A hidden treasure right on the beach and quiet; sleep with the waves lapping on the beach, which was lovely! It's next to the restaurants, takeaway boardwalk strip, local service station, gift shops, real estate agents, sailing club, sports ground, Browns River reserve, Kingston Golf Club and city bus stop. It's only 10 minutes drive to the Hobart CBD! Or 20 minutes by bus. Room rates are very reasonable. The large rooms with ensuite are comfy, clean, smoke free, have a queen bed plus a single bed, lounge suite, dining table and chairs, tv, dvd/video player, clock radio (was handy), selection of books, magazines, DVDs and videos that make you feel very much like it's a home away from home. Rooms have a fully equipped kitchenette in the open plan lounge and bedroom area. Free WiFi. Off street parking is free too. Safe and secure premises. Would definitely stay again. Debbie and Tony are wonder hosts, so very friendly and helpful and they only live 5 minutes away if you ever need anything. P.S gorgeous sunrises included.

I have been staying at this motel for the past 6 years whenever I go to Hobart. The location is great. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the owners are delightful, caring and just great people. I almost feel part of the family!

Rooms here seems very adequate but the staff was only casually on site and for the first night my Aunt stayed , the rooms were double booked and she had to stay at the owners home , that wasn't really good at 6 at night coming from interstate but they were helpful as they could have been given the circumstances. I would say if you go here double check your booking before you stay but don't be worried about this because it is a nice spot across from Kingston Beach

Tony and Debbie were great hosts. Tony has a great sense of humour. Even invited me down to his smallholding in the Huon. The apartments were just across from the beach, plenty of small restaurants to go to. Clean and well equipped. Well recommended.

What a great place to stay, the motel room had everything we needed and more, plenty of reading matter as well as snacks. The bed was comfortable, the room spotlessly clean. Debbie and Tony the hosts made us feel so comfortable, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this motel to anyone...jan and Ken jenkins

Great Hotel. The owners are the best of kindhearted people you'll ever meet. I absolutely love staying here it's perfect for singles, couples and young families. Gets 5 star rating from me.

Would be lovely if it was completely renovated. Location is excellent. Owners nice , but council need to let them complete works on it
