A Fantastic Dental Experience for Kids and Teens at Kids and Teen Dentistry! I had the pleasure of taking my two sons to Kids and Teen Dentistry, and I must say that our experience was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we stepped into the clinic, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff at Kids and Teen Dentistry is simply outstanding. They are friendly, caring, and incredibly patient with children. They made my sons feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire visit. Dr. Nikoei, an Iranian dentist, stood out in particular. Her exceptional behavior towards kids, parents, and the staff is truly commendable. She has a remarkable ability to connect with children and make them feel safe and relaxed during their dental appointments. The clinic itself is beautifully decorated, creating a calming and child-friendly environment. The waiting area is filled with colorful toys, books, and games that kept my children happily occupied before their appointments. The treatment rooms are modern, clean, and equipped with state-of-the-art technology, ensuring that my children received the best possible care. One aspect that truly sets Kids and Teen Dentistry apart is their commitment to education. The staff took the time to explain each procedure to my sons in a way that they could understand, instilling in them a sense of importance and responsibility for their oral health. They also provided helpful tips and guidance on proper dental hygiene practices, which my children have eagerly implemented. I cannot stress enough how impressed I am with the level of care and attention my children received at Kids and Teen Dentistry. My teenagers have been going to Kids and Teens Dentistry since they were 4 and 5 years old. They have always been excited and looked forward to going to the dentist, they never want to leave! Dr.Corbeil is very thorough when explaining how my kids visit went. I always admire how she talks directly to them and explains everything so that they understand, even at a young age. When the time came that the kids needed fillings, it was nice having the option to use laughing gas. Both my kids were a little nervous, it definitely took the edge off and made it a much more pleasant experience overall. As a parent it is a huge relief to know that your children are in good hands, I have had complete trust in Dr.Corbeil and her team. When designing their waiting room, Kids and Teens took into consideration all the things that would keep kids engaged and entertained. It is a bright and beautiful space that makes you feel like a kid again yourself! When the hygienists come to get the children from the waiting room they are always animated and full of enthusiasm. The admin staff have always been extremely accommodating and friendly. You are always greeted with a cheerful hello and the checkout process is efficient and quick. Thank you Kids and Teens for all that you do!

Very clean. My daughter loved the waiting room. The hygenist was great with my daughter. They are pediatric dentists so I do understand being a specialty they may be a bit more expensive but this is just totally out of the realm of being feasible. They also only gave me the option of having my daughter put under general anesthesia, the most expensive form of treatment option. The dentist also kept pushing for private clinic surgery. She kept telling me it is faster, she will be doing it and If I were to go with CHEO you will need to wait who knows how long. When I am being pressured like that it only makes me think they are in it for the money not to actually help people. Then my daughter left very upset and cried the whole way home because she thought she was only ever allowed to eat fruit and vegetables (no meat, no treats). It took me forever for me to get my daughter to understand that she didn't only have to eat fruit and vegetables. Based on other quotes I have received for the same procedure and how upset my daughter was when we left I will not be returning.

I like taking my daughter there for many reasons. Most importantly the staff that deals with her- dentist and assistant are very kind, gentle and patient. They also have every equipment you can think of that would make a dentist visit easier for a child. Today was “the mermaid tail” lol. They explain everything to her as she is always very anxious and inquisitive. That helps her calm down. As the dentist does the process she speaks to my daughter about what she is doing, asks her questions, asks if she is ok, does she need anything and keeps her engaged. If something is not meant to be done, the dentist will tell us so and suggests other options. Secondary reasons why I love there, well maybe my daughter, are the toys after and the entire place is designed like a kids wonderland. And my final reason, you get slippers to wear upon entry, they don’t expect you to leave your shoes and then give you nothing wear which annoys me. Long post but I hope it helps you make a decision.

