 sedan and a load of goods from our holiday, we couldn't fit it in. We were then offered a tape measure to make 100% certain. I used it to confirm that, as I'd said, the cage wouldn't fit. The salesperson then stated she'd happily take staff out to help us fit it in, with myself declining a third time. We then looked at another cage which was a bit smaller, but were declined being able to purchase it because after a conversation with their manager in front of us, the "posts are too thin - look, [they can be bent] with my hand". This is despite the cage generally being known as a cage suitable for small - medium parrots, the size of an Amazon being a medium parrot. Furthering my point, we picked this bird up from our local AAVAC registered vet who had this bird in the exact same cage. We then looked at getting a perch for our loungeroom. Despite explaining to the salesperson that we weren't wanting one with the 'grippy material for showering', she couldn't seem to understand we wanted a regular stick on perch. We told her twice that we were not after a perch for our bathroom as our Eclectus parrot prefers to have his own shower under the water, on the ground. This then turned into a story of her parrot Alex, and how he loved being on the perch and the dangers of "buying online". Just relentless sales pushing without any attention to the customer's needs. We ended up leaving without a cage and went to a competitor to spend our money. Under the guise of 'safety', these people are happy to push you to purchase higher priced products, while themselves selling toys with crop impaction risks. These people literally have a guide for safety of their own bearded dragons saying you shouldn't cohabitate them. Their cages are filled with juveniles to near adult bearded dragons. They can't even take their own advice on safety - which they should.

If you want to buy a bearded dragon in Sydney, there is only one place to go - Kellyville Pets! We took home our new Beardy with a health guarantee meaning they only sell healthy and happy fellas & sheilas (no Zeros due to health problems I wasn't aware of!). We made an appointment over the phone & found out its better to have your reptile licence available (quick to get online), and the incredible guru Will spend a full 90 minutes helping us choose our Beardi and make sure the set-up was perfect, answered all our many questions, and gave us options from base to premium. He clearly explained the differences but didn't push one product over the other. The best part was getting to hold all the Bearded Dragons we were interested in, which gave us a great idea of their personalities and how we might get along. I also liked being able to feel the difference from normal to leatherback, and each one felt a bit different. We also met the mum & dad Beardies so we got an idea of the full grown size. We got our Bearded dragon tank second hand, but even though we didn't buy the tank at the store we didn't feel like we received anything less than platinum star service. I'm still shocked at how dedicated Will was to spending time with us & even telling us his working days so we knew when could reach him. In the car we had another question, and a different team member was just as reassuring, knowledgeable, and helpful. We got fish there before, and the team members don't step outside their area of expertise - there doesn't seem to be any ego involved, we were always referred to another staff member if the current person didn't have the answers to our questions (and fair go the aquascaper doesn't know what bulbs a bearded dragon needs!). 100% recommend. A 90 minute one-on-one tour with Will didn't cost an extra cent - how good! Our beardy is now happy and immediately ate some larvae & veggies No wonder Kellyville Pets is rated the best pet shop in Sydney!

Their price setting is very inconsistent. Normal beardie goes over 400 sometimes and down to around 200 anytime soon. We bought their beginner‘s setting and followed everything from the masterclass and were getting food for him from Kellyville as well. But our baby bearded dragon started getting sick at 4 weeks at home, so we took him to the vet it turns out he's sick from ringworm and coccidia, so we were giving him medication. (we have no other reptiles that he can get parasites from at home) And died from impaction and suffering from parasites, the vet said sand is not a good substrate since it can cause impaction and is not good for hygiene, while the staff said it was totally fine and clean. And we are assuming that the UVB light wasn't working properly as well. (since he was having a seizure at the last moment and always getting a lot more active when we give him natural sunlight) I hope you guys check the UVB light is working properly with a customer or at least include the UVB checker in your bundle. We ordered a checker to check it but he passed away before it arrives. It was such a tragedy for us to lose our child. On the other hand, our experience with Kellyville pets and the staffs were always nice. I just hope there's no one else experiencing this kind of tragedy. To people who read this, please get them checked at the vet in case for any underlying illness or parasites, beardies don't show it until they are REALLY sick and please don't use sand as a substrate for your dragon. Your dragon can be the one. -------------------------------------------------- They didnt reply to our email for almost 3 weeks now

