We have used the function room for a family event in 2014 and have checked into Killara Inn since whenever we visit Sydney from Melbourne. It is in a convenient location to meet our friends around where we lived in the past as well as to the city and other locations given train services nearby. The upgrade to the Inn has seen a great uplift in the rooms with clean sheets and beds. Kali has always been friendly and has found imaginative ways to hand us our keys if we were to check in past front desk close at 9pm. It is also nice to have smiling and friendly staff like Okan and Sally. In my 4 nights visit till today, I was uplifted by a new friend at my bedroom window who appeared to want to check on me! A convenient motel thanks to: - Covered car park. - Proximity to the metro station. - Complete set of amenities, with great water pressure in the shower. - Quiet atmosphere. On the other hand, our room could do with a renovation, and would really need some fly screens. The breakfast is "à la carte", but there's a lot of alternatives at waking distance. In the morning we also had the visit of some Cockatoos.

Very nice place appears to be newly renovated. Room is basic clean and you need to supply anything (like water) that you may need. Quite quiet if you are light sleeper. There is no table or anything such as a workstation so working in your room sitting on the bed isn't really feasible. Very conformable bedding. Dinner menu is good and the meals servings quality and quantity is very good. Reception and dining room staff are very polite and efficient. Car Park can be a bit of squeeze. If checking-out early there is no provision for leaving the room key so you will need to lock it in your room and phone the reception after 7:30am to advise you've checked out. The functions rooms are very good but again the limited parking may preclude using this venue.

A quiet, comforting hotel suite on the side of the easy to access Pacific Highway in the northern suburbs of Sydney. Killara Suites has become my most frequented location I stay when I come to Sydney. All the staff (Kali, especially) has always been incredibly accommodating and helpful with my stays. The rooms are always pristine, with the right facilities to keep you comfortable the entire time. Most mornings, my Cockatoo friends come and hang out on the balcony, quietly watching me as I observe them. The bar, and the restaurant have both won me over, with some incredible Asian cuisine and peaceful atmosphere - it takes the cake as one of the most pleasant dining experiences I have had in Sydney. Killara Hotel & Suites was a delight. From the great staff and front of house experience, my night stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The new in house restaurant is a breath of fresh air of Asian fusion with dedicated chefs, be sure to grab some drinks from the great bartenders while you wait for your food. Can't wait for the new downstairs bar to be opened there in the coming weeks. The in room entertainment is super easy and modern, with smart connections to your phone with your current streaming apps at your fingertips. My experience was more than satisfactory, this is my go to stay now. Everything was exemplary!

Our Family stayed one night at Killara Hotel and Suites. We absolutely loved it. We booked our room around 5pm in the afternoon and not only were they able to get us a cot (brand new!) in the room on such short notice but also upgraded our stay. We found the room to be spotless, with a very nice new modern feel. Our interaction with the staff was very friendly and considerate. Will stay there again in the future!

Our stays here are always wonderful - but last time we left some precious Jewellery in the room & did not realise till halfway home on a 5 hr drive. The way the management handled our situation was excellent. They found the jewellery, kept it safe for our daughter in law to pick up & their honesty & prompt reassurance shows what good people are running this establishment. 5 stars on every level... legends!!!

Motel wanting to be a hotel. Interior is definitely looking like a hotel, well renovated, but the building outside looks like a motel. I am not so happy with their services though, because they kept on knocking the door and disturbing every morning. Location is not so friendly to those who do not have a vehicle, too far away from the city. Recommended if you have a car and only want a decent looking room.

I was fortunate to be invited to an event for The Hornsby-Ku-Ring-Gai Post at the Killara Hotel and Suites recently which was held in the court yard. It was a most enjoyable event with friendly staff, excellent food, and a very convivial environment. The new management have done a great job with the recent extensive renovations.

We stayed 2 nights in the Premium Suite. We had a queen bed and a pull out sofa. The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was amazing! Refurbished rooms with lovely decor and furnishings. Would recommend to anyone needing a place to stay.
