Disappointed and a little angry. I took my dog in for a groom Friday 13th of August and was quoted £85. I requested my dog be brushed thoroughly as his coat is changing and requested his nails be cut and the hair below his paws be trimmed, I was then told it would cost £120 - fine. After almost three hours I picked up my dog and was told the hair under his paws couldn't be trimmed as my dog was too fussy and the groomer then proceeded to lecture me on the merits of the type of collar I was using. The groomer started to question the validity of the prong, whether it was legal and would not even hand the collar back to me and suggested I use one of their slip leads instead. I then grabbed the collar from the groomer and put it in my pocket. At this point one of the shop assistants, noticing the tension, came over to show me the types of slip leads they had. Because of the entire experience I felt a little pressured into buying one, despite knowing it would not work. But having basically been told the prong collar was a problem, probably illegal and being made to feel as I was causing my dog pain, I bought the slip lead for £34 and left. I also noticed my dog's coat did not look properly brushed. Whilst he looked fluffy, I could see bits of his old coat still showing and the hair came out in my hand very easily. So I am not entirely sure how thoroughly he was brushed; after spending £120 on a groom! The entire experience was a bad one and I was a bit angry; from being accused of using an illegal and inhumane collar to being pressured into buying a slip lead, to not having the hair under my dogs paws trimmed and then realising the groom itself wasn't even proper as his hair was still coming out in my hand. I would not recommend this groomer to anyone else. I am happy to speak with the owner about my experience and review if they would like.

Once, in need of a gift for a dog, I turned to the King’s Road Pet Pavilion. I was overjoyed to come across this store, from their cute stuffed animals designed for pets to their squeaky bones that all dogs are bound to adore. It was absolutely amazing - the dog I gave it to was also delighted. One thing that could be improved: the price. The bill that it came to was slightly overboard, and I feel that the place could be majorly improved with a small price reduction. Other than that, this store is awesome!

We absolutely love Pet Pavilion. We generally go to the one in Kensington Church Road and it’s always a delighted to be received be Eymie and Huw, always so lovely, knowledgeable and friendly. The products they sell are great and of high quality – we have the wonderful Chelsea nest bed for our Italian Greyhound, who loves it. He also loves going there and enjoy the treats he gets from Eymie and Hew, always very generous with him. Highly highly recommended ❤️

What an awesome experience from dropping off my dog to picking him back up. Enrico was amazing, he listened to all my needs and looked after my pet very well. They kept him for around 2 hours and he had a full groom, nails trimmed and teeth brushed. When I came to pick him back up my Chico was all smiles! Thank you guys for amazing job and I will be back soon!

Took my pet for a nail trim, and was very disappointed in the treatment. Not only did the carer approached my dog in a rather aggressive way (which scared off my dog), I was not allowed to be next to my pet, and the trim needed to happen in the shop area which resulted into a bloody (YES, there was blood), and chaotic trim. Absolute nightmare!

Friendly staff. Attentive to both us and dogs. Had a wash, fluff and sonic teeth clean and groomer pointed out a growth in the mouth which we got subsequently seen to at the vet. Normally my friends dog doesn't like walking by groomers he's been to but he doesn't mind walking by here so the staff must have treated him well.

Great for grooming and health treats. The service is excellent and I’m pleased with the gromming in there. Also easy to find cabin approved pet carriers. I was struggling to find it to travel on the comercial flight with my pet, and they had it in the right size. I think it is an excellent shop for all pet things.

Recently, I had a very nice service from Marika. Apart from a very cute haircut, she made a deep cleaning to my dog's teeth. I like the fact she was very sweet and also professional . When the service was done she gave me some tips in how to maintain the hair and skin healthy ! Thanks for everything ! See you soon

The staff is so friendly and the store literally has everything that you could possibly want, especially if you're looking to spoil your pet. For us, we purchased cat grass, cat nip, and a few toys. Really, not bad at all. It's good to know that there are reasonably priced and care about the health of your pet.

Second time visiting this store on new kings road, didn’t find the staff very friendly again, they have no problem taking my money but have made me feel like I’m not posh enough to shop there even after I spend a lot of money, will travel a bit further now to go to one of the other stores instead from now on,

The staff may be friendly but what they did to my dog is awful. My dog is all sad and doesn't like getting a haircut and since i went there she is scared or dogs and scissors. Also shece out with cuts of her body. I should of called the police DONT BRING YOUR DOG THERE NEVER

Amazing place to grooming and heath treats our beloved pets. Staff incredibly nice and very committed to give the best cares. Clearly with knowledge and last guidelines not forgetting kindness. Very good not only with the dog but with us. Absolutely recommended

My wife treated our dog to a visit as he was shedding hair all over the place at home. He came back looking great, much less hairy and smelling a lot more pleasant! It really did the trick. The staff were helpful and the dog seemed very happy when he returned!

Lovely pet shop and I visited both in December and again in July. Lots of lovely pet products, pet toys, British made blankets, treats and foodies. Highly recommend popping in. I brought a plastic oinking pink which will keep my fur animal well entertained.

Do not take you dog there to be groomed. They have mistreated my pets in the past and I have also heard stories of other pets being ill treated as well. Rather pay extra and take them somewhere else. I hate animal cruelty and these people don't give a damn.

Great friendly service. You should always be able to find what you need for your pets needs and if not they will help you source what your looking for. There is also a great grooming parlour here that is very popular because they have high standards.

The staff have always been friendly and helpful at Pet Pavilion. It's nice that they remember their customers too, always greeting me by name and asking about the dog. Very happy to buy from here and highly recommend a visit if you're in the area.

My pup has had terrible experiences in the past with other groomers and is not a fan of grooming at all, usually comes away desperately needing the toilet, itching, looking ridiculous and not her usual self. That's now all changed! After

I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my two doggies. I have rescue pooches who are both very nervous but the pet pavilion groomers all treat them with so much kindness and patience that they love their visits to the doggy salon!

The best groomers in London, we travel in each month and our Pug always comes back full of beans and looking fantastic. The staff are kind, friendly and knowledgable and our dogs are always excited to visit the stores.

Love this little shop great market place although a little hidden and can be slightly pricey, but it is a great little shop with everything you need for your pet. Great market area to walk around before or after.

This place will rip you off in front of your face. They'll say one amount over the phone and just write more in person -- and deny they did this. Don't let them pull wool over your eyes. Overpriced services.

Great store, lots to see and choose from, wonderful parlour where my 2 labs go for wash, dry, nails etc, they come out happy, gleaming and smelling wonderful ! Very lovely friendly staff.