I had to buy some dog nappies for my dog, who unfortunately became temporarily incontinent due to medication. I asked a guy who was packing shelves if he could help me or at least tell me where they were. He immediately asked another girl staff member nearby if she was busy serving anyone, to which she responded,'No'. So far, so good. She then took me, with dog in tow, to the nappy shelf, then headed off to grab a tape measure to check what nappy size was right for my dog. She returned with the tape measure but walked straight past me to serve someone else to buy a dog bed. I stood for about 10 minutes, then she popped over to say she'd be with me shortly, then I stood for another 5 minutes. Still no help. So I left. I rarely leave poor reviews, but under these circumstances, I feel I have to. It would have taken just a few seconds to pop the tape onto my dog to check her size, but clearly, it seems I was less important when someone else was going to spend a lot more money on a dog bed instead of dog nappies for $24.95. I'm very disappointed with the service I received this time. Maybe I'll have to start shopping somewhere else.

Covid update: separate entrance and exit using cordons. There is now an area to wash your hands with soap and water before entering. Hopefully those who entered without using those facilities use the hand sanitiser provided. It's still a busy place on the weekend and staff have done a great job cordoning off certain areas. The fish area doesn't work too well when so many people are in there though. Set next door to my fur-babies' favourite vet, Dr Marcus Mander, your pets are welcome here! There is so much to do at this clean, beautifully-maintained pet shop/animal kingdom. It's busy but it doesn't feel like it. It has a calming effect. A walk around reveals reptiles, birds, puppies, fish and more, with habitats and more to help you decide. The staff are friendly and helpful. I particularly love spending time in the fish section with heaps to look at. I have seen a few small groups out on a happy day trip. Like I said, it's great to explore this calming place! There is a DIY dog grooming area outside. They have a loyalty card as well.

I recently purchased an aquarium from Kellyville Pets and I must say, the entire experience was fantastic! From the moment I walked into the store, I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff who were eager to assist me. Schmick, Brad and Jake were particularly helpful and provided me with all the guidance I needed to choose the perfect aquarium for my home. Not only did they help me with the purchase, but they also arranged for the delivery and installation of the aquarium. The delivery was prompt and the installation was done flawlessly, making the whole process incredibly convenient for me. Today we visited Kellyville Pets after a couple of months, since their aquarium section was under renovation last time we were there. We were shocked by the price hikes! I could barely believe how much they have increased their prices. Everything we looked at, had jumped in price, on average 50%! We often buy fish from reputable places but these prices are unbelievable! They seem to have gone the route of "Oh! Everyone knows us and talks about us and they drive for tens of kilometers to visit our shop. Why not rip them off?!" That's insane! one of the prices that was unbelievable was for mystery snails: $15.99! They're normally anywhere between $3 to max $10 everywhere. Why $16?! and not even for big ones. Small Pearl Gouramis for $33?! We bought two from a very large and reputable place a few months back for $15 each. Will never go back! Such a rip-off!

The best pet shop ever!!! The staffs are super friendly and knowledgeable. The store also have every necessary things we need for our pet. It was our first time having a puppy so we had no idea what to do. However, the staffs were guiding us the entire time on what we need to do and get, they even gave us a call days after to check and happily answer our questions when we called. When the vet required our puppy to have a dental procedure months after, Kellyville Pets was happy to cover it without any fuss. The store really cares and loves our puppy genuinely. Here is our puppy 5 months old "Banana". We got him from Kellyville when he was just 2 months old and he has grown up very well now. Thank you Kellyville for bringing this little happiness to our life ❤️.

I heard about Kellyville Pets years ago when I got my first parrot but unfortunately I've never made it into the store. I decided to order a few things from them online and to say I am impressed would be a total understatement! These guys are amazing! Every aspect of my experience was fantastic. Online ordering was easy, my items arrived within two days, items were carefully and neatly packaged and there was even a little something in there me oh, and I can't forget the little note for me and my birds inside and the note on the outside of the box for the birdies As the old saying goes "it's the little things" Thank you for a great experience all round.. My parrots love you and so do I - I can't wait to visit you in store one day!

What a store!! This place has everything for every type of pet. We picked up our much anticipated puppy after checking out that Kellyville Pets only work with reputable breeders. They spent a lot of time going through every aspect of bringing home a puppy and how to care for them. Hayley was so informative we were thrilled with the information she shared with us and they had everything organised in a folder for you to take home and refer to. A vet had already checked him out and we had another appointment made for after. Everything we needed was in store, lots of options, lots of price points for every budget. Can't recommend enough, our puppy has settled into his new home really well because of the great start he had.