Very expensive and above the standard code fees. I called the office and mentioned my concerns and they didn’t do anything. Even I have 100% insurance coverage, I ended up paying significant portion from my pocket because there prices are way higher than 2023 standard rates… they charge me for home regiment that they didn’t give!! Upon asking they said it’s part of office procedure fees… what!!! I will definitely not recommend this clinic!! Looks like I can’t reply to management’s review that’s why adding it here. As mentioned, I already called on Friday and they were not cooperating, I requested the front desk to let Dr know and there answer was, we will try but fees won’t be changed… Regardless, how would you explain “home regimen” fees when you didn’t give us any?? This is the best kids dentist office I’ve ever seen. The activities and games they have are amazing. It is well run and kept up. I definitely recommend this dentist for kids and teens. I’ve attached pictures of the amazing kids area and there is also an area for teens to hang out away from the kids (it’s locked) which you have to ask to go to. This way the teens can stay away from the loud and rambunctious kids. There is also a coffee station for adults. Wifi is available. You can tell the staff are accustomed to kids and know how to react to them. No direct billing which is the only possible downside. Although I believe that feature might actually raise costs due to the extra overhead and time spent by staff to complete bills. In all I highly recommend.

I never thought my child would look forward to going to the dentist, but the care and attention to detail that Kids & Teens Dentistry has put into every aspect of their young patients' visit makes it a fun, educational, and positive experience every time! I am a professor in Child Studies and this may be the most kid-friendly place I've ever been in-- from the receptionists at the front desk to the hygienists (Shannon is amazing!) to the dentists (Dr. Castro is also amazing!) to the waiting room entertainment, office decor, and prize and flavour options. All of the adults take the time to talk to their patients with sincere interest, respect, and patience. Now if the rest of the world could do the same!

I took my child age 3 in for 2 small cavities and the first appointment was a consultation costing $320.00 and the quote to have my toddlers cavities done was 3,500 to $4,000, to possibly more if more medication would be required during the procedure. I have 100% coverage and was blown away that their prices are way above the 2023 price standard. I would not recommend going even for the first appointment to have toddlers teeth counted and a 5 minute talk with the dentist to be charged an amount that my insurance wouldn’t fully cover all of it since they charge such high rates. I have $800.00 of glasses every two years and didn’t pay a penny getting my glasses but not here.

Sadly did not have good experiences here with our two kids separately, though we were referred by our dentist we like and trust. For first kid they sedated her then removed some teeth and immediately sent us out the door, daughter bleeding all over and very confused. Then for our son sedation didn't work and it was terrible and got very little done for lots of money. Not going back. Will ask our dentist not to refer anyone there anymore. They're extremely expensive, will not accept Healthy Smiles unless "medically compromised". Found pediatric dentist in east end who took care of our needs no problem, and accepts Healthy Smiles program so cost us very little.

We had a consult appointment for our son who was referred here. Staff were relatively nice. Dr seemed inconvenienced by us and did not take time to explain details. Recommended only one option or nothing. My son left feeling frightened and down about his teeth. Dr was not reassuring to him at all. Estimate was outrageous and financially unattainable. We had a second opinion in Kingston and estimate was a fraction of the cost at Kids and Teens, and 10 X the customer service. My son felt comfortable, and Safe. Would not recommend for young children.

Dr. Mandy Nikoui and her team are excellent and experts in their field. Our son and daughter have gone to Kids & Teens since they were infants. From injured teeth to tooth extractions when the new ones were growing in on top to dental care after cancer and a stem cell transplant, Dr. Mandy has reassured us and showed incredible dedication to our children's dental needs and well being. We are grateful that we found Kids & Teens so long ago and are not looking forward to our teen and tween aging out and having to go to an adult dentist!

Can't recommend them enough, it was as smooth an experience as possible with an anxious 4 year old boy's first real dentist visit. They were able to take us in almost immediately for a dental emergency, and even book an oral surgery incredibly promptly. They were very communicative and clear throughout the entire process, big thank-yous to Tiffany, Annette and Dr. Nikoui. We are very grateful! Also: the waiting room is even cooler than the photos, your kid will not want to leave!

This is the best dental clinic for any anxious child. The entire team, from when you walk in to when you leave, make you feel relaxed. The nurse is so kind and amazing with kids. She helps them, and the parent feel calm. The dentist is so patient and always hides any instrument that may be scary. We have been to other kids' dentists, but this is the only place my son feels relaxed at. We are lucky to have this place in Ottawa!

Kids N Teens Dentistry has been looking after my son’s teeth since he was about three years old. He is almost 16 now. They have always been very professional and very good with him. He doesn’t want to go to any other dentist. They know how to look after kids, and they do a great job, even with the most difficult children. I highly recommend them to any parents!

Love this office for my children!! We have been coming to this office for over 11 years! The staff is pleasant and we had Shannon as our hygienist always make my kids feel special.
