My review is a bit late, but I did not want to write it to soon after the experience, as I wanted to be fair. Quite possibly, one of the worst group experiences I have been involved in. This was a Friday evening (6:30pm) dinner for a work group of 10, and we seemed to be the only guests in the entire restaurant... you would think the service would have been excellent? It was not. From the very beginning, we felt we were an inconvenience to the server. It took several minutes to get our first drink order, and then when he came around for the apps, he seemed to be rushing us. No sooner had the apps been ordered, he was taking orders for our mains... again, rushed. We did manage to get a second drink order in. The apps arrived and within 5 minutes the mains arrived... did I say we felt rushed? The only reason this review was 3 stars and not 2, is because most of us enjoyed the food itself. No offer for dessert, coffee or more drinks. The server just brought the bills. So, we paid, and took the short walk to Jack Astor's where we stayed and enjoyed our evening until well after 1am. A lost opportunity for KSS, and I know I will not be back.

The service was pretty good. We were seated quickly, the waiter was attentive and friendly. And if you are staying at the hotel you get a discount. No complaints there at all. The food however left something to be desired. I had the salmon and my friend had fish and chips. The salmon came over cooked, which they were very gracious in offering to make me a new piece without complaint. They also left me with my plate so I was still able to eat away at my vegetables while I waited for the new piece. My friend did not make a formal complaint but the batter at the ends of the fish were hard as rocks and he only ate half his meal. When my second piece of salmon came out it was cooked properly but really lacked flavour. My impression was that nothing was fresh, it was all frozen...including the vegetables. Using fresh ingredients would have made all the difference I believe. Again, service is really good but I would not come back again to eat a proper dinner.

First off their Facebook page is inaccurate they do not have a patio websire said they were opened till 9pm, we arrived at 7:30 and we were told that they were closed to public. All they can say was they were sorry and I told them maybe the needed to update their Facebook page and also was also told sorry so they do not have a patio and they were closed at 7:30 close to the public After reading other reviews we were looking forward to this place. From out hotel we walked all the way up there to go. Terrible terrible not very friendly. Rude! Not how a visitor to this beautiful city should have been treated. Maybe update their site! Unimpressed!

I dined at Sizzle because I am temporarily in a wheelchair and was looking for a restaurant in Kingston with an accessible washroom. Though they advertise the washroom is wheel chair friendly this is false information. Anyone in a wheelchair who would try and open the heavy door to enter the washroom could easily hurt themselves, and would be taking a risk while holding the door and trying to navigate his or her wheelchair!

Great service but the breakfast was forgettable. A solid 59%. I had the eggs Benny and my partner had the four points breakfast. We ate more than half of the meal but only due to the franks red hot. Nothing was seasoned enough; it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. The coffee was basically hot water. The service on the other hand was really good; we were seated fast, got our order in right away and food was hot/served quickly.

A bunch of us girls get together for an event at this hotel every year. Coffee is hot and plentiful, and breakfast standard and quick. Make sure to come early, tables fill up quick on weekends! It was a treat to have the same girl (Amanda) take care of our group room and our breakfasts. Service was fast, no matter how busy we always got a smile, it was nice to be remembered from last year. We will definitely be back!

Exceptional food and service. Had the prime rib special which was very reasonably priced and food was excellent. Waiter was extremely personable and very accomodating with some minor substitutions to the dish. The dining room had some awesome circular booths that granted a great degree of privacy. Bathroom was immaculate. Also the location is pretty convenient.

The waitress walked in as we were lined up and took people behind us in line to he seated before us and when we said something about it she rudely told us she had no way of knowing even though we were clearly further ahead in the line and had been waiting a great deal longer, she was rude, inprofessional and kept us from getting our food on time

What a great restaurant located within the four points Sheraton. Its is reasonably priced with good food. Surprisingly it offered decent gluten free options at no extra cost. The menu didn't indicate what was gluten free but upon asking the server was above to identify several options. #localguides

This place was fairly affordable and the food was filling. The food was a more home cooked feel rather than gormet. The bacon on the burger was the best bacon I have ever had! The atmosphere was quiet and casual, which led to speedy service

This place is usually great. But they had different staff running the front of the house, service was not up to my usual experiences, we usually come at least every 2-3 weeks. Food was also only mediocre really disappointed, I tipped but couldn't justify giving them much.

The decor is cool, I love the round booths. The glasses and bowls are creative too. Everything has good quality and presentation. Reason I'm writing though is the gnocchi poutine. O.m.g. delicious. Heavenly. Kudos to the perfection. Not a single cheese curd was unmelted.

Excellent souper et service remarquable ! La salade asiatique était copieuse et savoureuse. La serveuse Samantha a pris soin de nous en nous protégeant du vent froid sur la terrasse, puisque nous devions manger dehors à cause de la Covid. Thank you, Samantha !

  • Max Mulville

The food was excellent and staff was nice, but I found it troubling when I entered the bathroom area. As a part of the LGBT community and as a transgender person the labels “suits” and “skirts” made me quite upset and ruined the whole experience for me

Very bad service had to go get waitress all the time. Can't make a clubhouse at all used turkey roll. Surf and turf sucked big time. So bad we will never be back.

  • Anthony Boese

Great food, friendly staff, and reasonably priced for what you get. They have private rooms if you book a head which is wonderful if you have children so they can get up and roam.

  • Matthew Auld

Food was good but not worth the price – many better options nearby both in terms of quality and value. However, staff were wonderful