On Saturday I drove over 2 hours to come visit this store. I ended up walking away with a beautiful hypo Bredli python (now named freckles) Will, was such a good guy to deal with and considering we arrived at the busiest time possible in the reptile section, it did not stop him from going above and beyond for us. He set me up with everything I needed, gave me a lot of knowledge on what to do and how easy they are to maintain with the correct set up! I leave this review because I have never had such a great experience with customer service at a pet store before. I will be back!! Thanks very much Kellyvile pets but especially Will!! You made our 4 hour trip worth every bit!

These guys are amazing with their customer service for their online store. I ordered a bag of dog food for delivery and was advised that it was currently out of stock but they would let me know when it was back in. As I still had enough for a few more days, I let them know it was okay but if there were further delays to let me know. About a day later it was dispatched and so I didn't think anything of it but they actually arranged to have it couriered out (for no further cost) and added in extra treats which the doggies loved. Not only is this above and beyond, their prices are the best for 15kg bags of BlackHawk - Thanks again for your great service :)

A big thank you to Kellyville Pets who introduced us to the newest member of our family, Coco Chanel. They set the standard for selling dogs. All the breeders they buy from can have their facilities inspected at any time (and once a year by appointment) by the RSPCA and the Animal Welfare League. They give you a manual, which they go through with you, and you have the option to buy a series of online learning videos for an extra $25 (1/2 price) which we did. They also give you a 7 day cooling off period, and rehoming of your dog if you are in a situation where you can no longer keep it. We were very happy with their service and recommend them highly!

Wow what an amazing pet store! We were directed here from the Animal Welfare League as we wanted to adopt a rescue cat and they have a few cats at a time for you to meet. Monique was very helpful and attentive and patient... it made it so easy for us to fall in love with our forever kitty Tuppence. We are so in love! Thank you Monique for all of your assistance in introducing us to Tuppence and for helping us get set up with everything we needed to ensure Tuppence was going to live her best life at her new home! I highly recommend Kellyville pets for all of your pet needs, if we lived closer I would shop here all the time.

Really great pet store. Well maintained and very knowledgeable staff. I bought a new bearded dragon and an enclosure very happy with the product quality and the new dragon. I would rate 5 stars but I was ~strongly~ recommended to get a 90×60×60 enclosure for the bearded dragon as the minimum size. I was told I could take a pygmy dragon for the smaller size 90x60x45 yet the bearded dragon brochure that supply says 90x60x45 would be suitable. Additionally I already have lizards and didn't need all the inclusions in their recommended pack which they wouldn't take out. Ended up costing me $200 more than it should of.

Hands down probably the best quality and and fish health then any other store around. Especially for marine reefers where fish are Australian sourced. Really only trust these guys from experience with coral and fish keeping. Huge renovation urgrade to their diplays. Jake in Aquatics section has always looked after us and has vast knowledge, advice and exprience. More so, becoming a member, disscounts are large, especially for us with dog food, i.e. Royal Canin for our large dogs. Large store, lots of brands, birds, REPTILES, puppies. Our family are definitely loyal customers.

Just wanted to say thanks to not only the store but the aquarium team out at kellyville pets I’ve started a new hobby in reef fish tanks and the guys at kellyville have been amazing and so helpful through the whole process from purchasing the tank to then installing and getting it up and running for me as I’m disabled and have limited ability in my legs. Nothing has been a problem and are always on hand if I call up to talk me through something or give me the advice I need so just wanted to say a huge thanks and definitely recommend the team for all your aquarium needs

I was totally blown away by the thoughtful packaging and lovely handwritten note that I received from the staff at Kellyville Pets! The outside of the box even had a hand written note for our dog which made it extra special as it was marked ‘special delivery for (dogs name). On top of that, the products I ordered were far and above the best value I could find anywhere online. Delivery was fast and tracking emails came promptly. My family and I decided to try keeping fish and as a first fish tank owner, I felt a little lost and very unsure about the best way to take care of the aquarium and the fish. I have to say that Brett and “Smick Mick” were incredible in providing me with guidance and honest advice. They are young men who have defied the stereotypes about their generation. They are both so respectful, kind, generous with their time and showed a genuine interest with all our concerns. I will be returning to Kellyville Pets because of their wonderful customer care. I ordered my dog food online and they had run out by the time it came to processing my order. Rachel could not be more helpful she emailed to let me know that they had run out and a new shipment was due in a couple of days. Once the order arrived it was put in startrack and we had it by dinner time. Lucy was very happy. Thank you Rachel for keeping me updated with everything and the human treats that you guys included. Today I was disgusted of been treated like a child and tried to be educated by a young lady on how to take care of a guniea pig . The worse part was the fact we had to show proof of where we will be leaving the guniea pig, had to buy their pet food, had to buy their pet carriers home. I found this as a money make scheme. I find this a terrible experience and feel that other customer's need to know what to expect when purchasing from there. Will not be going back there anymore and rather give my business to a smaller business not this money hungry place.

