This station lies in between the wynard and hornsby. It is very quiet and environment is calm. wheelchair isn't accessible here and nor does the availability drinking water. Killara station has very poor rest rooms and they are very weird. There is no single toilets for disability. Even there is no facality of lift or elevator, it is very difficult for passanger to transport their luggage. Sometime we can see the elder passanger were waiting for the supporting hand to go into the platform because they aren't comfortably walking through the stairs. Opal top up machine and some well organised rubbish bin are available but there is no any shopping center near by this station. Even for buying drinking water we have to travel into next suburb. This station is not so good for the tourist as there is nothing that could attract them. Gordan is next stop toward hornsby and lindfield is next station to centre. Both the next station are widely developed and everything such as shopping centre, playing ground are available in those stations. P.S. killara is all in all residential suburb without any distraction and traffic. Very peace and environment is very good.

Killara is a 2 Platform station on the Sydney Trains network servicing the T9 northern and T1 North shore and Western line. Facilities are an Opal card top up or single trip ticket machine, Toilets, Payphone, Emergency help point, Wheelchair accessible car space, Commuter car park and a Kiss and ride stopping area. This station is serviced by bus service 556 Lindfield to East Killara. Very pleasant station.

When it comes to Killara station what you see is what you get. This kind of simplicity is why it got such a high rating. While not all trains stop here it averages at least a train every 15mins and you can just easily look up the times on the internet!! When it comes to this station 5/5 because just your simple, authentic train station that is not too crowded and gets the job done.

My wife had to use the washroom so we stopped at Killara station at 23:00 PM, and what we found was all 2 washrooms were locked. She had terrible stomach ache and I was watching her couldn't do anything. Next train supposed to be after 15 mins but it delayed.

This is a pretty small station. There are not many amenities. Only a bathroom and drink machine. There is also no lift so if you have a pram you will have to carry it up the stairs or walk about 12 minutes to Lindfield station which has a lift.

Located in North Sydney, a very secluded and quite neighbourhood. Not many shops located in this neighbourhood.

Cityrail keeps the schedule by cancelling stops. Wave as your train passes the station on time.