Do not use online service! Placed an order for animal food on a Wednesday morning. As of the following Tuesday afternoon, the food has not arrived. Called to speak to Kellyville Pets and they pointed to FAQs and washed their hands off it. Asked for compensation in the form of points or promo food to address the anguish and was told they will not do anything. In response, I said I would not shop there again, having been a 10 year customer. I was told that was okay. So this is how much Kellyville Pets cares about their customers and animals. Sham.

Emily was truely wonderful. She went above and beyond helping us pick our new bunny. She did not pressure us into a purchase but when we had made our choice she ensure we had all the necessities to get him home safely and in to an environment he would be happy. The staff here care that all pets going to their forever home will be well looked after. Recommend anyone buying a pet goes here. Any pets we buy in future this will be our first stop. My Partner and I are absolutely in love with Albie. He’s already settling right in.

I was a first time customer ordering kibble for my Greyhound & I am super happy with Kellyville Pets. Kellyville pets is absolutely amazing. The staff are so knowledgeable and helpful taking the time to talk to my 14 year old and 10yo giving them helpful advice. There is a huge range of animals available and so much to see. Highly recommend Kellyville Pets. Great for more exotic pets too like spiders, snakes and turtles. The prices for pet food etc are reasonable. We have purchased 2 snakes from them over the years and have had plenty of support, even ringing them for advice at times. Great all round pet store

As a first time shopper of kellyville pets, It just made my day to come home to a speedy delivery. When i opened the package i was filled with joy, when seeing the cutest note written on the package for my scaley babies, and even a few goodies for myself. I was really happy to find a place that supplies something different reptile food wise. Thank you for being so thoughtful with my order. I have ordered twice now and will definitely be staying a loyal costumer, plus the girls absolutely loved there treats.

Kellyville pets is no doubt the best go to for pet needs and recently was an absolute life saver simply due to the knowledge Will was able to share with me, as a first time snake owner, which solved the mystery of Ziggy not eating. Will clearly is very experienced in his field and was extremely helpful in aiding me with my beautiful b/g jungle python, purchased also from Kellyville Pets. I definitely would recommend having a chat with Will if you are interested in their great range of reptiles. Thank you!

Lots of variety for all pets, large aquarium/fish area and lots of options. Lots of animals available including snakes, turtles, lizards invertebrates, birds, chickens, dogs, rabbits, Guinea pigs, rats and mice, freshwater and marine fish. There were no cats or kittens available and all the puppies are all very similar. Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable though which is wonderful However the are on the pricey end of things. They had bichirs for $500 where they have been $300 at other places.

Visited Kellyville Pets today which was supposed to be a window shop kinda day. Ended up asking Abbey questions about bunnies and an hour and $600+ later (I went all out) I’m walking out with my very own. I was honestly so nervous to make this choice, but Abbey answered every single question I had (there were 100+) plus information I didn’t know and more. She’s definitely the go-to for advice. I am totally obsessed with my boy and he’s already laying next to me relaxed and happy. Thank you Abbey!

5 stars honestly, I did my first purchase online with KVP & although it was a small purchase It was extremely well packaged for protection. It was dispatched & arrived extremely fast. I also had 2 lovely welcome notes come with the package along with some human treats! So awesome. A perfect example of how customer service should be. Well... I booked for getting rabbit for my daughter I asked how much roughly they said $99 even though that was from i think $300 for mini lob rabbit is way overpriced (I checked same one online $80~$150) And I got the exact same carrier $20 from k mart They sells $45..I bought many other things they recommend so paid total $509 exept cage and carrier that i already got So if you want to get rabbit ,food , cage, carrier, other stuff you should expect roughly $800

We Purchased our boy Bluey from Kellyville pets 8 months ago now and all I can say is the whole team are awesome. We have had the pleasure of going in and seeing Jennie (who originally introduced us to our new best friend Bluey) in the bird department often and is always so helpful. Since the new lockdown began we have had to do all our best friend shopping online and even that has been a pleasure with fast delivery and a personalised touch on every box.

We own Lunar our bearded dragon. She loves eating live foods such as woodies silk worms and meal worms. We can always rely on Kellyville pets to have her favourite foods in stock. It’s always fresh well packed and delivered next day. They always enclose a gift of treats to her owners with a special note. Such a lovely gesture. This is a great pet store, with all the needs of a kitty karer, pootch provider, fish friend, reptile rescuer and all the accessories anyone could ask for, if this place hasn't got it, they'll het it for you. 6 out of 5 from me. Also if you have any questions about Cavoodles there is a staff member that really knows her stuff (Hayley) Thank you Hayley for your patience and insight today, you were a great help.

Always super friendly and helpful staff, Molly loves coming for a visit, she is like a little celebrity with the staff that works in the reptile area, they fight over who is going to pat her first, and they adore her, wears her out that she sleeps on the way home. Staff are easy to ask question, no question is stupid they are always have an answer, and always show you to things if you can't find it.

Ordered our live food from Kellyville Pets today. Came quickly and so carefully packaged. Added bonus was the little treat for the owner. Totally made my sons night! Purchased our boy from here January 23 and I cannot recommend the team enough. Special shout out to Bailey for all his help and patience. If you are considering a lizard this is the ONLY place to visit and your one stop shop!

Though I have never physically been to this store,I cannot recommend it highly enough. I live on the other side of the country and place product orders regularly and they are always very quick to be processed and arrive at my door. The staff are lovely to speak to over the phone and I can't fault the products. Highly recommend.

Huge array of animals to choose from, some not in the best keeping conditions. Had called in advance to have my two parrots nails trimmed, got there and was told they no longer offer that service. Bought lots of bird toys for quite a lot of money, found some of the EXACT same toys in a $2 store two days later. Not very happy.

Best Pet store I've ever been. I'm always greeted with a smile and the staff always helpful. Bought our first pup with them and was a great experience. They make sure you are all set up and educated about you pet. Even the after sale service was great. My little Dachshund is healthy and everyone compliments his temperament .

We ordered some silkworms online - they arrived happy and healthy and so fast. The packaging had a sweet personalised message for our Turtle and the little surprise included in the box (I won’t say what so it doesn’t spoil the surprise for anyone else!) was fabulous! If I could I would give 10 stars. Never heard of this pet store until I was struggling to find goat biscuits for our dog in any other store. I gave them a go and it’s by far the best online store I have used. Pricing is competitive and all the little personal touches are just adorable. Harley says it’s pawsome ;)

Horrible. I brought my puppy in & a female vet poisoned my dog she works in the office to the left as you walk in the door or at least use to was last year. He had an bad reaction to the treats she gave. I would be careful going here & definitely not recommend letting them feed your animals anything.

Very rude staff. I have had more than one negative encounter with staff at this store. They really love to lecture you and think they know better on all things. Also, extremely overpriced on pretty much everything in the store. You are better off finding the same items at a better price elsewhere.

Pretty great place with a wide variety of animals all taken care of lovingly, with great service and information. Got our first python here along with the deluxe ptthon starter kit a few days earlier - only wish they had a guide for setting it up, it's simple, but still leaves some questions.

There's something for everyone in this store. If you love pets you will love visiting this store. Large and beautifully decorated I almost walked out with a kitten but my budget and space at home would not allow it I would definitely go back, staff are so friendly and helpful …

Great service with knowledgeable staff. Caitlan and Brooke gave me all their time and experience and I came away with about 40 crickets! I have bought many pets and their accoutrements from Kellyville Pets over the years. Every visit is a pleasure and every purchase is totally worth it.

It was such a joy opening my purchase! Kellysville pets went above and beyond to cater to my companions. The clean up crew (Isopods and springtails) are healthy and breading in abundance. Kellysville pets is also pet rat friendly which is lovely. Will be buying from them in the future.

I love these guys, the delivery in Sydney is so fast (we ordered on a Sunday night and received it on Monday!). They include a few samples and treats (even some for us!). And a personalised message to our dog on the box "Special delivery for Anteros". Love it

Michael in the fish department is great! Always extremely helpful, remembering the fish you are specifically after and letting you know when you come back in! I’m about to buy my second tank for red cherry shrimp and an outdoor pond! What a great hobby!
